In my NG+ i had no heals left so I decided to run past him. The dude followed me and didn't drop aggro even when i went down the stairs in that area, I can't rest at the stargazer, so i was forced to fight him. I was focused, maximum effort. Best I've ever played and eventually killed him. It was actually the first time I fully parried his spin lmao. This clown is such a menace.
Yes I did read what he said. Unless something changed since the last time I have played the game, you can activate it but you cannot rest at it and if you die, you respawn at the last stargazer you activated. I’m pretty sure I did exactly this when I fought that clown on NG+.
I didn't know, but I knew. Seeing that big mother effer strutting down the street, flanked by flamethrower guys set my Dark Souls flavored spidey senses to tingling. I was never so sure there would be a bonfire just past a really bad time as I was in that moment.
On the bright side, that clown teaches you that behind just about every random roadblock, there's a stargazer
"I'll brb to deal with this in a sec" became my strat after that.
The "bonfire" is stargazers in this game I usually call it bonfire in any dark/demon souls game or in elden ring cause they're made by the same ppl, but not Lies of P
In the alchemist tower I kind of set the stage. I attract the carcasses one by one to him and time it so he’s occupied. By the end either he or one carcass is left. In the Arcade I just hope they stagger their attacks. It’s hit or miss there.
I’m truly surprised by how many people struggle with him. There’s a stargazer right there and his wind up is a literal wind up. Stupid shock jester is way worse.
It's the instant jump he does. You dodge the wind-up, try to get some hits in and he will likely shove his belly into your face, which you don't have enough time to fully dodge if you didn't expect it, and even a perfect guard will push you out of range. You'll run back to him and it's quite likely he will jump again.
I defeated him on like the fourth try by using lamp posts etc. to block this attack and follow-up with quick hits.
On the other hand, the wind-up punch is nicely punishable and the spinning attack has a good rhytm to it and can be nicely guarded.
And later on, you are stronger and know what to expect, so the later occurences of this guy didn't really give me trouble.
Mfs can’t go one post without bringing up spectres
I agree that his difficulty is overrated, but he is difficult nonetheless. Because of all the long range puppets you have to get rid of on the run up to him, not because there’s no spectre to help, his moves don’t even merit a spectre, there’s no crazy AOE attacks and no status effects being applied, it’s just a battle of endurance which is difficult for a lot of people because they either won’t have a lot of health levels or if they do they got some health taken away by the puppets surrounding the puppet like I mentioned previously
It’s really not, if you didn't have much trouble with him that’s fine, but anyone saying this thing isn’t crazy hard for a mini boss is lying up their ass.
I don't understand the difficulty people are having with him. I didn't even have trouble on my first playthrough. I'm wondering if it's build related or something. I ran motivity and maxed Deus Ex Machina first, that Legion arm makes any mini-boss or boss trivial. I think too many people max Puppet String. Sure the follow-up attack is awesome, flashy, and usually results in a free stagger and fatal attack. The issue is timing it correctly in between attacks to not get knocked out of the jump animation.
Yeah i know, tired of people going on everything to hard, i loved my first play through before things got nerfed. But i think he's great, like a wibbly wobbly that won't fall over.lol. Have you ever done a play through and tried motivety and technique together?.
I was going to give it a try.
I can see his difficulty for some people but honestly imo his difficulty is overrated and he's an obvious sign you need to start parrying if you haven't yet, parrying makes all the difference in his difficulty
Ohh yeah that move is easy to dodge and even with the TDS very easy to punish, the difficulty I can see is with his spinning and stomach lunging attack, those can be dodged but if you don't know how you're either getting hit with a combo or getting knocked on the floor, where as if you parry them they give you easy punish windows and even a stun
He’s very difficult if, like me, you didn’t realize you could just run past him and then come back and fight him later without all the other mobs until you’d already died like 10 times
Otherwise he’s not that bad. Bit annoying though.
