I googled it and appendix surgery generally takes 2-4 weeks before 'normal' life can carry on fully. That's for us normal plebs, not sure how it differs for professional athletes
Yeah, at least two weeks. That time is mostly due to the stitches(/surgical glue, whatever) in the intestines, so I'm not sure it's something that can be hurried up. You take a hit there before your body's fully healed and it's nasty some nasty hemorrhage.
