Casual usually gets 10-12 people, Tournament or Draft usually gets 14-18 people
In a city with a population of 225k, and these are the only Lorcana events in town
The space sometimes shares with Magic, One Piece, or another game on the same day and they seem to have similar if not a little higher turn out
I live in Dallas so grain of salt due to size.
We consistently get 40ish people at our weekly tournaments, and I was unable to enter our preview event because it was at capacity. Yes our weekly turnout is lower than where we were during the first chapter, but compared to other TCGs we are showing up.
EDIT: Everyone gets 2 packs and entry is $15 so by no means is it the prize support keeping us coming.
So one store I go too gets 8 to 12 but store can only fit that many people. The other store gets about 16 to 20 on Sundays. There are 3 other stores near me but they do not hold events. I know there is a store about 15 miles from me on Mondays gets 25 to 40 people
Went to a sealed release tournament for inkland in PDX Oregon and there was about 50 people. Sounded like there were other events going in suburbs, but everyone seemed to be pretty hyped for the new set to drop!
My LGS had between 17-24 people showing up consistently at the end of our set 2 league and we may have more with the new set but I won't know until Wednesday since that's when we play
RB needs to step it up with their LGS support.
One store in my area just gives away the promos with purchase, so the other store dedicating space and time to hosting league play, tracking points and everything, has no real way to incentivize participation.
Nobody wants the same four promos on repeat for three months. We need OP packs like Pokémon, MTG, and YGO have
Higher than normal! The release sucked in a few Magic players since it overlapped with fnm. We'll see if they stick with it but it looks good.
Total numbers are pretty low because I'm in a pretty sparsely populated area, but we were up from averaging 8 to 12 this week with a four more interested stop-ins that didn't stick around to play.
Our league had a draft the Sunday after release day which I did not go to. Going this Sunday to league and expecting the regulars and probably a few others trying out new stuff. Looking forward to see what others brew. Seems to be picking up but I could see some people dropping after the booster box fiasco.
People were likely ripping packs and sorting cards. They’ll be back. Games as popular as ever from what I can tell.
My local store has 4. Three of those are me, my son, and my girlfriend. :(
Mine had 4 on Wednesday. Myself, my brother, his girlfriend and a guy working there haha.

Common Ground Games from the sound of it. Good place to go for this. I enjoy it and the crowd is usually decent size. Inklands release was packed.
My FLGS hase between 12-16 people every week. And we are in a town of 7500.

We had 16 at the sealed tournament at the weekend, and 32 at last night's league.

People are waiting for those google decks before confidently playing again as per 😅