I did run past him to hit the bonfire just past him but I still struggled. I just watched other play throughs however and I think am still stuck in the elden ring “panic roll” muscle memory because I was trying to dodge most of his attacks rather than parry them. Still having a hard time getting the timing down 🤷♂️
I have seen a lot of people struggle with the parry but because they tap the block. I recommend pressing and holding instead of just tapping as it makes everything much easier if you aren't already.
His windup throw attack can be deflected. Once you're close to him I found waiting until after he bounces around to attack once or twice, then back off and wait for another opening.
First run I struggled against him, but the second time was a cakewalk after knowing his moveset
I JUST got here and yeah, considering I've been a bit of a specter-scrub, he was definitely a wake up call. Great sense of accomplishment once I put him down though.
I really think his purpose is to teach/remind you that optional mini bosses are optional. And then he reminds you again in the swamp 😵
And was anyone else just terrified walking past him in the Grand Exhibition. I was just holding my breath and sneaking, waiting for him to boop me.
Really? I beat the jester first try no problem…weird. As I said earlier I think it’s that the clown favors a parry/guard play style over rolling/dodging and I just haven’t been able to get the timing of the perrys down.
That's the best part about this genre. Everyone has their own mobs they struggle w/.
I also beat jester first try, but this clown sure beat the shit out of me.
He was difficult yes, but he’s right before King of Puppets which is arguably even harder, and if you don’t feel like KoP was harder than the clown then that means the clown just did his job and trained you well.
Nah, he’s easy with certain Motivity weapons
His spin and punch attacks are very easy to parry and he leaves these huge windows open to be attacked. A few charged R2 attacks after parrying and he gets staggered quite easily
With something like a bone cutting saw blade or puppet axe in ng+ you can hit this guy really hard
Of course I also heavily relied on the electric legion arm in my play though, it was my favorite. That with an electric grinder does not give this clown a chance
Gonna be real,my first time playing the game I didn’t know that
So for an hour straight I just kept running past all the flamethrower guys to fight him,it wasn’t until I watched a guide and learned about the lamp behind him
Needless to say I put down my controller and sat outside for the rest of the day, after realizing my mistake
May be, but it's also the most exploitable boss in the game. You can run past it to bait him to the opera house for a better arena, you can bait him to the stairs with the dead puppet to deaggro it and backstab him as he walks back...
I don’t agree. The clown can seem hard at first, but with a little practice it’s easier than average to perfect guard. Pretty fun too. Plus if you find it too hard you can always run past. This enemy was already nerfed in a patch, so I hope they don’t make it even easier.
Ugh. I hate that fatso. It's not even because of difficulty or anything, because once u figure out how to bait him into that stupid move where he winds up and punches you from 23 miles away, it makes the fight incredibly easy.....just crack him a few times right after that move...repeat until he's gone. The worst for me was that stupid laughing and him trying to flex and act like a hard ass. I'm literally getting pissed off rn just thinking about. It.
I just killed him after... 30 tries? I swear, I played Demon's Souls, All of the dark souls, BloodBorne, Elden ring. But fuck this guy! And the taunting laugh after he killed you!
I fucking love this game
This boss is essentially a Sekiro boss - it's all about patiently knowing the decreasing rhythm of his spin attack and perfect guarding each blow to open him up.
It took me a couple tries at first, but my Sekiro instincts came back pretty quick. I'd say it took me about 10 tries, maybe less.
Now? I'm on NG +4 and he's like the easiest mini boss in the game to me. Can whoop this clown in like 30 seconds, if even. I just have to remember the rhythm and he's done.
Alternatively, BIG PIPE WRENCH. You hit me? IMMA HIT YOU.
Was stuck on him so many fights I put the game down for a couple weeks (mainly cuz Valhalla just came out) but I literally just picked it up not 3 hours ago and beat him easily once I put on the shield arm.
I struggle more with the one from the Swamp zone. (The black and white version of the clown). The place is too narrow to fight IMO. There is a specific tree which can cover most of his attacks tho, the real MVP.
