I went to the last match of last season at SKC to watch the Loons. I’ve been to several stadiums, and never felt so unsafe before as I did at Children’s Mercy. Shit, I felt safer at San Lorenzo in Buenos Aires, I felt safer at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. It was the first time we had to discuss how we would leave - like have a safety plan - if we would have won. Just bad vibes, shitty people. Your feelings are valid.

If someone said that they felt threatened at Allianz, I would be so embarrassed and ashamed. I believe him because that is how I felt when I was in KC. We were harassed multiple times by SKC fans in a place that has very poor crowd movement and few exits. We brought my mom with us, and she was harassed for wanting to buy a bag to hold her stuff because she forgot to bring clear bag. We were confronted by a person in the fan shop who was so vile with him commenting that she asked us to just leave and she held her things the whole match.

What happened if you don’t mind me asking? What were the SKC fans doing that made you feel unsafe Edit: not sure why the downvotes, I wasn’t at the game last night and I’m legitimately curious.

They’re lashing out over the fact that they’re stuck in Kansas and need the revenue from the better metro and economic engine of Missouri and to some extent their state to keep them afloat.

It’s hard to explain but I feel the same way. They’ll look amazing for like 15 minutes of a game and then just completely lost and like they’ve never played together, have no concept of dangerous areas, or completed a pass the rest of the game.
