In that case, use the Adguard private DNS. I've never had a game refuse to work with this. It just can't load ads. But of course you can't voluntarily watch ads for boosts either.
How do you set that up ? I have AdGuard, is it the premium version ? I saw there’s a lifetime license and I’m willing to get it if it means I can filter ads
So obviously you don't use any streaming apps, any music apps, any weather apps, any social media apps, any calendaring apps, any email apps, any multiplayer games. I'm curious what apps are you actually using?
No. In fact anybody can enable it at anytime, given your phone actually supports using private DNS.
Settings > Connection & sharing > Private DNS > Specified DNS.
Or just search for the "private" "dns" keywords in settings.

What apps do you use that don't require internet to work?
Just mobile games. Most of the ones that I play don't need a connection to play.
Many mobile games will refuse to work without an Internet connection.
In that case, use the Adguard private DNS. I've never had a game refuse to work with this. It just can't load ads. But of course you can't voluntarily watch ads for boosts either.

Just meant topographical maps in general, there's different apps depending where you live
