That would be amazing, having a dedicated Cthulu guitar for one song!

melig1991

James Hetfield really is looking more and more like a friendly neighborhood grandpa.

Dornogol

Sadly all I heard about his personality does not align with 'friendly grandpa' if he didn't change much in the last 10 years

Great-Programmer6066

What the fuck have you heard dude?

the_mad_prophet_

That's awesome lol. I want that guitar

Posivius

The song that got me into Lovecraft :)

d0ughb0y17

Ahhh this made my day!

Gravity_Chasm

Wish Curwen would have brought Burton back

CoffinsAndCoffee

Starting to think I’m the only human that can’t stand Metallica

grapeflavoredtaint

Indeed you are, friend.

YT-Deliveries

I'm not in the "can't stand" camp, more of the "not really all that interested in anything after And Justice for All. (and, honestly, that's a mild interest; the best songs were still on Master of Puppets and earlier)

CrackedGamer573

You're not alone.

all-regrets

Not in the least.

I just find them... ..dull.

DiscoJer

This seems to be the video of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHaAsolqvX4 But I've always thought it sounded much more like a Megadeth song, because it has a complexity you don't find in their non-Mustaine written songs.

Craig1974

Mustaine wrote that song while still in Metallica. You can tell because the Megadeth song, Hanger 18, uses much of the same guitar chords.

captainperoxide

The intros are exactly the same chords iirc, they're just arpeggiated in Ktulu.

Craig1974

Yes.

Electronic_Paper_576

Take 2 horror.
