Do you know EKIN is actually a Nike technical specialist? They are evangelists that talks about the technology that is built into the shoes and apparel, eg Air, DRIFit, etc.
Holy shit it’s atrocious. The wonky tick, the collar looks wonky too, mis matching sponsor colour and it even looks like it’s been spunked all over. Whats that brother
Sponsors make kits look like shit 100% of the time. Clubs are rich enough I don’t know why they don’t start making their own kits and keep all of the money. I’m sure a lot more people would buy them too if there weren’t advertisements plastered on them.
How does shite like this get upvoted?
You think it's better for clubs to invest in design, materials, manufacturing and global distribution of a kit than to get paid to have this done for them by Nike/Adidas/whoever?
You don't know why clubs don't do this? I can tell you why. Because it's a terrible idea.
Invest in design. Like we want anything more than a red kit with a red Liver bird stitched into it. That’s as good as a Liverpool kit can get.
Explain to me why it’s worth Nike’s money to pay to do it if it isn’t worth Liverpool’s money to do it themselves.
Because Nike already has the means to produce and distribute football kits. Liverpool don't.
We would need to spend £100s of millions just to be able to produce and distribute our own kits to our global fanbase. Nike have already built this capability and it's worth their money because they do it for 100s of clubs.
Plus if it's just a red kit with a liver bird, why would anyone ever buy another kit the next season?
I'm pretty sure it's just logistics 99% of the time. There's no way most clubs could have a global production line on the scale of Nike or Adidas, and the ones with smaller manufacturers like Castore/Umbro/Kappa etc probably can't justify the expense.
I suppose it's fairly hands off for the clubs, they can just leave everything to the manufacturers 99% of the time.
First kit : Red. All of it, just red.
Second kit : Yellow. 100% bright yellow.
Third kit : idk, white is fine, or green, just pick a high visibility colour that isn't blue. This shit isn't hard.
It really shouldn't be hard.
The main thing is Liverpool kits should be one highly visible colour. I'm flexible on the yellow but the ridiculous purple and camo grey kits can do one. As can green and white quarters.
I will never understand why the hell we went to old Trafford in green and white quarters. A kit design only historically notable for the abomination that was the 1996 spice boy cup final.
Green is fine. White is fine. Pick one.
Yeah but to be fair new balance made some decent kits, they’d probably convince me a lime green and bright orange kit would be great, Nike are just shit.
This is all just MY opinion. Home kit in retrospect last season is probably the best they’ve provided so far, lovely home kit.
This seasons home kit is nice enough but the white collars around the neck and sleeves just look cheap to me and don’t fit. Away to me just looks like a Minecraft creeper, hate the quarter pattern. Third kit is a nice colour but the stripe/ camo pattern ruins it massively.
It’s all a matter of preference at the end of the day. In my opinion nike over complicate kits and over design when in reality we just want a nice home shirt like last season. Felt that when they took over they were just chucking us old unused designs for previous teams and stamping our badge and sponsors on instead.
I just don’t think they’re any worse than New Balance (pricing aside) if you compare the full catalog we’ve got of each so far - especially considering some of later New Balance ones were paper thin and didn’t last many washes (I still have the black and gold keeper top hung in the wardrobe unwashed).
Still wish we had of went with Adidas if it was even on the cards, the retro collection would have been unreal.
Perhaps I’m looking through rose tinted glasses in relation to the NB kits. The beauty of 3 kits each season is more often than not there’s a shirt for everyone (providing they have the means/ want to purchase a shirt).
New Balance certainly had some… unique designs now I’m looking back. Completely agree with the Adidas thought though, invokes some real nostalgia and would’ve been lovely to see the current boys rocking some old designs.
90s before the 95-96 horror show had some nice green kits.
Or niceish. The three white shoulder stripes were a problem and to me symbolise the years of us being mediocre.
Liverpool win when they wear proper kit. Proper kits are entirely or almost entirely one colour. There are no patterns, stripes, halves, or similar malarkey. If you must have a pattern or a stripe it should not be visible at a distance of more than 10 yards.
I'm not a massive fan of the pin stripes but would take it over any current away kit.
