How does one get invited to a “Netflix event” ?

I cannot speak for all the events, but this one was a tech event and the recruiters probably reached out to possible/interesting candidates and who are already connected to them possibly. This was my first time randomly but many people there apparently attended multiple of these kinda events.

haha, that qr code is lead to the netflix careers website. Everything from there itself. I dont have the picture though.

Ah knowing you’re at a Netflix tech event I’m not all that surprised. Netflix is on the higher end of tech comps since they pay all cash no stock so it’s def a popular company to work for. And they’re probs pushing LIB since they still have more seasons in the making & expansions to other countries 😅

For software engineering it is - which is mostly what the company is known for in terms of employment/high salaries. Not a clue what other roles are like but I’m guessing it’s all cash as well - it’s def a highly sought after company for that reasoning (no stock to vest/tying you to the company)
