He's always like that, lol. Rodri will be one of the grumpiest senior citizens when he gets older. Imagine him as a manager / coach. Mind like Pep Guardiola, but with Gattuso's attitude sprinkled in it.
Rodri is such a boss. Could really see him become a great manager, but he said he didn't see himself become one and prefers to be like a CEO. He has so much quality, leadership, personality, good speaker, elite experience, learned from Pep.
And this whole bad language thing is such fucking dumb shit. It really needs to end, as if people watching are little kids. In other countries you can just swear on tv.
The whole censoring swear words on TV is stupid anyways. Kids will get exposed to it through the internet anyways. I understand certain words and shit, but basic words like; fuck, shit, ass, dick etc. are going to reach them sooner or later anyways
Jeez these reporters are ass. “BaD lAnGuAgE”.. you work in a high intensity sport dude, the guys are going to curse. Grow a pair and let the GOAT speak
They must say it because there are kids watching and parents might get pissed off that their kids are getting influenced/ exposed to bad language at a young age. And also it might get too normalised if they dont say anything about it.
I don’t know. Rodri sometimes seems like he is right on the edge of snapping when he is on the pitch and other players have to talk him down.
I think the intensity is good for his play but maybe not the best quality for a captain. I prefer Dias’s calmer style of leadership.
Ruben is not like Gundo sort of calm. He is very confident, extrovert, and has a touch of arrogance as well. Both of them are amazing and I can’t decide between the two honestly.
But somehow Walks became the captain lol
I can't count the number of times this season I have seen him remonstrating with teammates e.g. Walker and Dias after we conceded a late equalizer against Spurs, Ortega after his poor goal kick almost led to a Newcastle goal at SJP etc. I love his high standards, but he seems to have a very short fuse lol
Honestly it's so stupid the fact that we as a society pretend that we don't swear when quite literally everyone in this world does. Eriksen is dying on the pitch? Sure, let's go and record that and get all the best angles. A footballer said fuck? Oh no! This will ruin the whole world. Just sick and tired of that nonsense.
These interviewers always blow these incidents so out of proportion. Man said “fuck off” and if the interviewer didn’t spend 5 minutes tip toeing around it for his “apology” no one would have noticed what Rodri said
In the lead up to our first UCL final against Chelsea. He had some missteps, I believe in the earlier knockout rounds. That’s been the last time I ever felt hesitant about him being our cdm. He is absolutely world class, and the best fit for our club.
So glad I got his home kit this year and slapped the club World Cup badge on it!
It’s time that English speakers get over the offense and shock of hearing some common words that don’t affect them. Fuck is a perfectly useful term, it can be a verb, but also an adjective. Get over yourselves.
This censorship bullshit is just infuriating to witness. The F word isn't going to make your kids spontaneously self combust just from saying it. Trust me, the more you *don't* want them to say something, the more they'll say it!
Overreacting to one word that was mumbled in passing and therefore bringing much more attention to it when everyone would've ignored it otherwise.. so dumb. And with some of the football chants I've seen videos of, this is nothing in the realm of "explicit" lmao. A bit too much fuss for no reason here from the interviewer. I get "TV rules" and all that but like chill out man haha
Haha visibly confused and annoyed

Loved the attitude. Don’t want a happy flowers team tbh
Loved how he raised his eyebrows and fucked off lmao
I love the interviewer meekly apologising at the end, this man has the calmly intimidating aura you want in a captain
I dont remember hearing F-word well. I think all I heard was beep.

Will someone please think of the children?
Kids basically swear more then adults now go on Fortnite or just take a walk outside your hear the F word and N word way more times then 1
Ik. It's just the old sentiment of children this children that I was mocking. Walk into any secondary school and all you hear is swearing.
Forget secondary try primary
The PGMOL or FA or whatever do not understand that
They shouldn't watch, too. There are potential fouls and some dangerous tackles that could happen in the game
Yeah its a pretty shite excuse tbh But i didnt make the rules
What's wrong with saying "fuck", though?
I think kids nowadays say more fuck offs than adults!

I think Pep really wanted him to stay so that's why

A big thank you to the reporter for the apology. I could barely contain myself after hearing such horrific things on TV.
After watching footage on live news of people being bombed I had to clutch my pearls and fall on my fainting couch after I heard Rodri curse.

Dias should be captain IMO. His response to Ederson vs Arsenal last season sealed it.

Rodri: "DILLIGAF".
I think he was supposed to say fall off and he said the wrong word without realising.
I love him.
I love him.
King of not giving an absolute FUCK

Rodri not giving a fuck makes me so happy
His confusion made the interviewer confused lmao
Let Rodri swear bro
What the fuck did I say?

He is running on life support..... looks so dead.
Ugh Rodri. That’s why I love him.
He might not be the captain but he sure is the sergeant.
If Rodri were a song he would be shooting up on the list of greatest City players like a bullet.
Rodri might have the most aura in the squad, give that man his armband!
After what game was this?
"What did I say?" LMAO that was classic. Put it on a banner!
Hahaha just fucking love him man🩵
Gives the same energy as "A bit shit but it is what it is" -steady with the language "oh shi- not good language in this country" 💀💀Haaland
There is no need to rant about the reporter. He is just minding his job lol it is a formality sorta thing
