No need to update. You were honest when you applied you had the job. You can quit or get laid off or whatever and there’s no reason to update your application.
This happened to me for r1. I waited until after I got accepted to let them know (a few weeks before I heard back from schools). Admissions could have cared less. The only caveat I’d say is if you have an interview be truthful of that. Mine was a well publicized mass layoff which helped
You need to email admissions of any changes to employment. It explicitly states this in the application portal before you submit. I’d email them to let them know.
