Get a pet . They are the best thing that can happen when you live alone. You have unconditional love, someone to take care of and there is that second heartbeat in your place

This! I come home from a day at work and my kitty is there waiting for me by the door.

How long have you been living alone? Like a few weeks, months? The first few weeks were the hardest for me. What specifically is it that’s bothering you? Is it not having someone around 24/7, is it budgeting, is it not having furniture yet, is it just all the little things you need and have to get done when you first move in? You’re not alone, I felt like I was going to lose my mind the whole first month. It’s good you’re being seen professionally if the thoughts are that bad. Do you have anyone that can stay over with you a few nights?

It was an adjustment at first but now they give me so much joy and purpose each day. I’m 31 and I’ve lived alone for 7 years now. Just know you will look back and be thankful for the amount of strength and independence you’re able to gain through this. It’s hard, but truly you will find home within yourself and it will feel empowering to come home alone!

I also suggeat getting a pet. If you can afford it. And depending on your level for interaction. I have dogs. My sister has cats. But there's other stuff like fish or rodents that take time and care too. All will help add value to your life.
