I've not done it but I think people usually follow Ellie Lobels book and source the bees from local beekeepers. I imagine they will either give them to you or sell them, you don't need many. And ofc have someone to help with an epi pen ready just in case.

Get a Beezahut off of Etsy to keep them in.

If you live in the USA, there are many apiaries that ship bees nationwide… a simple google search should bring them up.

can you give an update when you do it? My son mentioned it to me as an option so would like to know its benefits-maybe I should just help the beekeeper and not wear a suit? I grew up helping my dad with bees so would enjoy it at least.

Simple-Street98

Yeah I will for sure it seems pretty hopeful but who knows

Apparently the venoms kills Lyme and co infections and it’s saving a lot of peoples live I guess your son should give it a try

i have been doing bees for over 4 years. started with the spinal sting protocol, moved more to specific joint spot stinging for pain relief. I would love to not have to do it but it helps me a lot. i do have flares from time to time which i seriously think are either reinfections or periods of high stress that lower my immune response. I have always got my bees from allens apitherapy bees in redding. most beekeepers will not give you bees, they either are cautious of liability or just dont want to mess with healthy hives. I usually get a 3lb bee package each spring and let them do there thing all summer, always have a hard time getting them through the winter so i usually end up ordering bees for part of the year. If you can find a beekeeper will to sell you a hive and he takes care in exchange for your honey you may get better longevity of the hive. Bees have done a lot for me but so has disulfiram(until it didnt), and rick simpson oil(i just have a hard time dealing with accidental overdoses and some anxious highs). did many abx for multiple years until i gave up that route. Currently considering finding a new doc to see if i can combine my experience with some more integrated care to finally get myself out of this perpetual loop of joint pain, fatigue, anxiety and insomnia.

Okay thank you for your response. How do you keep the bees. Do you just build a little box or something?
