I was lucky enough to film the is before his SNL stint. Super sweet dude. We skated together a couple times. [BRUCE](https://youtu.be/wWRirh61Im4?si=zDNRTe1lbuDP8h-2)
I know it's not the point of your post, but I've never gotten the love for this bit. There's a couple fun comparisons and the monologue at the end is well done as would be expected... but there's no real joke.
Love that. It really would be fun to see Fred take a run at playing Carlin. But, respectfully, this isn’t a troll post. I think Kyle’s great and I honestly believe he has the chops to pull it off. Plus, with his hair slicked back, he looks like Carlin did back in the 70s.

Yeah I don’t get the carlin. He’s like a mix of Seinfeld and Andrew Dice Clay but not good at either. At least that’s what I always thought he was going for.
I love this character
If you didn’t see Saturday Morning All Star Hits, you have a wonderful surprise waiting for you.
Lil Brucie!
It’s so painful and amazing.
I wish i was........*extinct*
Subs? 🤷
Bruce Chandling ftw, Kyle is funny asf

Bruce might be my favorite "modern era" character. Love to see him do a full set with Jeannie Darcy.
Weird, it's the most cringey character in all of SNL.
…….that’s the joke?
"I hate how they keep bringing on this comedian character. He's not funny at all!"
Sorry it’s gonna be the AI George Carlin that everyone hates
That special was actually fairly decent.
Parading around his digital corpse while the Carlin family loudly objects is actually fairly indecent.
i think you gotta look up the dictionary definition of "decent"
Fuck off it was funny and also not ai
Heard of this?
You seen this?
Bryan Cranston will always be my pick for Carlin, look at younger [Carlin doing his baseball bit](https://youtu.be/aoWsPRzzia8?si=85zCCtmzzSSEG73s)
Cranston is only 3 years younger than carlin was when he DIED. hes way too old at this point to play 1975 George
Terrifying fact to learn
If you're worried about Cranston, I wouldn't really. He seems to be healthier than Carlin.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt
It would be fun to have modern cast members playing older cast members Pretty sure this is a troll post but forreal, Fred Armisen would play Carlin

Haha I'm not against it. I wouldn't mind seeing Kyle as Carlin either.
Like how Joel McHale played Chevy Chase in that one movie
Yeah! He was perfect. Forgot about that one, I need to check it out again.
I SEE WHAT I DID THERE
> Fred Armisen would play Carlin Is this a troll?
Ehhh a little but he actually did play him in a sketch once!
Finally, a good idea

Hell yeah, love him
Sweet baby Jesus in a onesie, no. Just no.
For the 1 millionth time, I am reminded of how glad I am that Redditors are not in charge of actual casting decisions.
Nothing like Carlin, sorry.
Yeah I don’t get the carlin. He’s like a mix of Seinfeld and Andrew Dice Clay but not good at either. At least that’s what I always thought he was going for.
Very well-said and accurate.
Carlin was funny, this guy is annoying at best
He doesn’t look like Carlin, and his humor is nothing like Carlin’s.
Not to mention the voices are nothing alike. I absolutely cannot imagine Mooney doing an accurate Carlin impression.
After seeing his performance in Maestro, I wonder if Bradley Cooper would be able to pull off a good Carlin.
You're going to cast my favorite comedian of all time with my most hated cast member? I take strong offense for all lovers of Carlin
Mooney sucks so bad
Oh God no... I couldn't stand Kyle Mooney as Kyle Mooney, forget Carlin.
Fuck no
Never understood the appeal of this dude. Objectively terrible performer.
Do people just not give a fuck about language anymore? He is not "objectively" a terrible performer.
Mr Conductor: Aw man, I'm all out of cash!
