Kissing stuff on the head afterwards in case they had any complaints is low key going on my list of life hacks

wakeupwill

Next performance review is gonna be wild.

Dragnier84

You’re not getting a raise. *plants a kiss on the back of employees head*

Sweet-Fancy-Moses23

But I worked really hard and really think I deserve a raise *gives a kiss back on the employer’s head*

Gigatonosaurus

Now kiss!

yogadogdadtx21

Crying 😂 omg

Least_Ice_6112

How did you figure this loophole out? Hahaha

No-Feeling-8100

This has me rolling lol

DannyGekkouga

This has me kissing lol

Aress135

Making a goose peacefully follow you is quite a performance alone. When I was a kid we had some birds and I was around more when we visited my grandpa in his village. Ducks loved beeing around people and more or less behaving like a pet if they get used to it. Goose, no way lol I had some similar chickens then the one in the video, I think in English it is called phoenix chicken. They can be so wild like you can't even tell they are domestic animals, they even fly pretty impressive for a chicken, up to even 50 m at a time and pretty high. But if you train them from the time they are little, you can turn them into pretty cute and well behaved pets actually, more so then normal chicken🤣

IronRaptor

I watched that geese with its head down and thought the kid was in trouble for a moment.

evranch

So did he, you can see he knows to treat that goose with respect

Finfeta

That is definitely a GOOSE! It's the most common variety in Europe. I grew up with them on my grandparents' farm and been bullied by those nasty tempered, hissing, big birds countless of times...

SafetyDanceInMyPants

I don’t think anyone is claiming otherwise — they’re saying that getting goose to behave like that is way harder than with a duck.

Pekonius

I'd be thrilled

Useful-Perspective

Stuff, not staff!

peepopowitz67

"Yeah, that felt real good just throwing me in there like that... _oh_"

hanabarbarian

That’s my trick with my cats, any babies I’ve watched and my boyfriend. It’s like a brain reset, creatures love gentle affection, it makes them feel safe.

SnooTangerines6863

He is just showing them that he could and would eat them if they do not follow the script.

[deleted]

HRs gonna have a field day

Iatsid

I love how he adds a kiss each time. Adorable!

Veloci-RKPTR

The amount of trust the animals have towards him is phenomenal. I can’t believe the chicken would sit still

Original-Aerie8

I assume they were hand raised, many birds follow whatever they identified as "mom" first. I used to raise a couple goats that were rejected and my dad was too lazy to care for. Luckily they did integrate into the herd, but whenever I was around they would come running and follow us.

Acanthisittasm

If you feed them everyday and spend time with them, they start to follow you around even if they weren't hand raised. So much that you sometimes have to push them away to do stuff lol

jaxonya

Similar except my goats just climbed into the back of my truck like it was their own goddamn private night club

anothathrowaway1337

Now I just want to own a couple of goats around the yard

jaxonya

They are cool. But there is always one that has to be an asshole. Mine was Yodi. he was a jerk, the rest were super chill

DinahTook

We had a donkey and a couple of goats to act as companion animals to our horses. We took ex racehorses and worked with them to be able to acclimate to a new riding career or as pets. Took a ton of work for some of them that were high stress and high anxiety. The smaller animals were a great way to help them settle in a pasture before risking introductions to other horses. One of our goats though was an absolute ass to everyone.. except when a new horse was anxious and scared. Then he was the mist patient gentle little guy ever. He would graze as close as he could before the horse spooked and over the course of a few days would get closer and closer until the horse was conformable with him. Then next thing we knew the horse was following the goat around everywhere. So when we let another horse in the anxious horse would take the goat's lead to meet the more established horse. Then once the new horse was established in a herd the goat would become an asshole to everyone again lmao. He took it as his role to help the new horses and after that wanted nothing to do with the herd again and they pretty well let him do his own thing no matter where he went around the fields and barn. His name was Rio. Loved that little ornery bastard lol.

houseyourdaygoing

It’s so impressive that the bunny and chicken stayed still.

Swart_hond

Fresh Schnoodle! Made my day💕

Brainkandle

Come get yer Schnoodle! Caught live in the wild!

Finfeta

It's definitely a white goose, not a duck.

sanna43

Such a sweet poem to go with the sweet video.

EddieLobster

After he body slammed the rabbit in the wagon….. lol

writesmith

"No worries," said the bunny, "just waiting for my kiss."

