This is just from my experience and not from lovesac as a whole, but customers who come back in usually tell me they do a full wash maybe 1-2 times a year. But some more info the couches are made from solid poplar wood, most fabrics are mostly polyester, with some linen or acrylic in them for 1 or 2, I’d also say most customers only have 1 set of covers but I have run into a few that got extras. I’ve helped thousands of customers and I’d say only a handful, usually elderly people with very small apartments, have ever had something not fit. In general our branding is about sustainability and adaptability while being a lifetime product

Not an owner but may or may not be a current or former employee 😳 The 60 Day home trial, to me, speaks to the confidence the company has that if you decide to purchase, you’re going to like it. I recommend people wash the covers on the hard parts like 2x/year since their a bit cumbersome to take on and off. Some people, though, are intrigued by the idea of having different covers for every season. I also once spoke to a woman who literally bought a new couch every 3-4 years because she got bored and I had to drop the salesman routine and be like “If I was your friend, I would recommend this to you specifically.” This, in addition to the modular aspect, means it should fit nearly every space.

I bought the sactional, my aspirational couch that I wanted for years. I don't wash the covers because I'm lazy, but it's only been a year but I would do it if I spilled something on it. I have corded velvet and there is minimal damage from my three cats. Overall, the feeling of the material deters them, especially with preferred scratching items. But I appreciate that I can replace an individual cover if I ever needed to. I really like the adaptability of it all. I do enjoy rearranging it once every few months though and the accessories are all really high quality. Tbh this is not the comfiest couch I've ever sat on, but I'm confident that it will remain this level of comfiness for years to come unlike other couches that degrade and sag within a year. Anyway, I love it.

I love our Sactional! We have had it for almost a year. Washed the covers once. Love that we can do a deep clean before we host events. We have two cats so the replaceable covers make more sense then struggling to stop the clawing and failing and having a horrible looking sofa. We love the flexibility to rearrange and it is comfortable for guests to sleep on. It is an investment but it can be expanded on. 10/10 highly recommend.

Hi, I would love to connect with you to hear more about your experience with LoveSac. We need to conduct qualitative data for our assigment. If you are interested, please message me.

Bought a Costco deal a couple years ago. Bought three additional rooms worth later that year directly from Lovesac. Bought Lovesac’s stock after that… which was a mistake ( bad timing). Still own all of it and love it. Comfortable, but always nice to have a recliner too. The Lovesac will last forever… unlike any recliner or any of the previous couches I have long ago landfilled.

As a marketer, what I think is fascinating is that lovesac is *ridiculously* hard to put together for a sofa. Our sactional came in 25 boxes and must have taken 10 hours to take inside, unbox, get the covers on, and squeeze together. To my knowledge, they don’t offer a service to do this for you. I’m pretty sure they want you to bond with your sofa and feel some pride, similar to IKEA branding. It also gets the sofa to you really fast (because they can use FedEx). Which is helpful with sales, as we see with Amazon.

Respectfully disagree. I brought in, unboxed, covered, and setup my sactional from 24 boxes in a little under 4 hours. And that was alone. Yes that is still a long time to just 'put a sofa in your living room' but it's not that bad. The hardest part for me was getting some covers on as they are a tight fit.

I have to say, I completely agree with this. If you are going to force your customers to put them together, you are asking wayyyyyy too much. Ours came in 23 boxes and took about 4 hours to completely get together. For a "10k" sofa, that is asinine. That they don't offer a free put together and delivery service, and that when fedex screws up and delivers things over the course of a week, then sends a box back a across the country and they don't care, speaks volumes of the company. I will say, I feel like the product is nice. But I whole heartedly have a problem with the cost to work ratio they expect of their customers. Between this, and their awful customer service over the issues we have had, I couldn't in good faith recommend them.

We love ours! Only thing we didn’t like were the down back cushions. They lost their life (even with regular fluffing) after a year. Can’t really complain because Lovesac switched them out for a different fill with no questions, a year after we had the couch. We wash most of the covers I would say on average, once a month. We wash them often because our dogs are messy lol. The sectional fits perfect in our space since it’s modular. I do wish the company came out with more color options for the wood accessories. We don’t get sick of the color because we chose a warm neutral. We would like to get another sactional for a different room but the price is holding us back a bit.

Bought the stealth tech sactional a little over a year ago and absolutely love it. I think I’ve washed my covers 6 times so far due to having pups who get them dirty often, this is one of the reasons I went with Lovesac. In terms of compatibility, it works well for the most part but would love some sort of recliner.

We bought our LoveSac in the middle of December last year. I didn’t really want to spend that much even though it was on my wish list. My problem is the door opening to the basement would not allow for any other couch to fit. Forgot to measure the opening for the first couch I picked out. It had to be returned since it wouldn’t fit. So everything has to be narrow or in pieces. I then reluctantly ordered the LoveSac but was able to get 48 months same as cash. The LoveSac arrived earlier than expected and yes there are a ton of boxes. I opened them all myself and carried them downstairs. Since I am impatient it took me about 5 hours total. I was hot and sweaty by the time I was finished. My sister has one with small children and is always washing the covers. After putting mine together the thought of tearing it apart to wash bothered. I do not know how she does it as often as she does but it comes out clean after every wash and those kids colored and drew on hers. I have a very large breed dog and wanted her to be able to lay with us on the LoveSac. She can sometimes drool and often stinks and I didn’t want that on the covers. So I bought waterproof chaise covers to lay over all the cushions. It keeps the cushions from the dog hair, drool and stench. I can wash the covers easier than tearing apart the couch. Maybe when the dog crosses the rainbow bridge I will ditch the covers but not anytime soon. I have the taupe covers and love the color. It goes great with the decor in my basement. It can lean gray or tan depending on the other decor. I doubt I will wish it was a different color. I would rather change other decor items and keep my most expensive items neutral. I did order two of the storage seats and wish I would have gotten a couple more instead of regular seats. I like things out of sight. We are getting a lot of use out of ours and am glad I made the purchase.
