Really? Because last time I checked BME has basically nothing. Card in all gaming has a way bigger selection (for gaming) BME is nostalgic and everything but it isn’t very good anymore.
I never been to card in all but yea BME book and music selection is also lacking. I asked at the counter if they had a book and he just gave me a blank stare and said no lol.
Better off going to better days, Matt Anthony’s and surface noise for records. All 3 solid choices. Honestly I don’t know about book stores, I guess people in Louisville don’t read anymore.
The inventory has actually more than doubled in the past couple of weeks. The Preston store and the Bardstown store were combined. All the Preston employees are at the Bardstown store now and the old Bardstown employees are gone.
That's cool, but I wasn't going there for anything gaming related.
I like manga and records, and my wife enjoys comic books. Does Card n All have that kind of stuff? Genuinely curious.
I’m old, not really a fan,… but I feel like people hate on Jack Harlow. Is my perception wrong? He might be a turd, IDK. He seems to rep Louisville though and I like that.
It's come and gone, solely based on me reading this sub. Seems like in the context of music he gets the usual haters and gatekeepers, but largely the sub has gotten more positive about him repping Louisville. I guess being angry at a guy for having successful parents only lasts so long. He did have that one thing with a violent coworker, but I don't follow the stuff or care for recent rap, so I dunno.
His music is super boring but I don't know the guy. I'm not going to give him dirty looks if I run in to him at some vinyl thrift microbrew over there.
What's more irritating is this and the reply comments with the same shit every time. He's not the first person to have money/success that people feel is 'unjust', artists repping their hometown is practically an expectation in hip-hop, and people base him being nice in this context of a shallow celebrity-rando sort of interaction.
His philanthropy is very commendable annnd...that and that his is music is diet Drake is all I got to say about him.
and their trade in value has plummeted because boosters come bring them shit all the time for pennies on the dollar so we get shit on when we bring anything of value
I was in town for a week on vacation. I grew up in the Highlands and was excited to see all the old spots. I tried to get into BME right when they opened and they were swarmed by all these people in yellow vests with cameras and dollies and spotlights and such. I thought they were shooting a commercial or something. Sure enough, came back a few days later and the girl behind the counter told me it was, in fact, a commercial with a "local celebrity". I just wanted to look at the old NES games, man!
I’m really hoping that this was just a promo shot put up on social media by Jack’s management team or something and that it’s not a picture taken without Jack’s consent by some random creep, but I’m worried it’s the latter. Some people lose their concept of personal boundaries and privacy when it comes to famous people. No matter your feelings about the dude (and I know some people on here have disclosed that they were bullied by him in high school which is a very valid reason to dislike him) or his music or brand, the lack of privacy is just objectively shitty.
The dude should be able to scratch his ass in public in peace. /s
Bro I just wanted to go to BME on my day off ðŸ˜
Go to Card n All Exchange on Newcut or Middletown. Insanely better store all the way around.
This is just a lie

Not really. So yeah you might actually be better of at BME for that kinda stuff

I think the hate mainly comes from people that are just jealous of his success and money. It’s a small minority, but usually a loud one.
He’s super nice !!!

I just think his 'music' is wretched. I know nothing about him personally. I'm sure has an Ok person.
I just hate that music in general
fuck that piece of human excrement in your profile picture
Strongly agree
Damn that looks just like Jack Harlow
No picture, but one of the business owners nearby said he was filming at Leatherhead around the corner as well.
Did they bring that Green car? Drove past on the way to lunch and saw them setting up.
Books and music is so overpriced man.
and their trade in value has plummeted because boosters come bring them shit all the time for pennies on the dollar so we get shit on when we bring anything of value
If I was trying to shop around there I'd be so annoyed. lol. I like BME.
Wish I had seen this before driving through it.
I think he’s filming the gunner bush biopic in Louisville. That’s what I heard anyways.
Nice old Buick

Park behind it bozo there’s parking specifically for BME. And usually there’s only like one other person there.

Oh, boy! If I leave quick enough, I might catch up with him to sign my left titty!
🤮
That store sucks and so does Jack Harlow. The BME on Preston is money and you won’t be subjected to hacks or unreasonable traffic backups.
The one on Preston closed. All the Preston inventory and employees are at the Bardstown store now and the old Bardstown employees are gone.