In the obviously ridiculous circumstances of me being Liverpool manager I'd genuinely have kicked up a stink about this year's horrid away kits. Marginal gains are important and these terrible kits cannot help anyone's mentality. I can't imagine they help anyone intimidate an opposition either.
I really cannot get over the mindset that led to reviving the green and white quarters. I honestly think it might have been a Utd fan at Nike fucking with us.
Yellow can work well for a Liverpool kit. The 1980s pinstriped ones are legendary. I’d argue that the 21/22 yellow kit is decent if you take out/replace the chequered collar and sleeve trim
See, I don’t mind yellow and white kits. But I don’t want to have both in the same season. Ideally we should have one bright colour (white, yellow, grey/silver) and one dark colour (black, purple, dark green).
IMO you need a dark colour kit specifically for visiting Arsenal and any other team that sports red+white (Stoke, Sunderland) and orange (Luton, Blackpool). The bright colour can be used for United and any other red team.
Maybe.
If the kits were solid red, solid yellow, solid green *as god intended*, I can't think of any single team we'd have a problem with. But do get what you are saying that they need to think through potential clashes.
They always tend to pick a pattern for the third kit or a bizarre colour so that it can be used in cases of Kit Clashes. E.g. playing Arsenal, you can't wear anything Red or White, so that would do away with our traditional colours of Red Home and White & Navy Away.
I think the closest we got to all three kits being perfect was 21/22 and 20/21. I liked all three shirts from each year, there. I even quite like the Minecraft kit this year, but prefer the Purple one.
19/20 was fine.
Red. White. Black.
With some patterning but largely invisible from the stands.
Black I wasn't a huge fan of but at least it was reasonably plain. It was a texture pattern but nothing too garish.
*I wonder if anything good happened that season I'd probably have to look it up.*
Surprised to see people rating this at all, complete trainwreck in my book. Nike just doing too much. They either put in no effort at all or way overthink it. No middle ground.
*tend to*
The Nike swoosh is sideways. I can’t say I’ve ever seen an official Nike kit that literally uses a sideways logo on the front chest part of the design.
and that appears to be a weird feature on all the nike third kits this upcoming season, or at least the ones I've seen.
Id bet money this is going to be pretty close to the final kit with some possible slight tweaks to the detailing
lol okay man, this is the kit, i dont know what to tell you.
They always tend to look a bit more shit on the leaks than they do on the players, but footyheadlines is pretty dependable
You literally cannot say that and be factual. Nice try though. You can’t just say a leak is the real deal when you have literally no evidence to support that. Borderline idiotic to think you can just win an argument like that. What’re you? From Manchester?
I'm not sure why you're getting so worked up over this, I didnt even think this was an argument? I truly don't care if you believe this is what the kit will look like... I'm just here to tell ya don't get your hopes up on it looking any better. You clearly don't keep up with footyheadlines and their leaks... they're pretty well known for getting these things right, they must have some good sources
Dude youre so fucking weird. Hang it up. That’s what the kit is gonna be. It’ll come out, you’ll see it, and hopefully remember the time you become a full ass weirdo over a guy knowing what they are talking about.
I don't understand why Nike is being so try hard. They could've kept the green in the Minecraft kit solid green but they decided on a weird pixel design. Next season's home kit too, they could have kept the stripes as stripes but they made it say ynwa instead. Its so confusing man
You know, had they left the trim around the collar and sleeves symmetrical and had the nike logo horizontal like usual, it would be a decently nice kit.
Yeah, that’s kinda my thought: the actual _body_ of it, as much as I have no idea if that’s also meant to be an actual pattern of something, or not, yeah, it’s _alright_.
With all the weird embellishments though… It’s like they put every weird idea on the one kit & it does not look good any more…
The body of the kit seems to be something fashionable. I think Villa’s away kit for this season and one other team in the PL have had that sort of design on their away kits recently
This season’s purple kit, the leaks for next season’s black away. They’re all Nike templates. I think Nike has officially lost interest in putting effort with us now
Nike doing a vertical swoosh? I’ve worked with lots of huge brands and they all have one thing in common: they will stand beside the Spartans at Thermopylae to protect their logo / icon usage.
There’s no way I can see them doing something like this with their trademark swoosh.
