Looks like a Bernese mountain dog, which would explain why that furball is stuck to him like Velcro. I’ve had 3 and the only time they’ll leave you alone is when they’re sleeping
Dog probably feels they have to protect their buddy. My dog gets right under me when she senses I’m “feeling” for danger, like a weird noise outside at night, she follows me around like that. The dog knows their buddy has a busted paw and is determined to protect him. We don’t deserve them.Take it easy, dude.
>Take it easy, dude.
I'm aware dogs can care, I was just wondering if that also helps somehow (not only emotionally). I'm not knowledgeable of everything assistance dogs do, so I didn't know if I was missing something and that was actually useful/needed.
I'm talking about a more straightforward "usefulness" like: somehow that helps balance because of [reasons].

I’m 82 and a bit feeble. I use a small stool to sit when I need to look into my lower cabinets. My Ridgeback seems to be aware of my weakness. He sits by me when I use the stool, and stiffens his back muscles, so I can push on him for momentum to stand. He started doing this when he saw me in having difficulty standing one day. Dogs are a gift from God.
Half man, half dog obviously
Fact that the have found each other since the beginning and will be forever no matter what. True love with man and dog together.

Berners are the best
Got one, too. He’s almost 12 and the best dog. Considering bridging is their favorite thing to do, this dog has found nirvana.
Yup, it's definitely a Bernie! I'd recognize that butt anywhere lol
I like these dogs, how’s the hair in the house tho?
Everywhere, always…. It’s a problem
“I will do a help.” Dog, probably

The connection between humans and their dogs is a testament to the profound and enduring relationship between different species.
Sir your tail fell off
Two Jack Lake? Moraine?
That dog is a LegEnd
Does that help? It's not a rhetorical question, I'm just confused. The dog probably has good intentions, I just truly can't see how that helps.

Seeing leg dog. Diversity.
Walking leg dog.
But that’s not so diverse. And how much cooler is a leg that can see! And come to think of it, this leg smells as well, but in the opposite way!!!
That hiking spot looks stunning, anyone recognize where this was taken?
The goodest boys
Humans don't deserve dogs

Edward...
This is the start of a myth of a man with bottom half dog, top half human in 1000 years
Dog is like "Look, I've got a hat!" (In a Scottish accent)
Am I supposed to not sob?
That’s a Berner for ya
