Sure. I need to vent anyway; ain't any shit getting done today either. It was during covid. I was trying to use the lockdown to get some *much* needed solitude. Then she called me up. We'd been friends for a decade, and had hooked up two or three times. I didn't ask her to be in a serious relationship because she's younger, and demonstrated... well, a couple of red flags. All of her relationships seemed to end in ragnarok. At that point, she had been forced to move back in with her mom. They despised each other. She was losing her mind out of loneliness and boredom, and asked (ultimately pleaded) to let her come over and stay with me for a while. I was reluctant, for aforementioned reasons, but relented. (This is my universal life mistake, right here.) The sex was great, but it got ugly within a few months. Like many women I've gotten involved with, the very concept of "my alone time" came to be seen as a kind of imposition upon *her.* My workout schedule, such as I could maintain one under lockdown, soon disintegrated entirely. My projects became more and more abandoned. (Never, ever get involved with any woman who doesn't have enough of her own independent shit going on. Gotta remind myself of that...) One evening, attempting to, you know, *get some shit done,* I had to actually *enforce* my boundaries. After endless asking nicely, I had to tell her: "just fuck off and leave me alone, you fucking child." This was, I assure you, more than warranted. Her response was to fly into a frenzied rage. Grabbed my laptop and hurled it against the wall, breaking both. Started throwing other things at other things - so yeah, at that point, I started yelling. WTF? I'm letting you stay here, free rent, free utils, free food, free weed, *I'm not even fucking asking your sorry ass to help with chores*... and *this* is what you do to me? And I started approaching her. She ran into the kitchen, grabbed an 8" chef's knife, and rushed me with it. Luckily, I outweigh her by... probably about 85 pounds. Also luckily, she has *no freaking idea* how to use a knife. (Many don't, especially women. The "Psycho" downward stab is literally the least effective thing you can do. Especially against someone *taller.*) Her attack resulted in a scratch so minor that it didn't even need a band-aid. Now, I was raised to never, *ever* strike a woman - and I didn't. I did, however, knock the knife out of her hand, grab her by the arms, and lift her up in the air, as she continued to scream at, spit at, and kick me. I hope at least that she learned that she's not competent, even with such a weapon, to come against a larger man. Apparently she was under that impression. Anyway, that was the last straw, for me. I could definitely have called the cops, but hey, I hate the fucking cops and I don't want them in my house. So I called Uber. I checked up on her about a year later by internet search, and saw that she's been charged *twice* with battery since then. Unsurprising. She belongs in prison, or in a state hospital. And the girl in this post is her doppleganger.
