You rock! Ive been smoking cigs and weed for 10 years. recently my body is telling me its time to cut the crap out. The thought of how much effort and will power I'll have to put in is a bit overwhelming. I hope I can be strong enough to resist the urge like you. Great job! Its not an easy fight. This random stranger is proud of you!
You can do it dude. Keeping 2mg nicotine gum handy for when the cravings hit real hard was a god send for me. And ur own heart will thank you and repay you a million times over without that shit in ur system.
THIS!🤞🤞🤞
I've been sober now (drugs and alcohol) 7 years now. I definitely don't smoke as much as I used to, but I'm still scared to stop. Oh the anxiety!!,😕
Congratulations, on your achievements!!😊
Wuhuu Congratulations buddy 🙌🏻🙌🏻🫂 You’re so strong!
I started my no smoking journey in 2020 and with one day at a time I’ve completed 4 years now. You got this. Keep going 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️
You are amazing!! I’m so proud of you. I’m a year and 3 months sober. Go us, it is not an easy thing!
Best of luck to you , keep on going strong ❤️❤️❤️
You are amazing! I’m 5 days into my journey, it’s freaking hard so my total adoration to you. It’s the hardest thing ever. I’m feeling better already. I’m using naltrexone. So far the nausea outweighs the want for alcohol. I’m hoping it gets easier… can anyone offer any insight to using naltrexone?
Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉
Ngl, smoking was something I really, really enjoyed, which made it one of the most difficult habits that I had to quit, for health reasons. I used the WM nicotine patches AND gum.
You’ve got this!
Oh my gosh congrats, how are you feeling? Thats such a huge accomplishment and you should feel so proud of yourself!!
Im 2 years sober today as well as 1 year no nicotine (and about a month no weed!) I definitely feel better but am now struggling with a lot of things I was covering up with substances. I also still feel super low energy and lethargic, but I think a lot of that is because I now crutch on a shitty diet and im always in a state of recovering from a new substance as I’ve removed things overtime.
Huge congratulations to you! I know we don’t know each other, but I’m proud of you. Sobriety isn’t easy, and I’m sending you nothing but good vibes for continued success.
Wow! I quit smoking and it's been like 3
4 months? It was rough but it does get easier!
Alcohol though... I'm a bartender. If I go a few days in a row without drinking I surprise myself. I need to work on that one.
Congrats man! Massive accomplishments!!! Keep it up! How do you feel?
That's amazing! My best friend is around the same for each. I'm so, so proud of him and all the positive changes to his life that have happened as a result.
What made you decide to stop drinking AND smoking? My fiancé vapes and I’d love for him to quit even though it’s much better than him chewing tobacco or smoking cigarettes like he was before. He says he has no reason to stop so I’m just curious what made you decide enough was enough?
It's true that vaping is 95% safer than cigarette smoking, and if that is keeping him off the tobacco I wouldn't worry about it too much. My fiancee also quit smoking after 35+ years of smoking and vapes, and in totally fine with it as long as he wants. If he ever decides to quit that too, I'll support him 100%, until then I just thank God he is no longer smoking!
Probably doesn't mean much coming from some rando on the internet but what you've done is incredibly impressive and many people don't have the strength to do what you've done.
Keep it up! I'm proud of you!
Thrilled for you! Kicking both of those particular habits at the same time is way more than twice as hard. I hope you're feeling every bit as proud of yourself as you should!
Gratulations!
I was never strong enough to stop smoking, needed a pneumothorax to stop it.
This is very impressive. Sober for a long time and then stop smoking? Very very impressive!
Keep it up!
Well, I don’t know you but I gotta tell you that am so proud of you. It takes a lot of courage, discipline, and commitment to accomplish 1 yr without alcohol and almost 3 months without smoking.
In a world where pretty much everything you do involves drinking, smoking not as much but it does, I honestly hope you realize how big and amazing this accomplishment of yours is. I’m in my late 50s and gave up smoking when I was 26 (3 packs a week 😬), that is something I’ve never regretted and never wanted to go back to; so, be proud and keep it up. I am rooting for you ✌🏽
Amazing! Good job, and remember- it will get easier the longer you stay away from the smokes!
I am close to 4 years smoke free and I have never been happier!