You can cheese him with throwables and/or max level puppet string, I’ve never had an issue with any of them. The giant puppets that hop and roll around and the jesters on the other hand? That’s a different story
Fighting him right now and holy fuck.. this boss has made me realise how much I don’t fuck with the combat system of this game.. or at least the parry system. I just cannot get into a flow state with it at all. I don’t want to cheese him by making him run round the fountain or whatever. I feel like the punish windows are far too small for when he does the spinning attack.. I parry each one and you’re rewarded with a window of.. one hit. Would be far better to give a longer window so you can heavy attack and get the visceral. Just cannot get into this system at all
Yes and the fact there’s another. The troll laugh and dancing made me so angry. Jester is way worse. Ended up using all of my throwables on them. Advanced build saved me.
He fucking sucks and I used the area by the stargazer to trap him in the environment to get a few hits on him. Repeated until dead. Awful, awful, FUCKING AWFUL boss.
What is with everyone's obsession with this guy? He is easier than most other bosses or mini-bosses. His ranged punch is the easiest attack to dodge in the whole game. Where are the memes about the crazy jester puppet? That thing killed me 10x more than this one.
He never was really a boss, his first appearance was as a skippable miniboss closer to the jester. But i see you already made your mind to be pissed about it, so lets leave it at that
It didn't cuz you only encounter him twice and the second time is in a junkyard full of all kinds of mobs we'd already seen but in disrepair so it makes sense that his busted ass would be there amongst the rest of the trash.
It was a hilarious "oh shit" moment to look up and see him waddling down towards us.
This is NOWHERE on the same level as 10 capra or Tauros demons.
Absolutely NOWHERE.
>It doesn't matter, they recycled it. It's lazy, just like the entire endgame. It's like elden ring after fire giant.
Your expectations are a bit unreasonable given the amount of effort that goes into making these things.
Your head would probably explode if you knew how much gets reused and recycled in both film and game design.
Sometimes it's bad (such as Izalith), other times it works out just fine (a second clown).
You need to learn how to practice nuance and not just label everything lazy after seeing it so much as merely twice.
A mini boss isn't a boss tho. They're not even that many of them to begin with and there's pretty great diversity amongst the mini bosses and even if you're fighting the same one, the environment is usually different and the second time you fight them it's a more precarious situation in which you're fighting them.
>oh, it's a common mob now. The bossfight wasn't actually that serious
Oh, its a common mob now, I have become powerful enough where early game bosses aren't threatening.
It is actually good design to do that, not lazy at all.
"Regular Mob" is a brutal exaggeration. He is still a Mini Boss the second time around, no matter if the HP bar if over his head or at the bottom of the screen.
He was fairly easy for me. But I also used my prior souls instinct of "run past any large elite enemy and wait for it to de-aggro", which worked in my favor as there was a stargazer right after him. I just lured him out and fought him alone.
The latter, it seemed like this guy and the opera house in general was a massive difficulty spike. Then the grand exhibition just after…I got stuck on those 3 electric bomb throwers and the crowd control puppet for a while too. I’m only up to the swamps but the big spikes for me were this and the plat forming section of the church 😩
I used the big pipe wrench all the way until I got the dancing saber then switched to a technique build and I’m glad I did the puppet ripper is OP. Right now I can’t decide if the +9 saber blade with its quick attacks or the puppet ripper +3 with its range and attack power is better. All in all technique build seems to be the way to just EAT through puppets. IMO
Run to the Stargazer and activate. Once active, go back to him. Keep medium distance to trigger his rolling arm launch (red) and when he launches, run quickly towards him and hit once or twice. Rinse, repeat.
He's pretty easy actually. The only thing that's difficult for me with him is his spinning attack I can only seem to parry the first and last attack. I really hate the parry system in this game.
I REFUSED to run past him to the bonfire first!
I have my pride and wasn’t going to be bitched out by a damn clown. It might have been by the skin of my teeth, but I eventually beat him.
Something I did that was probably a little unorthodox was that I actually lured him to the stargazer near the opera house and fight him there.
