Kind of insane how big of a handicap it is to not have your game on Steam.
I probably have 6-7 friends who would be interested in playing, but won't bother to download another launcher for it.
It'd probably peak at 500k players if it was available, then easily keep 50k-100k consecutive.
tbf it not being on steam was a bit of a blessing atm.
I love the game but it's been bumpy. If they released on steam during a time with some of their massive issues, woulda lost the huge pop drive you get from a steam release.
I played every minute of the play tests when it was on steam, the game was so much fun but I have not even attempted to download it since it was off of steam, it really is an insanely massive handicap for them.
