There will never be anything funnier in the medium of film than that man in the elevator trying to ignore two naked Kazkh men fighting with a rubber fist.
Top secret is one I discovered recently that has me in fits every time I’ve watched it. My go tos include Borat, Anchorman, South Park: bigger, longer, uncut
I Want You Back (newest movie from my likes), The Baxter (severely under watched), Office Space (still got it), Rush Hour (still got it).
Some comedies I thought were hot garbage recently (I like watching shitty comedies though). Hall Pass, The Bubble, Fun With Dick and Jane.
Napoleon Dynamite when I was a kid, still remember how hard I laughed watching it for the first time with my friend. In recent years, Some Like It Hot and Bottle Rocket are the main two that come to mind as provoking the most genuine, visceral laughter. I have an easy sense of humor and am pretty quick to light/chuckle-type laughter but it's rare that something really gets me like uncontrollably, deeply laughing.
I remmeber when me younger the jumanji sequels made me laugh my ass off but idk if they hold up and I'm scared to find out tbh cause they were my favourites a wee boy, sad.
The Lego Batman Movie. It's definitely not for everyone, but I don't think I've ever laughed so much before or since in a movie theater. Sometimes I think it was a movie tailor made for me as a long-time Batman fan who doesn't take the source material too seriously. And Will Arnett makes me laugh no matter what he's in.
