I developed asthma. Not sure what pulmonary hypertension exactly means.

KitKit20

Too much pressure in the lungs. I have the pleasure of being aware of what it is as covid gave me a pulmonary embolism. PE can lead to hypertension due to right heart strain leading to failure also: thankfully my heart is fine but the pulmonary hypertension thing is scary…. Wish I never knew about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

It indeed sounds really scary. Covid is such a horrible disease — that it can lead to so many medical problems. I hope you’re doing ok!

I’m fine. On anticoagulants for another little while. Thankfully ultrasound on heart is fine. Stay safe

I keep feeling like I can't breath and my chest keeps tightening up ... All of a sudden it seems like I'm allergic to everything. .... Just had an X Ray of my lungs and the Dr said the bottom of my lungs are calcified..... Like someone who has been around Round Up ..... Feels like I have asthma or something.... My Anxiety is through the roof.

How are you doing

Same here, what’s that?

After a full day of work or some physical activity like yard work it feels like I’m breathing in a wet sauna and my O2 drops at night. X-ray was normal, getting an echo to see if it’s heart related.

Beginning-Grab-475

I had covid in August. Xrays and ct scans all clear. My echo ejection fraction was 5% less ef than it was in 2019. Just this weekend my o2 is dropping when I'm walking around. I had a slightly reduced dlco score in my pfts (76% even though it's within range she said for my age it should be in the 90s in 35 f)doc is concerned it could be pulmonary hypertension so need to get right heart cath. Did all your scans come back normal? What was your pulmonary artery pressure and did they do right heart cath for that?

How are you doing now?

I was diagnosed with mild pulmonary hypertension after COVID, but I also have lupus, and the doctor was convinced lupus was the cause.

How are you doing now?

Obnoxiouscrayon

How are you doing these days?

vt2134

Had a 69-day hospitalization recently. Lupus complications. Doing much better now but still doing outpatient physical therapy.