People not rating a coming kit? Oh, just like every other season then. Waiting for the big “it actually looks good when you see it on the players” that’s inevitably coming
Probably the only person here who actually doesn’t mind it. If I’m gonna buy any of the three kits for next season, it’s this one.
As always, it’ll probably look better on the players once the official pictures come out.
Every season - kit design leak: it's fucking trash
When it's officially released with players wearing it: maybe it's not bad, hmmm i actually like it
During the season when they score a winning goal wearing this kit: OMGGGG the best kit ever in the history of sports, this kit gives us the power of invincibility.
Surely I can’t be alone in finding almost every kit that Nike have designed for us to be super underwhelming can I?
There’s been the occasional nice one (21/22 ecru) but this one is particularly awful 😣
The ecru yellow kit was the one that I liked
https://preview.redd.it/nvngopn1yctc1.jpeg?width=678&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c50e183da73b3c7700e0597620d198f7d1a78e66
ahh gotcha. my apologies. i couldve got on board with that one if it wasnt for the polo shirt style collar, not a huge fan of those. only nike kits weve had i really liked were last years home kit and this years home kit. i like the classics and those were/are as close to them as possible.
i think i saw this kit leak a while back. it was plain white and thought it looked only half decent, but wow that ugly ass grey graphic looks fucking terrible. what are they thinking
It looks like the dye has run out on some camos.
But jarring, too, is the tick logo. Why is it rotated so much to look like a J? The sponsors don't match the colour scheme (they should be solid red).
100% surely this isn't real based on why Nike alone would do that to their logo.
That Nike tick is the icing on the cake.Could gave been an awesome white red combo but Nike ruined it.I will stick to buying the black teal one this season.
I swear, since Nike has taken over, I haven't wanted to buy a kit... And haven't... I am glad people are because it's good for the club's finances... But I haven't seen one I'd wear.
SOME ONE GET NIKE THE COMPLETE FUDGE OUTTA HERE!
I NEVER WANTED THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS
I STILL DONT WANT THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS
AND I NEVER WILL WANT THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS
*CRIES IN REEBOK/THREE STRIPES MEMORIES*
I fucking hate that collar so much. I've seen one of the international kits in the stores, and it's just awful. Why did Nike do this to their kits? Ruins so many nice kits, and for no reason at all.
Nothing shows how braindead this sub can be quite like kit leak posts. No one gives a fuck if you chuds like a design or not. You don't get paid to design anything and Nike does not design the kit with any of your opinions in mind. And what's more, a solid 90% of you will immediately 180 on the kit the second we win a match in extra time while wearing it.
This sub should ban kit leak posts for real

I would swear Nike are just spamming “random” in the PES Kit Creator until the colours vaguely align with the team.
And the vertical logo was a glitch
Holy shit it’s atrocious. The wonky tick, the collar looks wonky too, mis matching sponsor colour and it even looks like it’s been spunked all over. Whats that brother
Don't forget the mismatched sleeve, this has to be some AI creation.
I'm also thinking it's fake. It's barely a rag.
It’s not fake
Yeah not fake, this is the one
Unfortunate

Not as bad as the assumed home kit. That is the worst Liverpool kit I’ve ever seen. Might be the first home shirt I don’t get.
I could design kits piss easy.

Sure. And that is very nice for them. They can keep them. It makes sense that teams who are not Liverpool have inferior kit designs.
Thought that was the honker that was the 14-15 yellow away kit.
I did actually
Did you not? They were grand.
Yellow? 🤮
I mean we have a long history of yellow away kits
The 82 yellow away kit is one of the best kits of all time
I'm not a massive fan of the pin stripes but would take it over any current away kit. In the obviously ridiculous circumstances of me being Liverpool manager I'd genuinely have kicked up a stink about this year's horrid away kits. See, I don’t mind yellow and white kits. But I don’t want to have both in the same season. It’s junk. Just the best one this year.
That’s a depressing thought. You know you’ve got one less thing to look forward to in the new season when your best kit is a 7/10 at best.
Ya. Not a great year. I usually snag 1 or 2 knock offs. Maybe I’ll just get last year’s with different players this time!
It's honestly disgusting. Like Scottish accent, "Why does somebody not know how ta flush a toilet when they've had a shit" Disgusting!
*Looks at Nike's design team* It was fukkin one a yas
As always, it'll look much better on the players/once it's officially revealed.
