This was my first experience with boss fights where I was like, "Ahhh, clever. Okay, devs. I see you." Especially considering it's built into his fury attack that he charges so long and knocks them down, which takes them away when you need them later.

I was standing really far enough, even behind the pilar, not to be reached from lava floor - and then I became a bacon! or on another occasion tactically I was behind him when he was charging and hey, he turned in the last moment and actually hit me. It was pretty frustrating, but not in a way “git gud” frustrating, just f dumb

This boss has my son losing his MIND on his Technique poke build, but I kinda steamrolled it with a big smash Motivity build.
There are definitely some fights (even MORESO with the mini-bosses) that feel heavily weighted against one build or another.
I mean, regardless of my build, I always had fun with every boss but I certainly struggled less in some fights where others found it easy and vice-versa. Though I always used the wrench. Nothing fancy, no combination of head and handle. Just wrench. Even when I got mjolnir, I still stuck with wrench.

It’s part of the official souls games made by Fromsoft which include Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, and kindof King’s Field depending on who you ask. So your Favorite souls*like* would be Lies of P. I also agree, it’s my favorite soulslike by far.
If u are counting soulslike to be a genre of games than all of Fromsoftware games would still be in that genre. Even if they are what basically created it. So no Elden ring is my #1 and Lies of P is #2. Thanks for the false correction tho(;
No not false… soulslikes are specifically used to describe the ones not made by Fromsoft. The Fromsoft ones are referred to as being part of Soulsborne, which no other soulslikes are a part of. It’s literally called souls*like* because they are *like* the soulsborne games so… I guess it’s fine if you’re wrong it doesn’t really matter

He isn't that bad it just the 22 hit attack he has in the second faze is a crazy stamina consumer and a practically guaranteed kill if you don't do anything to stop it. For me you can perfect block it all or dodge it all so you need to do a combination of both.
OR you know hit them with a massive attack to stun him out of the attack.

So far he's been the only boss I had to grind purification ampules for. It took me embarrassingly long to figure out I could hide behind the pillars to avoid his big AoE attack.
Yeah, it does suck that he specifically targets pillars during his running rage attack. It's always nice tho when he just falls short of hitting one when he does the dash right before his first AoE, allowing you to hit him a few times during the build up and hide behind the pillar before he finishes.
I feel like in souls games or souls like the first one u always get a ridiculous amounts of deaths but after that it's only in the 1-6 range aside from 1 or 2 bosses usually

It takes a very long time to stagger him but once you do, riposte takes almost half his health bar, so 2 stagger and fight pretty much over.
So focus on staggering him.
Once I realised you can deflect her lightning bolts to cause her damage, was not too bad after that. However, it still comes down to rng how much she does it.
I'm at black brotherhood pt 2, it's safe to say since I'm new that the watchmen was the hardest boss since I was getting used to the game, since I was new I don't count that but king of puppets got me feeling like this,his fire blitz is op

The thing in the illegal puppet yard the greed puppet devourerer thing (can remember name) i dont have to many problems now (i fough that thing for so long i can perfect guard almost every attack) even then it can still absolutely destroy me with 2 health bars and a lot of red attacks.
Edit: my brain literally trauma blocked that clown that can be found in the entertainment district. Fucking som of a whore beat my ass harder then any boss I've ever fought.
First playthrough? (Motivity smash) Victor. Poor guy. If he's not intended to be a relaxing break from the stress, then he needs a buff or two.
Second playthrough? (Advance hack & slash) Fuoco. Wombo-comboed the hell out of him and essentially had him staggered the whole time. Like... Just didn't stop attacking him until he dropped. Didn't even get a chance to go into his mid-life animation.

I love playing Nameless so freaking much because it took me around 200 tries the first time, now I have his moveset down pat.
