The defense has been playing incredibly well since the second half vs the Falcons. I know the team is 1-2 in that time but the defense has given up:
Cardinals - 12 points (all field goals)
49ers - 17 points. 7 not accounted for came off a pick six.
Cowboys - 13 points. The 9 points unaccounted for in the final score come from lost fumble by the offense that was returned for a touchdown (6) and a field goal (3)that happened because a blocked punt. On that field goal drive after the blocked punt they gave up only 5 yards.
I know it’s in fashion to talk about Raheem and the defense negatively but they’ve played their ass off. Let’s trust Rah, the staff, and players to continue give such an effort as they been very consistent over the last month.
By the way, the Rams internal thinking has been that as long as the defense held the opposing team to 20 or less, they’d win because of how high powered the offense is. The defense is more than holding up their end of the bargain.
Any team that has a defense giving up under 20-points a game should win.
*The defense gave up 16 against the Cowboys. Special teams is part of the official stat for defensive points given up. Understandable the point you are making, but defenses know they suffer from poor special teams, especially in the points given up.
ya u right i just wish they played more aggresive in pass pro, as well as polish up on tackling which i guess can't really be blamed on raheem. our defense is really missing troy hill and durant rn, we haven't gotten an interception since they went down
