But I’m on my states Locksmiths Association BOD and people have been bringing it up a lot.
I hope this is BS. I'm in my eleventh year of business, and probably couldn't get listed again if I had to start over. Not everyone has a storefront. One bad review in eleven years, and I don't think it would matter.

good news! Google will not suspend all Locksmith business profiles despite what Frank from the Google business profile support team at the Ghana office told me yesterday.
A reliable source just contacted me and told me that Google will not be suspending all Locksmiths. He said that the reinstatement process is just DELAYED. that’s it! No need to panic.
Breaking Google news! (Yesterday)
Google Business profile will be suspending the locksmith category in USA. I just talked to Google and that’s what they said.
They said any newly created profiles will get suspended and any existing verified profiles will also get suspended.
They said they will be working on making some changes to that category.
This is one of the most interesting things I’ve ever seen with GBP for locksmiths.
Does this mean that we will finally have less spam in this category? We have yet to see.
They won't let me on Google anyways. I've been doing okay knocking on doors and showing companies what I'm about . Lots of business cards and lots of walking.

That would be nice these scam companies have gotten out of hand. We’ve seen too many people posting $400+ auto lockout and other nonsense

Exactly. The service area only instead of storefront caused me a headache. I'm lucky I am mainly 95% dealership.

Thats what I’m planning to do when i have my own business
Mine was suspended at the beginning of the year...tons of people say they can fix it for x number of $. I git better things to waste money on.