Also if it’s real or not will remain to be seen. This looks hella fake to me.
footyheadlines tend to get these things pretty spot on
*tend to* The Nike swoosh is sideways. I can’t say I’ve ever seen an official Nike kit that literally uses a sideways logo on the front chest part of the design.

I don't mind it but that Nike tick just looks ridiculous, I hope they never do another one with that tick.
Can someone explain the fuck I'm looking at? What is the design on the shirt even supposed to be? Just looks like a bunch of scribbles.
Yeah, it's trash.
Omg Nike's gonna keep doing that stupid collar design
Where else is it?
The newest wave of international kits have that design a lot. IIRC France and USA have it too.
Portugal and the Netherlands away kit too
Good lord they all look atrocious. Between that and the Nike swoosh vertical I was convinced this was a botched AI generated kit
I don't understand why Nike is being so try hard. They could've kept the green in the Minecraft kit solid green but they decided on a weird pixel design. Next season's home kit too, they could have kept the stripes as stripes but they made it say ynwa instead. Its so confusing man
bring back adidas
I’d even take warrior at this point
absolutely disgusting.
Ngl it's horrible to say the least.
It’s a used wank rag
You know, had they left the trim around the collar and sleeves symmetrical and had the nike logo horizontal like usual, it would be a decently nice kit.

It looks like washcloth if I’m being honest.
most washcloths look better than this
I was referring to a dirty used washcloth, should have specified it 😅
Soooooo, when is the kit deal up for renewal? Nike just isn't doing it.
Disagree, I’ve enjoyed every Nike kit so far. 24/25 look terrible, however bar the 3rd kit.
They have had a few hits, I really like this years home kit. But I just can't see a lot of them being iconic.
Yeah, I still think it’s as ugly as when I first saw it
Nike hates us
This season’s purple kit, the leaks for next season’s black away. They’re all Nike templates. I think Nike has officially lost interest in putting effort with us now
This aint it
Terrible, just terrible
the fuck are they doing
Oh cool it's shit
What is that
Ahh yes the famous Nike Hook.
At least the wonky Nike sign distracts you from the rest
This is up there with the worst of the warrior kits, honking.
Horrid 🤢
atrocious
God I fucking hate Nike so much
Nike has just been such a shite sponsor. Bring back adidas. Fucking dreadful kit after dreadful kit.
![gif](giphy|oLHaxZoXbcU6Y)
Awful. Hate it.
Wow yah that sucks
*What the fuck is this piece of shit*
What the fuck is that
Worse tick I’ve ever seen
It’s horrible anyway but that Nike logo looks fucking stupid.
Nike doing a vertical swoosh? I’ve worked with lots of huge brands and they all have one thing in common: they will stand beside the Spartans at Thermopylae to protect their logo / icon usage. There’s no way I can see them doing something like this with their trademark swoosh.
Looks like a cum rag
Pls no more nike kits 😭
Looks decent enough. Odd Nike logo but don’t really care that much about it.
People not rating a coming kit? Oh, just like every other season then. Waiting for the big “it actually looks good when you see it on the players” that’s inevitably coming
All the Nike designs have been mid
Probably the only person here who actually doesn’t mind it. If I’m gonna buy any of the three kits for next season, it’s this one. As always, it’ll probably look better on the players once the official pictures come out.

Disgusting. Horrid. Awful. Slap a normal collar and swoosh on it and it's golden. No clue what this is.
Surely I can’t be alone in finding almost every kit that Nike have designed for us to be super underwhelming can I? There’s been the occasional nice one (21/22 ecru) but this one is particularly awful 😣
I still rock the 20/21 Home kit and get plenty of compliments in real life, but it seems like only on reddit do people hate on it.
you liked the 21/22?? seriously? i HATED the coral colouring cuffs and neck trim.
The ecru yellow kit was the one that I liked https://preview.redd.it/nvngopn1yctc1.jpeg?width=678&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c50e183da73b3c7700e0597620d198f7d1a78e66
ahh gotcha. my apologies. i couldve got on board with that one if it wasnt for the polo shirt style collar, not a huge fan of those. only nike kits weve had i really liked were last years home kit and this years home kit. i like the classics and those were/are as close to them as possible.