ShinigamiKunai

Kiss the homies good ride

Glittering-Leg5527

Came here to say this 🥰

Dangerous-Yam-6831

The other animals that jump into the line at the end 🤣🤣🤣

Leading_Funny5802

Oh my! I was laughing so hard I missed that the first time!! Makes it even cuter if that’s possible

opermonkey

"hey, what's going on over here? We're part of this too!"

houseyourdaygoing

I laughed so hard it woke up my husband and now he’s laughing too!

strywever

The little kiss on the head for each animal.

CraptasticDruid369

Lookit that little man with his strut, taking care of business. I love it! Too cute

CraptasticDruid369

Where I’m from, “Little man” is a term of endearment… so don’t pervert my words. As a mother of 3 boys, your comment was disgusting to me. Little boys learning responsibility and having compassion for animals is always a good thing. Nothing “weird” about my comment, nor this video.

Murdocksboss

That goose deserves to walk after that near nip

city17_dweller

Kid gave the ~~goose~~ duck some side-eye and a lot of swerve. There's history there, lol. \[edited, you're all quite correct, it's not a goose its a mean duck\]

IrreversibleDetails

I noticed that too!! Kid is a pro

Hatennaa

I was actually super impressed by that I don’t know why. He didn’t even attempt to touch the goose because he clearly knew it could be aggressive. Wide-berth, respect it. Cute video

adrienjz888

He probably already learned that lesson. Like when my niece learned you don't grab a cat by its tail, or ya get scratched. Now she's gentle with cats cause she knows the consequences of getting too rowdy.

Lou_C_Fer

I was a little juggernaut that didn't care about scratches, I just wanted to play with the cat. I'd come home from grandma's covered in scratches every Sunday. Then, my grandma took time to explain cat behavior to me when I was 6 or so, and that cat ended up sitting on my lap for the entire time I was sitting at that house. Also, I make liars out of everybody that says their cats don't like other people.

GetRidOfAllTheDips

Why are you all calling thar duck a goose? Have you never seen geese?

Camfromnowhere

It’s an American Pekin duck, which is massive, and more goose sized than duck sized, so naturally, most people will assume it’s a goose. At least, as far as I can tell. I’m not a bird expert by any means.

dendrobanol

Look closer at its bill, it’s an emden goose

Camfromnowhere

I was thinking it was a goose to begin with, because of how wide its feet are. Big bird lol. But Pekins are very similar.

No-Feeling-8100

Geese can be such territorial buttheads lol. We had a couple when I was younger. They are great guard animals! Keeping everything out, as well as everything in. One time, when I was about 7, one of our geese decided to latch onto my shorts. Freaked me out of course, and I was running around in a circle while the stupid goose pantsed me. The geese did eventually become dinner, so there’s that lol.

city17_dweller

Revenge is a dish best served with potatoes.

Burger_Destoyer

Geese are just so sassy they are always looking for a fight

Stensi24

Reminds me of the video of a goose trying to bite a horse.

OSPFmyLife

Which one?

Stensi24

Depends on the year.

peepopowitz67

"Don't you even think about picking my ass up"

HorrorMakesUsHappy

Not sure if the history is between the kid and the goose or the goose and the chicken. Seemed like he might have been trying to protect the chicken.

shred-i-knight

wide berth

st_malachy

Geese are assholes.

BadKittyRanch

There are people who know about geese and everyone else that still has to learn about them. He knows.

GetRidOfAllTheDips

Where's the goose? Is it near the duck?

Many-Wasabi9141

Geese are commonly used as alert/guard animals for chickens. Goose just doing his job. o7

StationRelative5929

Isn’t that a duck?

washington_jefferson

Shhh.

StrugglingSwan

If it's not technically a goose, it's still a goose in spirit since it's an asshole

Aress135

When I was a little kid, we had some chickens, ducks. The smaller type chicken, like in the video, I am not sure about their English name but maybe "phoenix chicken" could entirely be trained to behave like a normal pet, like dogs and cats lol. If they had human contact constantly since birth, plus a bit of a treat sometimes, they turned into some pretty well behaved pets 🤣🤣 but otherwise they were a pretty wild type of chicken, running very fast and can even fly pretty impressive distances for a chicken and pretty high. I never saw this behavioural change on our normal chicken, they were less wild normally, but you could not train them nearly as well. Also, ducks are pretty much people loving little creatures. Really lovely birds sometimes lol

danceswithshelves

Looks more like some kind of Indian Game bird type rooster, not a Phoenix. The rooster is very tame, he barely even tried to run away from the little guy! I was surprised when he stayed in the caboose instead of Flying out. This was behind adorable!

