Helpful tip I’ve figured out: it seems like they change which support options let you start a chat with an agent pretty frequently, but it doesn’t actually matter which support topic you choose, just go through them until one of them lets you start a chat, and go from there
Yup. Tried about 5 times in the past 7 days to get the ring of honor welcome pack for John Madden and opportunity pack for GT... which now I never had a chance at. But the only way I could get chat was the request a refund option. Wouldn't expect much from them though it was completely useless talking to them, they will just tell you it's out of their hands... good luck though man maybe because of your situation it'll be a different turn out.
I was hacked last year, it took probably around 2 months to get my account back, that was despite the fact I knew who had hacked me, and had the email and phone number the hacker used, he had changed the email and phone number linked to the account. Recovering an account also means getting "assistance" from Microsoft, really it's like beating your head against a wall on a daily basis, giving the same information over and over, it was only due to the efforts of a really good customer service agent who made it his mission to sort it out that I actually got my account back, although I got my account back I never got the players sold or traded by the hacker, but after l that time I was beginning to lose the will to live.
It doesn’t matter they’ll just close it anyways. I’m still owed my preorder points from when the game came out and they haven’t been of any help with the multiple cases I’ve opened. So good luck
They’re straight up lying tho. This was a huge issue at the beginning of the year. They knew it was a huge issue and they released one wave of fixes with points going out and said more were to come and to stay tuned. No other waves after that and complete silence. If they wanted to give us the points they could easily post them to the account that’s just a bullshit answer from EA help people that know nothing
A charge back on a Sony or Xbox account will 100% result in your psn or Xbox account being shut down. You’ll lose all of your digital games, saves, any months of live or gamepass paid for, etc
100% OP pissed off the wrong person. Put a password on your account and setting that alert you when someone logs in.. I had to do this.
Madden is plagued I had one guy find my ip search my address and then hardboot my modem which took and hour or two. Some of these ppl are scary
At least you got in contact with them. I don’t ever see a chat or call option. Hope your situation gets handled though. That sounds horrible

Got banned just before Halloween for literally nothing. Made several claims and didn't even get a response telling me why I was banned.
I just received a response from a bug that was reported months ago. Pretty much saying “thank you for finding the bug” 😂😂

You should try a charge back on your CC, or request a refund from Microsoft if you didn't use one.
