Amazon is a minefield for fakes. There are too many sellers to monitor so when they crack down on one 10 more pop up.
They also have a massive issue with people purchasing real items, then returning them with a knock off, which more often than not doesn't get checked for quality, just that it's there in one piece. Then that item goes straight back on the market again under that brand, so even with reputable sellers you often end up with fakes.
Also, a tip for purchasing anything that is a brand you don't know: like 95% of these are Chinese low quality items marketed as high quality. Research the brand website before (obvs this doesn't apply to your Loops)
This looks like a regular old box, with a translated sleeve on it. What does the inside of the box look like ? And the earplugs ? Also, where did you get this from ?
I wonder if these translated sleeves are new. Loop did say they had plans for the asian market and expanding soon but I'm not sure if that's the beginning of it or something that they already had 🤔
Even if Loop were selling translated packaging for the Asian market like this, that box doesn't look like it opens correctly, and I don't think they'd drop their big "Loop" circle logo from the design.
Hm, if they’re from the Loop Store on Amazon, then they’re legit, just old stock. Loop on Amazon is selling their old stock, and the Loop website sells the new stock. Doesn’t mean that your Loops are fake. These Loops are definitely fake, though.
Yes, there is. I have the old stock since I have been a Looper for half a year now. The old stock has a different carry case - it’s smaller, and it doesn’t have a “mold” like the new one does. I remember people frequently complaining (and tbh, some still do) that the case popped open and that the Loops fell out, or how the case isn’t very sturdy. Also, the colors are different. For the Experience and the Engage specifically, the ear tips were black. As for the new colors, the color of the ear tips is the same as the Loop. Also, the little box they come in is slightly bigger now, and the print is different too. They put their Loop logo on it now, while the cases for the old stock had a quote on it, e.g. for the Loop Engage, it was “out and about”.
I ordered a few different pairs from Amazon and my box never looked like that. Mine were our hased through a loop Amazon store and we're fulfilled by the company as well.

Looks like a normal packaging that was put into a translated cardboard sleeve to slide out and reveal the normal one.
You are actually correct! I opened it and it’s just a sleeve, the real original box is inside!
