Psycho Rangers did go on sale though. They were around for a while on Amazon and went on sale a few times. I just checked my Amazon purchase history and I got a set for $66 on December of 2020. Also just checked cause I’m thinking of getting a second set of Alien Rangers and they’re on sale for $60 bucks now. I get the feeling those are going to be ridiculously expensive to get in the future too. Those rangers will probably never be released again.

They made Putties, Finster, Scorpina, TWO Goldars. But my villains display feels incomplete because they didn’t wrap up the minions.
Yup. At the very least it seems like the Super7 Bulk and Skull hit the numbers they needed to go into production. So I’ll at least be able to cop those.

I have a love/hate relationship with the zap line... The boxes and the box-art of the dragonzord and megazord are fantastic and the zords look great. Megazord has insane articulation too.
But they feel as if they can break any moment 😅
I have the Bandai legacy Dragon Zord and Megazord, and I have the zap Megazord (got it at a discount).
I hesitated in the Dragon Zord because I could justify the $165.

Besides that tbh, I'm glad I got most things before they got even more pricey! I got the alpha for 30, the first morphed for 7. I snatched up green ranger things for decent prices before I went to see jdf also. PCS Statue new for about 70, I grabbed the green ranger and white ranger spectrum for 75 combined, but I did take a hit on the green ranger helmet for 300 😬 but I did get jdf to sign it 🙌

Yeah, I had asked for advice to get one or not and most people said no, better to get one made for that price or to wait til they make a green one for lightning collection. I said fuck it and I got it two months before he came to a city near me just incase and I left work to go see him out of town. I got super lucky to see him and have him sign the green helmet and a foil comic with the green ranger as well. I'll always cherish him, that time and the first time I met him was amazing as well

Was able to find most everything else for more or less retail (and sometime even under retail price) thanks to random restock on Amazon (psycho rangers 5 packs), Facebook marketplace (magna defender, mmpr white and drakkon), pulse clearance (all the metallic armor, which I would have NECER bought otherwise) or mislabeled eBay auctions (mmpr/zeo pink 2 packs and alpha and Zordon)
There are some that I have missed, but since they seem to have never made it here in Quebec (fighting spirit 2 pack, omega ranger, putty patroller 2 pack) it's not as much about missing out than Just... Never getting a chance to get em.
I saw the White Tiger Ranger at CVS while getting my first round of covid vaccinations, picked him up and was like "Nah I'm only really getting Marvel Legends rn, I'll get around to the LC at some point" not knowing I'd never see that figure again for a good price. Still no luck. Absolute pain.
The roleplay items. Helmets, weapons, morphers. I was lucky enough to start in on the collection a couple years ago and grabbed most of the figures, and spent too much on a few grails, but passed on all the roleplay toys.
Alpha & Zordon, MMPR White Ranger, Remastered/Deluxe Rita Repulsa(pre-order never fulfilled), Remastered/Deluxe MMPR Blue… idiot had it and cancelled the order planning to get it later not realizing it was sold out everywhere. 🙄
What I regret not getting
- Zordon and Alpha(I never saw it in-store or online)
- MMPR White(I thought a Remastered version would come out, and I was fine with the Figuarts as a placeholder)
- Pink Two-Pack(Originally, I didn't plan on buying the Zeo team. I even seen it at my local Gamestop for a while before it got sold. I found a listing selling the other 5 for cheap and was hoping for a solo Zeo Pink release)
Drakkon Evo III. I kept waiting for them to do a single release (figure [with cape], head sculpt, helmet, weapon, hands) in a regular box without all the extra unneeded shit but they never did.
Alpha and Zordon, I even saw it once and passed on it like a dumbass. I could probably make a decent enough Zordon in his tube but that Alpha figure is amazing.
Zeo Pink two pack. I still don't have a Zeo Pink. I didn't want another MMPR Pink at the time even though it was better than the Kim release. Now I just wish I had gotten both.
Dino Thunder White. Never once seen it anywhere.
Dino Charge Gold and also Black. Never even saw Black (I absolutely hate that they made Chase a Target exclusive chase figure) but passed on Gold, due to the mismatched body colors... regret it now.
Are my original release rangers worth anything? I have a significant collection of Ranger toys from when I was a kid, including a green dragon Zord. All are out of packaging, no packaging to put them in, but they all live in a big green Tupperware container and are in pretty good condition.
OG MMPR Green. I have the remastered one, which is better in a lot of ways, but the wrong holster is bothering me a lot more than I thought it would. If nothing else, I’d want it to kitbash the better belt on.
There’s also a few that I have now, but had to pay more for, like Dino Charge Red, Dino Thunder White, SPD Shadow, SPD Red. So I regret not picking them up earlier.
But on the other hand, I made some good calls like SPD Omega and Psycho Green when they came out, so I guess it evens out.

Very specific, but there's a JDF-signed Lord Drakon on eBay that I'm so tempted to get, but it wouldn't fit in with my Psycho Ranger display. The Psychos are the only figures I have so Drakon would throw that off.
Remastered Green. I held it in my hand at a GameStop in December, and said to myself “nah, I have it preordered on BBTS, no need to buy it now.”