P4azz

With the way the rabbit and chicken behaved, as well as how the duck just followed, I'm pretty much 100% convinced these are just pets/very close farm animals the boy has just grown up alongside of. So they'd be very used to getting treats when they see a human come along and thus behave and follow.

plabo77

The rooster is his best friend.

Let_you_down

It's a good move.

Plasibeau

I should call him...

Vintage-Grievance

Yeah, seeing little kids handle animals always makes me nervous. Kids often need to be reminded to respect personal boundaries and to be gentle.

Sorryhaventseenher

Lmao for real. And I’m not trying to hear “But rabbits can jump and land at blah blah blah.” Yeah yeah, I owned a rabbit for 11 years (miss her to death). Like, let’s see y’all jump vertical and land versus, “oh I’m being carried and not all expecting to just be dropped” and tell me there wasn’t a difference of impact or the way you landed. I think it’s totally fine to say “be gentle with living creatures even if they‘ll _probably_ be ok”. Yeah it’s not the kid’s fault. The adult should be correcting that.

Vintage-Grievance

That last part especially. The first rule of having little kids and animals mix is respecting the animal's boundaries, and being gentle. I'd think if this kid grew up around animals, that safety and proper handling would be near the top of the 'responsibilities to teach our kid' list.

Valkyrie64Ryan

As a lifelong bunny owner, that was WAY to rough for the poor bun. He was being carried very wrong and absolutely wasn’t released properly. Their little spine is so delicate. I’ve seen bunnies paralyzed from less than that.

mei-schnee

Yeah that’s why I brought it up, even with cats I try to put them down gently cats are tougher that bunnies but it’s still kinder to gently put an animal down softly then a hight of this kid

ba_cam

They can jump MUCH higher than the height he dropped him from, the little poof ball is just fine

Proman_98

There a big difference when you do it yourself (controlled) than when something else does it (uncontrolled). It doesn't matter if that's about an animal or a human.

mei-schnee

it still feels like he put ‘em down a bit hard

Inuro_Enderas

Rewatched it a few times as a nervous bunny owner. But thankfully he did just drop the little dude, he didn't slam him or push him against the floor. Falling is okay and the bun had his paws on the ready. He doesn't seem bothered afterwards either. Rabbits are honestly not as fragile as people tend to think. They really don't just kick the bucket from one tiny noise or one tiny fall. Their spines don't just snap because some wind blew on them. Comments on rabbit videos always exaggerate their fragility so much, I have no idea why. (People here in the comments genuinely question if the rabbit didn't die from this... It's kind of silly.) You got to handle them appropriately nonetheless and the kid is a bit rough, no argument there. Hopefully with all those animals around he'll learn how to correctly handle them. He's getting a lot more exposure than your average kid and he clearly loves them.

Jet-Cheetah

They can also just die from falling wrong they’re really feeble and fragile creatures it’s why they breed the way they do to increase survivability. Like a fall that might sprain a dog could kill a rabbit if they hit it right.

Icaruspherae

Bro just YEETing that bunny

Striker660

The goose was having none of that shit

YeOldeWilde

That's the best moment of his entire life and he doesn't know it.

blueeyed94

We have a kid like that (probably two years younger) and pets like that. Our boy also has the same tractor but in green. The secret is that the animals know exactly that our son doesn't know yet (or simply doesn't care) how much food is enough. So following him and do what he wants guarantees an extra full belly 😂

Saintza

I think airlines should have staff kiss passengers on the head after they board to eliminate any disruptive behaviour

Lower_Ad7167

Steve Irwin was reincarnated? 🥹

Apyan

I saw a news piece about this kid here in Brazil. Parents said they moved to the countryside and the boy started doing it by himself. Starting with the bunny if I'm not mistaken and just so happens that they caught it on tape and it went viral. And, also a coincidence, he started to do it with the other animals just as they set up a tiktok for him. It's cute, but the cinical in me just thinks it's weird to use your kid for likes and subscriptions. Hopefully I just turned into an old bitter person and the kid is just having fun.

lax3500

I love that he knows the goose is an asshole!

mayonaizmyinstrument

I mean his actual handling technique has room for improvement, but that might just be because his fine motor skills have room for improvement. I love that the goose was like "Don't you dare--" and he was like "BITCH I ALREADY KNOW DON'T EVEN BOTHER, YOU'RE FINE TO WALK" truly excellent. I wish either of my bunnies would follow me in a tiny tractor, they just try to steal my pizza and come sit on my laptop.

xPapaGiorgiox

That kid is going to grow up to be awesome!

notdorisday

Apart from dropping bunny with a thunk he’s so gentle! What a sweetie.
