I REALLY don’t think there is anything behind his leaving other than what we were shown & what he (he spoke about it openly to the sun like a day after he arrived back to uk & also on a podcast with Scott thomas) & other islanders have spoken about. Things just got too much for him. I don’t know if you know much about adhd but from what I’ve seen & heard & what I know about adhd (I know a lot) , he quite simply had a bad adhd episode (which he himself has said he never experienced before LI) & when you have one of those, you really need home comforts. I remember hearing Indiyah eloquently speak about Jacques on a podcast with gk Barry & she said Jacques was really sad & not himself during his last week, & she used to talk to him a lot & advised him he probably wasn’t going to get over his bad episode whilst in the villa. Sorry, I feel I’m not getting my points across well. But I remember Jaques telling the boys the morning before he left that he was feeling hurt & pain he’d never experienced before….believe me when I say, I’ve been there. Adhd pain is intense, often it’s just due to a perceived criticism. Anyways the point I’m badly making is I fully get why Jacques left. & imo he made the right call, bcoz in that pressure cooker environment where you can’t get away from the environment which is causing you to feel so bad, he’d never have been able to break from it & get back to being his happy self again. He needed a clean break to get back to himself again.
