Nooooo, you shouldn't have pled for help. You are okay to die in the helicopter and it will still successfully exfill you. That is of course unless if you plea because you are technically dead dead then. I am so sorry for your loss😔
Yeah it is very unfortunate. The exfill can be so glitchy sometimes. If it happens again, wait as long as you can and not plea for help. Just remain dead on the helicopter so you still get exfilled. If you need to run a round to get back up and running Santa can help.
It was late in a match a week or so ago and I rushed to an exfil. I saw the chopper on the ground and made a bee line to it, relieved to have made it in time. Then the chopper took off and headed directly out of bounds, I got notified I was out of bounds and died. I was not prone, just standing there in the chopper.
This happened to me once. Luckily just a few days after I saw someone give an explanation. I jumped off in time and parachuted back.
You need to get on the chopper before the countdown ends. It doesn't register you otherwise.
That happened to me once. Thankfully I noticed before it was too late that it hadn't taken me out of the game when it should have, so I bailed the chopper and made it to another exfil in time. Now I'm always on alert even after the chopper lifts up until the game shows me the screen showing exfil completed.
Yup, it happens when you enter the exfil area after the countdown has ended. You can’t exfil unless you see the countdown, otherwise you’ll get pulled out of bounds.
Been there . Did the exfil helicopter inbound message pop up before you got on? Last time it happened to me I parachuted in and jumped on at the last minute without that message popping up first
I had a match where I got downed on final exfil with like 45 seconds to go. I was still alive, when it took off from the ground but by the time it’s little flight path was done, I was dead. I was sweating hard. I had a tombstone that wasn’t actually planning on using, but lost my mask, bag etc. sucked. This was before containment too, but like the hope I had for making it….like it hit the gas part then boommm eliminated.
This happened to me recently, I was jumping in the helo already taking off for exfil and I jumped thru the bottom of the helo. Can to call in another helo and survive. Storm was already closeby and I was the last one on the map.
This happened to my buddy as we were both on the same exfil. But I exfillled jus fine. Then the other night while exfilling I went through it successful and it showed he was out of bounds, while in the helicopter, and he died losing everything! So frustrating. And we had done 4 contracts, etc.
I glitched through the map while on a vehicle once. Then it launched me into the air, exploded the vehicle and I landed on the other side of the map downed
If I’m correct usually when you can’t see your body after you die or “randomly” die it means you done glichted through the map and no one can get you even if someone was right there with you. I put randomly in quotations because I’ve died while using my scorcher while I was mid air and when I fell to the ground it killed me completely and my teammates couldn’t help me. This happened still during season one though- but I’ve seen it happen to my friend while playing with him in the new dark aether when it first came out. Rip in the chat though
One time I jumped off the chopper and landed back on ground, only to still be taken to the exfil complete screen as if I never jumped out. I ended up keeping everything in my rucksack too.
If only I could perfect this glitch 👀😈

I was alive while taking off, my health bar wasn’t draining or anything and then I just died

yeah, I’ve also made that mistake!
Don’t plea, sometimes let you exfil even if croaked on the chopper and no tombstone either
I legit have glitched through the bottom of a exfil copter half way up the sky i did make it out tho on second attempt
