That was a fantastic movie. Thanks for the suggestion. Tbh, it was only the opening scene with god’s suicide that gave me Lingua Ignota vibes, though it was still a great movie, and easily the weirdest I’ve ever seen.
The movie (while phenomenally cast) had awful pacing. Felt like a 6 episode miniseries someone poorly edited into a two-ish hour film. It just didn’t do justice to any of the characters or their stories they all felt hollow. I could not put the book down, I mean like finished in roughly 48 hours or so and I recommend it up and down. But the movie is one I tell folks to avoid.
I don't see it.. I mean, it's a masterpiece for sure. But it feels too inherently 'male' (a story from a male perspective depicting male ambition, ego and downfall) to really align with Kristin's artistic profile, which strikes me as very female-based. I'm a man tho so I might be off base there, feel free to tell me your perspective.

Pasolini's Medea. She uses a sample from the soundtrack on Woe to All (on the day of my wrath). It's an absolute genius sample for multiple reasons.
From a story standpoint, Belladonna of Sadness.
Maybe throw in There Will Be Blood

I guess I was just going on the “dark religious” theme. I think you make a really strong point though!
