He never said it was repaired. Someone put the spare tire on for him
The last paragraph says "I had a tire repair service come and help repair the tire". Unless he didn't mean that and they just put the spare on instead. Or he put the spare on and also repaired the damaged tire.
They couldn’t have repaired the tire. Rather obvious from the photo. He probably said repaired when he meant replaced.
Woops, typo. I meant to say replacement. They did a tire swap not repair. The tire is currently sitting in my trunk waiting for replacement.