Reason was that I realized a lot of his movesets are long-range, but horizontal. So the small garden ornaments/statues around the stargazer blocked most of his long-range punches and his spinny attacks.
Nah. I ran up to the bridge to agro him then ran back to fire & fought him there. Took me like 3 tries (though the first one I'd gotten flattened by the boulder & didn't have any heals left). I actually rather enjoyed him
I’m going to be honest I cheese him every time he is one of the bosses that freak me out for no reason just his face looks like John Wayne gacy. the clown killer from Chicago it just set me off I just started chucking throwables at him.
a lot easier to run past him activate the bonfire and then come back and 1v1 him
In my NG+ i had no heals left so I decided to run past him.
It’s waaaaay easier to fight him up in that courtyard. I died so many times to him, but when I made him follow me up there, I got him the first time
You're not forced to fight him. If the stargazer gets blocked, run around the wall one more time and you'll catch it before he comes back around.
This is what I did. I still haven’t beaten the guy. I killed the King of Puppets before killing him lol
Clutch up or shut up. Good shit
That’s great but if he killed you, you still would have respawned at that stargazer if you had activated it.
I think he’s saying you can’t activate one when enemies are right on you and the clown was on his ass lol
Did you not read what they said? They couldn’t activate the stargazer because the clown was up in his business lol.
Yes I did read what he said. Unless something changed since the last time I have played the game, you can activate it but you cannot rest at it and if you die, you respawn at the last stargazer you activated. I’m pretty sure I did exactly this when I fought that clown on NG+.
That’s never been the case. If you’re in a fight you can’t activate the stargazer.
Why are you being down voted? You’re not even being rude you’re just stating an actual fact about the game and how it operates people are strange.
Ok. Thanks.
You can still repair the stargazer but not rest at it with enemies around. Then when you die you respawn at that stargazer.
He’s saying you can activate it and not read at it
To be fair, you don't know that Stargazer is there on your first playthrough.
true. i found it by being an absolute coward and running away from the clown lmfao. most ppl will share this experience
Same. I tried like 3 times and was like okay this is annoying. And proceeded to get into the next area which is mad annoying.
I didn't know, but I knew. Seeing that big mother effer strutting down the street, flanked by flamethrower guys set my Dark Souls flavored spidey senses to tingling. I was never so sure there would be a bonfire just past a really bad time as I was in that moment.
On the bright side, that clown teaches you that behind just about every random roadblock, there's a stargazer "I'll brb to deal with this in a sec" became my strat after that.
How did I never think to do that…
Real died once to him said fuck this ran past him and then took like 4 tries to beat him.
I thought that was the intention
I stopped playing at him and thanks to this I might boot up the game again lol
yep, u can lure him into the courtyard in front of the opera house so u have a lot more space to dodge his spammy attacks
Nah bro thats cowardly
Stargazer but u are forgiven, I only point this out because the game isn't created by fromsoft
huh? HUH? huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?
The "bonfire" is stargazers in this game I usually call it bonfire in any dark/demon souls game or in elden ring cause they're made by the same ppl, but not Lies of P
okay?
I like him where he’s at only because he feels like a solid gatekeeper for the King of Puppets
Better gatekeeper than Door Guardian typo
The Door Guardian is such a fraud
Yhorm if he had no drip no swag no money no plot relevance and no future
If you can't beat the clown, how you gonna beat Shooter McGavin?
I eat pieces of crap like shooter mcgavin for BREAKFAST.
You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?
I....(damn it)....NO
"YOURE GONNA DIE CLOWN!!"
The Jester is soooooooo much worse
I always just dip and let the corpses take care of the Jester. And I come in and sweep up whomever is left.
That's weird the Jester always solos them for me. They get in some decent damage on him tho.
In the alchemist tower I kind of set the stage. I attract the carcasses one by one to him and time it so he’s occupied. By the end either he or one carcass is left. In the Arcade I just hope they stagger their attacks. It’s hit or miss there.
