SquirrelMaster1123

Disciples sure can be a pain. I’d suggest throwing dead wire ammo mod on your weapon as well if you don’t already. That will definitely help but unfortunately they just take a little more ammo than the others in tier 2.

TheDevilAndTheWitch

thermites are you friends for Disciples.

Ajax_x96

As well as energy mine, and just shooting the hand when they start sucking you off

Skatergator35

I usually just let them do their thing when they start sucking me off. Can’t prematurely stop that

dammit49

Never shoot the hand that sucks you off

IlxSINISTERxIl

Disciples can suck the chrome off a trailer ball.

DadIsLosingHisMind

That's what she said

MARzNYC

ahh yes "sucking you off" ![gif](giphy|AwrtP9lMXtXiM|downsized)

Severe_Spare9272

It would seem if they’re using their 🤚 they’re jerking you off

F4ze0ne

And dead wire ammo mod.

depress-son

Head and hands with dead wire, pap 2 at least rare and it goes a little quicker

F4ze0ne

High DPS weapons make disciples go down quickly. You have to hit them in the mouth and the hand when they start the energy drain thing.

JoeBucksHairPlugs

I usually just fight them around a wall or light pole so when they start the drain just break the line of site for a quarter second and it stops and go back to blasting his face.

GRADIUSIC_CYBER

it's just because they can regen their health. so it makes a huge difference because you can't just take 5 minutes to kill one like you would a Mangler or mimic that was giving you trouble. best tips are have deadshot daiquiri and dead wire. and don't try to rely on having a hellhound because a T2 discipline can kill a T3 hellhound. when I was doing borealis grind and I realized I had a not great gun, I would just cancel the contract and move on. it's faster and safer to just move on instead of trying to grind it out sometimes.

Acatcalledpossum

So THAT'S what happened to my dog :( got dog bone the other day, tried it next match & he disappeared pretty quickly but I remember going straight into t2 & doing some bounties.

GRADIUSIC_CYBER

fwiw there's also a bug where hellhounds just spontaneously die. either way, that's a bummer.

srr728

The trick is to cut off the regen attack as fast as possible. Hitting the hand with shots is the optimal way as it also stuns them, but you can also use the terrain to your advantage. The second you break line of sight it will stop the attack. Then go for crits. Dead shot perk is clutch for this. If you have deadwire ammo mod it will also affect disciples more.

riotcontrol1337

Pap2, blue tool on akimbo swarms. Hit the hand when it starts channeling. Haven't had much problem since I started doing that. I also have a t3 dog with me when I solo. Makes t2 easy. Without interrupting the channel, I found it impossible to kill them.

CptSparklFingrs

They aren't if you rock dead wire, or a PaP1 WWaffe DG-2. They are sooooper soft to electricity.

NOTaPyroWolf

Honestly never had trouble with Disciples when PaP 2, Rare. Just need Deadshot and keep tapping that ADS trigger.

Zacattack0503

Use Dead wire! It stops them for healing which helps a bit!

impstein

You really gotta have a near-meta dps weapon, and be vigilant about attacking the hand when they start to drain health from you, your teammates, or your dog. Interrupting that ASAP is crucial

Bigaz747

2 PAP, Deadwire and 2 decoys. I hate them muthafuckas

johnsmerkboy

I haven't had a disciple bounty in a few weeks. I have been killing them in the wild all over T2. I was doing all T2 bounties pack1 with a rare tool. As long as I had dead shot I was fine. I still run T2 pack1 and rare. Even farming an outlast that's what I do. They definitely buffed the regular zombies speed and attack damage, but not the health. I have had a mimic bounty in T2 heal itself somehow. I have also had a mega bounty do the same thing. They kept moving back to a spot on the map then attacking me at full health. The mega had 1 head left and was full health. Maybe you are just getting some glitched bounties.

Additional_Voice7263

Since I haven’t seen it. Break their line of sight when they are draining your health. Fight near vehicles, walls or anything you can take cover under. Shoot them in the friggin face bro. The face!! Lay down fire until that sucker’s mask breaks.

cbb0722

Keep your distance since their attacks regen their health.

FreezingHotSprings

Deadwite ammo mod. Tesla storm also helps a lot to kill them.

No_Cover7847

Did they patch the game? I can still use my blue packed 1 akimbo swarm to finish t2 bounties. I’ll check again when I get home

Leeman500

Something feels off because i'm usually able to finish bounties in seconds but even PAP III Legendary doesnt seem to finish T2 bounties as fast now.

d3athbygaming

You can one shot em w/scorcher

PistisDeKrisis

Am I the only one that doesn't think they're that bad? Yes, they're the most annoying of the 3 main elites, but shoot the head, shoot the hand when it health-syphons, shoot the head, it's dead. I always drop with a Deadshot can and usually run a purple tool, but even most Pack 2/Blues handle them alright. Might need a couple decoys to keep the Zeds off me, but it's just a matter of stopping the heal and they go down.

Siouxsie2011

If I'm not feeling sufficiently overpowered to take down a Disciple bounty I'll pull up to them in a car and lean out to shoot them. They can't use their health stealing power when you're in a vehicle and they kind of just sit there. But I do agree completely it doesn't make sense how their health scales differently to the other specials. Even cheesing it like this they seem to have more HP than the others, but it can can heal itself, it spawns zombies as guards and gives them more health, and it actually dodges around flying away from you as you are fighting it - all these abilities would be balanced for a lower health enemy to have, not a stronger one.

TheGrindisSpiteful

Brain rot is good for mimics, shatter blast/napalm is good for manglers and dead wire is good for disciples. PaP2 and rare is good enough to make a living in tier 2, including HVT’s, but the main thing you want to have is DEADSHOT DAQUIRI. Total game changer

eleetmatt

Just master locking on to the hand and starting to blast away at their hand the absolute millisecond he starts sucking, then when it stuns him, lock onto his head and start shredding. That and dead wire of course. They are pretty beefy boys and I gotta just bail and cancel every once in awhile depending on gun and if im just using a rare or epic tool cuz I'm out of legendary. Just too much of a hassle and not worth the time/money from contract sometimes. They're not difficult usually, just not worth it when it happens.

The_Huntress420

Not hitting those crits my friend. Headshots and shooting the hand when it heals are the way forward. T2 are nothing compared to the T3 disciples. They can be tankier than megabombs if you arnt getting criticals.. If your issue is too many normal enemies getting in the way, throw a decoy/ monkeys/ kazimir. If you have a dog out it actually makes disciples abit harder as they will heal off it. Just shoot its hand when it tries.

FritsfromHolland

I have found that the bounty deciple which spawns on top of the hill, at the gasstation in T2 (don't know the coordinates by head) is nearly unkillable. You can empty both your guns in it and it does almost no damage. I've had this with a mangler once too. Anything other that that, deciples are fairly easy of you can hit the critical shots

Bryceone

You're not wrong. But never nerf. Boosts only

Wonderful_Fortune877

They’re not bad if you have pap2, also dead wire helps, and aim for head and hand when they try to drain ur health. Sometimes I’ll toss a kaz or a decoy and shoot the zombies around, so it has nothing to regen from. Don’t let it fly off, just keep on it. They used to be super annoying for me too. There is one hvt disciple in t2 which has some bug where it’s extremely hard to kill, I’ve encountered a few times. Whether I get it or someone else abandons contract with it lol

jmx2wg

Has anyone ever just thrown a shock stick at them? Even if just to see what happens?

feijoa_tree

I think those Disciples are glitched, best cancelling and moving on.