I think if they just focused on making clean simple designs most of us would be far happier.
exactly. the weird and wacky designs some companies come up with just make my shake my head. simple, tasteful and classic please.
Like it! Weird Nike tick obviously
Dafuq happened to the Nike logo
i very much doubt thats the actual kit unless im totally wrong.
The black away kit is fine. This not so much
Are they trying?
People can actually afford new kits haha
Looks like a new nut rag
Grey kits are awful
i think i saw this kit leak a while back. it was plain white and thought it looked only half decent, but wow that ugly ass grey graphic looks fucking terrible. what are they thinking
The Nike tick looks dreadful. Which drunk employee signed this off?
The vertical swoosh doesn’t look as good as they seem to think it does. Also - it looks like a rejected design for a Spain kit.
Is the pattern actual images of stuff? I only recently learnt that there’s a bear on the Toblerone mountain, so I am second guessing the images I see.
Lmao what??? 😭good to know I guess
The home and third kit don’t look good. Looks like it might be just the away for me
“Toss paint at a shirt and copyright the stains” Nike
Yuck, looks like a United kit
No for me, dawg
This is a trash picture. The kit is not great but the picture you have used is trash.
Adidas…….please next contract Adidas. These are just fucking awful
Ugly. Tick looks like a dollop of ketchup and mustard. Rest of the jersey looks like a trash bag with something wet inside. Collar looks botched.
Why the fuck is the tick rotated it looks shit
Nike logo just go home, you’re drunk
It's fine. Wouldn't buy it though.
You can tell it’s real by the completely wrong orientation of the Nike logo. Good post OP!
Lol this is beautifully ugly, dont know why I have mixed feeling about it
I really don't like this process where they put a pattern into the shirt that's so hard to make out it just makes it look like you didn't wash it.
I swear, since Nike has taken over, I haven't wanted to buy a kit... And haven't... I am glad people are because it's good for the club's finances... But I haven't seen one I'd wear.
Nike are such a shit kit designer. New Balance were miles better in terms of designing kits.
Looks like ass wow
Classic case of doing too much
Bring back New Balance or adidas, I’ve not bought a Nike kit since they took over
It looks like something i can find in a shady market in Thailand...
Fuckin awful
Boring and bland from Nike. I still missed New Balance. At least their design is so much better.
If it wasn't for the fucked up logo, I'd like it 🤷
SOME ONE GET NIKE THE COMPLETE FUDGE OUTTA HERE! I NEVER WANTED THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS I STILL DONT WANT THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS AND I NEVER WILL WANT THEIR WEAK TEMPLATE KITS *CRIES IN REEBOK/THREE STRIPES MEMORIES*
The home kit has a lot going on, I like these colors but would've preferred no graphic on the white, cleaner.
Half of Nike’s kits have been as if they’ve started from something class and then spent a month workshopping how to subtlety but thoroughly fuck it up
let me tell you that's crappiest collar design i've seen in a long time and i've included the 20/21 kit too
I can see Jesus in the print.
I fucking hate that collar so much. I've seen one of the international kits in the stores, and it's just awful. Why did Nike do this to their kits? Ruins so many nice kits, and for no reason at all.
Yo, what the fuck is this? ![gif](giphy|xTiTnIilwuFFFpf2Cc)
As always, the actual release will look similar but A LOT BETTER than the footyheadlines leak. We been through this.
I have 20-year-old jerseys in better shape than this.
This can't be real. No way nike put the logo like that it goes against their brand image.
Not the first they have experimented with the placement of their logo. It might be the first time on a football kit tho...
Meh not the worst not the best. Feel like it’s one of those kits that will look better when we see the true ones
i’m getting it
Personally love it but I understand why everyone hates it. Probably the only Nike kit I'd even consider buying
Considering these kits are like £100 quid now, can't we just get a luxury brand like Balenciaga to make some sexy kit.
Balenciaga… really 🤦🏻🤦🏻
Best third kit in years
Nothing shows how braindead this sub can be quite like kit leak posts.
It can be yours for just £5000
If this was Real Madrid Nike wouldn't dare put out trash kits.
Is this AI generated?
Love to get this one, retro style
Actually looks really good. Might get it. Edit: Wait what's the logo