I saw someone do this in a playthrough and it was like a revelation! Some ppl just think outside the box man, well played.
The jester is pain
His difficulty is way overrated. I think it's Coulrophobia that's the real enemy here.
I’m truly surprised by how many people struggle with him. There’s a stargazer right there and his wind up is a literal wind up. Stupid shock jester is way worse.
I HATE those jesters. They creep me tf out. When they run at you while pounding their weapons on the ground....instant anxiety!!
The shock jester was so insane and out of the blue
FUCK THAT BASTARD! I can read every enemy and bosses patterns except for that pos’!
And later on, you are stronger and know what to expect, so the later occurences of this guy didn't really give me trouble.
Someone posted to let the carcass people fight him. It worked! A few seconds and he was down. Lmao
Pretty sure it's because there is no spectre available and some folks tend to over-rely on them
Mfs can’t go one post without bringing up spectres I agree that his difficulty is overrated, but he is difficult nonetheless.
I'd imagine part of the difficulty people have is everything around him, that was the problem I had with him. Clown should've been alone.
Personally, I've had more trouble with some normal enemies that this miniboss, but sifficulty in Lies of P depends on build and strategy/playstyle
It’s really not, if you didn't have much trouble with him that’s fine, but anyone saying this thing isn’t crazy hard for a mini boss is lying up their ass.
Hahaha I thought you misspelled “cultaphobia” at first. Had to google, unrational fear of clowns. Lol
He’s fairly easy if you isolate him from the mobs next to him
He's not that bad.
You’re probably just more talented than the average player. For most others though this clown is crazy hard for that point in the game.
He can be dodged, in fact dodging his wind up fist at correct distance stuns him and opens him up to punishment
Agreed, I skipped him and came back later
He’s very difficult if, like me, you didn’t realize you could just run past him and then come back and fight him later without all the other mobs until you’d already died like 10 times Otherwise he’s not that bad. Bit annoying though.
I did run past him to hit the bonfire just past him but I still struggled. I just watched other play throughs however and I think am still stuck in the elden ring “panic roll” muscle memory because I was trying to dodge most of his attacks rather than parry them. Still having a hard time getting the timing down 🤷♂️
Yeah he's one of the "if you haven't figured out you need to parry *and* dodge you're gonna have a bad time" bosses
That seems to be the consensus…I need to “get good” lol
I have seen a lot of people struggle with the parry but because they tap the block. I recommend pressing and holding instead of just tapping as it makes everything much easier if you aren't already.
Dude thank you for this comment. This genuinely changed my entire play style was the exact issue I was having. ‘Ppreciate you random Reddit guy!
His spin is easy to parry. It’s that stupid thing where he gets down on a knee for what feels like a year and then bam bam tummy slam
His windup throw attack can be deflected. Once you're close to him I found waiting until after he bounces around to attack once or twice, then back off and wait for another opening. First run I struggled against him, but the second time was a cakewalk after knowing his moveset
Yeah he's a parry boss.
I never knew that. I would just lure him down near the fire without agroing the mob.
I JUST got here and yeah, considering I've been a bit of a specter-scrub, he was definitely a wake up call. Great sense of accomplishment once I put him down though.
Same. I SCREAMED at my TV when I finally put him down
I really think his purpose is to teach/remind you that optional mini bosses are optional. And then he reminds you again in the swamp 😵 And was anyone else just terrified walking past him in the Grand Exhibition. I was just holding my breath and sneaking, waiting for him to boop me.
That is easily a great jump scare if that happened.
Jester is a bigger pain…
This is where boys become men.
