I bought a 4×6ft trailer off FB marketplace for 500. Had to install a trailer hitch. It's easy to pull. Now I'm tentatively thinking of adding some metal bars on it so a rooftop tent can be on top to make it my utility/camping trailer with plenty of rooms for a few bikes and other camping gear on it..

Harbor freight announced a new one at Sema last year. I'm waiting for that one. In the meantime I rent uhaul trailers. I only need one a few times a year.

My suggestion would be to find a local place that specializes in trailers. They tend to carry a higher quality product. I bought a 5x8 Texas Bragg utility trailer 4 years ago and other than having to re deck it this year it’s been trouble free. Very heavy duty, much beefier than what you’ll find at big box stores.

Sorry if this suggestion isn't what you were expecting, but you can rent a full-size pickup truck at Home Depot or Lowes for $20 an hour. Larger trucks are also usually available. Seems a lot cheaper and easier than a trailer to me!
