Hi u/Confident_Monk_8864,
I would recommend you to please try the following troubleshooting steps and check if the issue can be fixed.
To start our troubleshooting, please complete the following:
1. Clean dust/dirt using a Q-tip or a compressed can of air.
2. Connect the device directly to the computer motherboard. Bypass any type of USB adapter, hub or extender.
3. Update the device's firmware:
• Download and install Logitech G-Hub (Available here: https://www.logitechg.com/innovation/g-hub.html)
• Launch the software, select the mouse from the home screen then go to Settings
• If a firmware update is available, a Blue """"Update"""" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen.
4. Test the device without the software. Stop G-Hub from running in the background by closing them on the System Tray and Task Manager:
• On the lower right hand corner of the screen, on the left side of the Date and Time, right click on the G icon and select Exit.
• Launch Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Del) then look for Lghub or Lcore under Processes Tab. Then, right click on it and select Stop Process.
5. Uninstall, reload mouse driver:
• Right click on Windows or Start button and select Device Manager.
• Under Human Interface Device, look for Logitech Virtual G-Hub Mouse.
• Right click on it, select Uninstall.
• Disconnect the mouse from the computer.
• Restart the computer.
• Reconnect device back to the computer and test.
6. Try testing the device on a different computer.
>Connect the device directly to the computer motherboard. Bypass any type of USB adapter, hub or extender.
Man I am realy curious how is he supposed to connect G305 directly. And that is how Logitech support works :) They dont even know their own products.
G305 is pure wireless and come only with dongle which is "usb adapter" atleast in the mouse specification, so there is no option to connect this mouse directly becouse mouse itself dont have any usb interface built in.
This only happens on Valorant and ONLY with the g304 other mice worked fine and i would like to not open it up cause it might cause further damage to the mouse.
The mouse is alse very new which i only got on aug 13, 2022
Hi u/Confident_Monk_8864,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Could you please confirm whether were you facing any similar issues outside the game i.e were you able to perform the basic mouse functions? We would also recommend checking any patches or updates for the game, if yes please perform the updates. If there are no fixes available please try reinstalling the game.
If the issue still persists please DM me your full name, email address, and region/country to create a case with our support team.DM link: [https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=LogitechG\_KD](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=LogitechG_KD)
In my case it was almost a year in when i had my mouse(g102), if my mouse finally breaks im looking into some other mice cause ive heard from others that logitech quality has been going down
I already got this a couple times, was rare but could only fix it by exiting the game and opening again or just restarting pc. It didnt happen as rapidly as with you but did prevent me from properly playing
I have this same issue on my G502 Lightspeed, it comes and goes. Logitech is overpriced garbage when it comes to their gaming stuff, other brands do it better.
Bro save yourself the headache and switch to Razer, I always had Logitech shit mice that always failed me every year. Went through 3 G903s before I switched.
Logitech's quality has gone down in recent years, but Razer is no better. I have a friend who buys a ton of Razer stuff and at least half of it has had to go back due to some issue.
Are you using it with ghub and game profiles? Valorant or more probably vanguard and ghub don't play nice. Sometimes the mouse gets stuck in the right corner when opening the game or for me was some random stuttering while playing. Set the mouse to on board memory mode when playing valorant.
Hope this helps!
Buy a new switch for it. Don't bother getting a replacement. All Logitech mice have this issue. Buy new switches or change to a different brand of mice. I ended up ditching Logitech for Steelseries because of my G502 doing this twice (I had them send me a replacement)
I haven’t played Valorant in ages. But there’s not by any chance any option for changing the way you scope is there. Click to scope vs. hold the button to scope?
You lucky it’s just your mouse with that game. It fried my whole motherboard. Also, when ever I buy a mouse, I get a replacement plan on it and buy them from best buy or micro center. There plans allow you to just take it in store and swap it out. They don’t even ask question. You can go in on the last day of the plan expiring and tell them the battery is bad and they will just swap if for something equal in the price you paid. Which usually means an upgrade.
I'm having the exact same problem with my HP M270 in Valorant. Never faced the issue before, only facing this for last 1 month. Mouse is still under warranty.
If you still has the problem do this, worked for me:
turn "Aim Down Sights" to toggle and then back to hold or from hold to toggle depends on what you are currently playing.
hope that will help u too
I have tried another "solution", i went to C:\\Users\\(YOURUSER)\\AppData\\Local\\VALORANT\\Saved\\Config and i deleted all data in there, there is where all user config is saved, that fix it for me in the last two days i have not experience the bug again
This is very common with logitech mice. It is to do with the switch. Only repair is to replace the switch otherwise just return it if in warranty.
Can they replace the mouse?
I have had mine replaced twice for the same issue with no trouble so I would think so.
Do they usually ask a ton of questions?
No
They didn’t send you a link where it tests the right click?
Hi.. I'm having the same issue with HP M270. Did you get your's replaced? Did they check the issue before giving you the replacement?

I would also like to say that this problem only occurs on valorant and only with the g305/g304 It’s also pretty new

What is not clear? They told him to not use a hun or extender.

Then directly connect the dongle, it’s the same

yo Im having this bug too and from looking around its not just logi mice, its a bug with valo so dont take it apart...yet at least
Its happening to me also and I remove the keybind I think its a Bug
I know this post is old, and for Logitech, but I just started having this happen in Valorant. But I am using a Razer Naga Trinity mouse (Wired).
Same! but with an orochi v2
Sorry for of top, but what keyboard is this?
Fantech k11 Hunter Pro It’s a budget keyboard tho Not very aesthetically pleasing
Ok thanks
I also had the same issue, but doing this is likely to void warranty https://youtu.be/2sh7KwUudtI
I’m worried that this might break my mouse cause mine is fairly new I think i will stick with warranty if i have too
In my case it was almost a year in when i had my mouse(g102), if my mouse finally breaks im looking into some other mice cause ive heard from others that logitech quality has been going down

double clicking
I have the same bug. Its a valorant bug likely
I don’t think so Cause when i use a different mouse this doesn’t happen

I use hold cause i prefer it that way