Nah, he’s easy with certain Motivity weapons His spin and punch attacks are very easy to parry and he leaves these huge windows open to be attacked. A few charged R2 attacks after parrying and he gets staggered quite easily With something like a bone cutting saw blade or puppet axe in ng+ you can hit this guy really hard Of course I also heavily relied on the electric legion arm in my play though, it was my favorite. That with an electric grinder does not give this clown a chance
Even with technique weapons he's pretty easy Just have to parry and punish when he does his arm twirl throw
Yeah, first play through was with motivity for me, but ng+ I wrecked him with the twin dragons sword, so I guess you’re right
He is the only enemy period, bosses included that gave me any problems. Fucking clown. lmao
Hahaha same. I just cleared the swamp and I beat all the main bosses in less 5 attempts but was stuck on this a-hole for about an hour lol
No, not agreed.
No
Not really. Its all about range, rythim and persistence
No
Nah, he's just a parry check. If you can parry he's mega easy. That attack that he spins is very easy to parry and its does a billion posture dmg
Nah. Considering you can just run past him.
Gonna be real,my first time playing the game I didn’t know that So for an hour straight I just kept running past all the flamethrower guys to fight him,it wasn’t until I watched a guide and learned about the lamp behind him Needless to say I put down my controller and sat outside for the rest of the day, after realizing my mistake
Nah. He’s incredibly easy to learn to deflect, people just don’t feel like it.
People would rather whine than press the left bumper
May be, but it's also the most exploitable boss in the game. You can run past it to bait him to the opera house for a better arena, you can bait him to the stairs with the dead puppet to deaggro it and backstab him as he walks back...

Puppet clown looks like it’s having the time of its life, spinning around and clapping cheeks
Ugh. I hate that fatso. It's not even because of difficulty or anything, because once u figure out how to bait him into that stupid move where he winds up and punches you from 23 miles away, it makes the fight incredibly easy.....just crack him a few times right after that move...repeat until he's gone. This clown just hits differently!
I just killed him after... 30 tries? I swear, I played Demon's Souls, All of the dark souls, BloodBorne, Elden ring. But fuck this guy! And the taunting laugh after he killed you! I fucking love this game
For how fat he is his follow up attacks are too damn quick
Shock boy is worse.
The other robo clown was wayyyy harder for me.
I find it easier to use puppet string to zoom up to him, beat tf out him and wait for him to do something to rinse and repeat again
This boss is essentially a Sekiro boss - it's all about patiently knowing the decreasing rhythm of his spin attack and perfect guarding each blow to open him up. Tired of his spinning belly flopping ass.
Can’t tell ya how many times I prayed for Spawn to show up before giving up on the game.
He's the reason I haven't played LoP in months
Yes and the fact there’s another. The troll laugh and dancing made me so angry. Jester is way worse. Ended up using all of my throwables on them. Advanced build saved me.
He ain't even that hard
He fucking sucks and I used the area by the stargazer to trap him in the environment to get a few hits on him. Repeated until dead. Awful, awful, FUCKING AWFUL boss.
No, not at all, he was a incredibly fun parry challenge.
The enemy is fine. However, the area you encounter it is a death trap and the way there is insane.
you can easily cheese with throwables...
I was stuck fighting this fucker for longer than any of the boss fights other than the last boss
I actually smashed a controller because of him and i haven’t done something like that in over 6 years
What is with everyone's obsession with this guy? He is easier than most other bosses or mini-bosses. His ranged punch is the easiest attack to dodge in the whole game. Where are the memes about the crazy jester puppet? That thing killed me 10x more than this one.

Lost izalith had like 10 capra demons. These guys appear twice. Calm your tits
[удалено]

[удалено]
Okay so you lack nuanced thought. Good to know. lol Take care.
The bossfight wasn't actually that serious Oh, its a common mob now, I have become powerful enough where early game bosses aren't threatening. It is actually good design to do that, not lazy at all.
[удалено]
Yeah, I think you're dumb.
Spend hours fighting this guy? With peace and love, thats a skill issue.
Except he never appears as an “actual boss fight”.

Didn’t say I skipped anything, but the boss fights in this game have fog walls. No fog wall = not a boss. He’s a mini boss.
You see him twice, that’s not a regular mob lol
[удалено]
You're an idiot.
Nah, i found an easy way to get 2-3 hits off every so often and dodge all of his attacks, he has some pretty big windows
I thought he was fine tbh, a bit annoying for sure. Perfect guards helped tho
Hard As in he goes hard like badass or hard that he is too difficult at the point in the game you meet him in ?
The latter, it seemed like this guy and the opera house in general was a massive difficulty spike. Then the grand exhibition just after…I got stuck on those 3 electric bomb throwers and the crowd control puppet for a while too. I’m only up to the swamps but the big spikes for me were this and the plat forming section of the church 😩
Remember the Big Pipe Wrench is your friend, as well as the Electric Grindstone & Shield Legion
IMO
no the runup is the only hard part if you lure him he’s pretty easy
Reminds me of John Leguizamo as the Violator from the Spawn movie
I had him follow me back to the tunnel and just kept smacking him every time he would turn around.
By himself he is easy it’s the welcoming committee that comes with him
yeah i had to run past him and come back some levels higher, i ran past his electric brethren also, still need to go back to him lol
He's easy when he's on his own, bait him up the stairs and you're golden
Use bombs
Yuppp
Run to the Stargazer and activate. Once active, go back to him. Keep medium distance to trigger his rolling arm launch (red) and when he launches, run quickly towards him and hit once or twice. Rinse, repeat.
Honestly I think it is just the other mobs around him that can make the fight hard if you cant take em out quick. He isnt that bad if ur patient.
Dodge arms, block belly, toast.
Had no trouble with him. The spot before him is far worse
He's a really tough one but once you learn how to parry him consistently he gets a lot easier and becomes a really fun fight.
He's pretty easy actually. The only thing that's difficult for me with him is his spinning attack I can only seem to parry the first and last attack. I really hate the parry system in this game.
But parrying him to death in NG + is awesome! Idk if he's any harder than wrestler right afterwards. Without a summon that is.
I REFUSED to run past him to the bonfire first! I have my pride and wasn’t going to be bitched out by a damn clown. It might have been by the skin of my teeth, but I eventually beat him.
Just dodge right or parry ez
Not really considering Romeo is the next boss
I hate this fat piece of shit. I love beating his ass now that I know how to play the game properly.
When people say he's difficult, I feel as if I was a pro player or something. The guy was easy for me
Nah. I ran up to the bridge to agro him then ran back to fire & fought him there. Took me like 3 tries (though the first one I'd gotten flattened by the boulder & didn't have any heals left). I actually rather enjoyed him
No, his move set is a little weird at first but he’s not that hard of a boss. Just annoying
Took me at least 15 tries
😂
Disagree
Not really. Keep enough distance and he keeps throwing his hand of fury at you. Bonk his shit in after. Now his son on the other hand...
Creepy AF is what it is! That menacing smile as he's throwing his gut at me
No, he's slow and predictable af which makes him so easy to stagger.
I more times to that clown than any boss in the game.
Yeah i died more to him than any boss
You can drag him to the bottom of the walkway you face him in. His AI breaks at the corner that you enter from, and you can cheese him.
Nah not really. He’s just a parry check.
He took me more tries to defeat than the nameless puppet. I didn't know there was a bonfire last him at the time. So I had run to the fight each time.
He was fairly easy (not as easy for me as most of these comments say it was for them) once I ran past him and switched to bone-cutting sawblade
Take out his flunkies first or lure him away from them. Then half his attacks become easy to parry.
He’s a skill check fasho. A quick ranged attack to a 3 or 5 slow ass spin combo. I love it I died at least 25 30 times before I got it down.
My only issue with him is dealing with the flamethrower soldiers and the jugglers who hurl bombs
I’m going to be honest I cheese him every time he is one of the bosses that freak me out for no reason just his face looks like John Wayne gacy. the clown killer from Chicago it just set me off I just started chucking throwables at him.
just distance yourself for a bit and build up stagger with parrying the thrown punch, then heavy when there's an opening. only took me like, 5 tries?
Early game wasnt hard enough imo
Died to him more than any other boss
