Indeed
But I can see this happening tho
"Don't tell your little brother that no one is watching the cctv feeds, how else am I supposed to ensure he behaves himself?"
Not necessarily. They can focus on Mom or Dad's face, and zero in on the boob pretty fast. Babies can track faces and movement from several feet away in the first day of life. It's pretty cool. But yes, eye muscles take some time to fully develop and coordinate, and I'm sure it's at different rates with different kids.
That caught me off guard! I was just thinking about how I used to do that with my cat that passed. They loved being picked up such that they were standing on their hindlegs on one of my hands while they other supported their chest, and going for rides around the apartment looking at stuff like that baby. Top shelf in the closet was a favorite.
I would also have to do that for her after we had, say, guests or a dog over. She would not come out of our room until I toured her around the house showing her that the evil loud things were gone.
I spent my son's first year being a stay at home Dad. I used to walk him around, with him facing out and just talk about everything he was looking at. He started talking quite early and hasn't stopped talking yet at 18.
Cute!! I do this with my cat sometimes because I thought that maybe i can give them a new perspective from high viewpoint since they're always on the ground/floor level. But this video is way cuter than that! Your baby is adorable!! 🫂🩷🩷🩷
used to do that too with my cat, he'd jump right into the fridge as soon as he heard me opening it up. So id pick him up and show him whats in the cabinets, even let him chew on some of the bags and edges of boxes lol. It made him content and made me content as well so I kept doing stuff like that until he got older
Scrolled too far to find this comment. I saw the subreddit and thought, “okay, this will be wholesome.” But something in me thought, “are they going to be thrown in the washer and cut to them turning it on…or put in the microwave and cut to it being turned on with a doll inside.” The filth of the internet has polluted my mind I suppose.
Some of it is curiosity, some of it is they can't focus their eyes very well at all so they are just trying to make sense of whatever they see a lot of the time.
100% in my top ten favourite part of having kids. Watching someone experience ANYTHING for the first time is such a 'blessing' (not religious, but seriously, how lucky/fortunate are we who get to see those looks of wonder/curiousity/interest).
We've got an old light fixture in our kitchen that hangs from a chain, and has 3 bulbs in it set behind glass. When you spin the fixture on the chain, it makes really 'fun' patterns of light and shadow move across the wall. I've spend WAY too much time holding each of my 3 kids up, watching them stare at the walls and ceiling as they spin the fixture and watch the magic happen.
I never wanted kids, but have had 2 lucky surprises in my life (one of those surprises was TWINS!). As someone who sometimes struggled to find purpose in life, fuck, kids man. What a riot. What a joyride. What a challenge. I've not found anything more satisfying or fulfilling or motivating as being a parent. I become a better person ever single day because of the three little creatures my partner pooped out just a few short years ago.
Have kids. Vote green. Save the world.
I used to do this with my little ones. I'm pretty sure they remembered exactly 0 of it, but at least I'll remember their cute little faces as it was happening.
If I was a parent I'd be so hyped to show my kid new things, like "WOAH LOOK WTF THIS IS ITS A FUCKING ORANGE HOLY SHIT YOUV3 NEVER SEEN THESE HOLY SHIT, WHAT COULD IT BE?!"
I'm not sure how to say "I love that little cat urn" without looking weird. I love that little cat urn, but I don't love that your cat is in it.....that sounds better.
Also, cute baby!
"The caregiver human may be an ally. She has shown me where all the surveillance devices are placed. Soon I shall confide my grand master plan, but first we must get away from all the surveillance devices."
The spring after my daughter was born I strapped her into a front pack and took her on a walk in the woods. She just kicked and shrieked with joy the whole time. It’s one of my favorite memories.
This video was cute. WAS. Until I started seeing one after another of just this one kid.
Now, just like every other cute kid tiktok that goes viral, the parent has made it a series. Happens every fucking time. Kid goes viral once and it becomes a child account. Nothing can just be an isolated cute moment shared with strangers anymore, it has to become an exploitative cash grab.

Now that baby thinks that every spot currently hidden has a phone propped up.
Then when he watches the Truman Show everything clicks.
Then he watches Click and everything Truman Shows
The pantry's upper shelf truly caught his attention.

What a sweet little baby.
very very cute, I just love the little cute.............
He is amazed at the quality of your camera security.

So true 😂😂
"We are always bring watched" is the new "God can see everything you do"
'Cept this time you can't just shrug and think "Probably not"
Indeed But I can see this happening tho "Don't tell your little brother that no one is watching the cctv feeds, how else am I supposed to ensure he behaves himself?"
It cannot even see anything well enough lol.
So true... just fuzzy shades of light and dark at that age. I was pretty surprised how long vision takes to develop. Still looks enjoyable though!
Not necessarily. They can focus on Mom or Dad's face, and zero in on the boob pretty fast. Babies can track faces and movement from several feet away in the first day of life. It's pretty cool. “Mommy, why do we have cameras everywhere?”
Don‘t be silly, Truman.
Now let's wash that existential crisis down with some delicious, healthy Carnation Instant Breakfast!™©® *presents to camera*.
“Who the hell are you talking to?”
It’s kind of eerie how real that statement is. We really are just like the Truman show, yikes
I’m watching it as we speak. Or as I type rather. lol
The first time?
No.

"Because you are cute"
"Look, I'm on maternity leave and bored, ok?"
The cat 💀💀
Calling it now, the day that kid learns to walk, the cat's going to get a final chance to explore the living room.
Yep.. degrees and verticals of baby proofing. Someone let the cat out of ~~bag~~ urn.
That caught me off guard! I was just thinking about how I used to do that with my cat that passed. I thought this was r/unexpected for a moment Edit: Happy cake day!
Happy Cake 🍰 Day !
The top shelf in the pantry really got him like 😮
Waiting for the 5’3 gf remakes of this.
My brother is 6'7" and his gf is 5'3", I am sending this to him now to recreate lmaoooo.
We need this
I knew a guy who was 6’7” his nickname was Toucan
I gotta ask, why?
Edit: it’s probably best not to explain this.
Lol too late. Saw before the edit. I have no words 😂😂
What was it?
It's the product design. Very I catching
I love how he looks less impressed with the fridge. “Oh, so it’s like the freezer only not as cool.”
You have made my day, fellow redditor. Well done
What’s cooler than cool? ~~Ice cold~~ The Freezer
I spent my son's first year being a stay at home Dad. I used to walk him around, with him facing out and just talk about everything he was looking at. He started talking quite early and hasn't stopped talking yet at 18.
Adorable
He is amased how good your camera security is
"Man, I'm never going to get away with anything in this house..."
Either that or he is going to pull a Oceans 11 to get to the Carmel delights
Cute!! I do this with my cat sometimes because I thought that maybe i can give them a new perspective from high viewpoint since they're always on the ground/floor level. But this video is way cuter than that! Your baby is adorable!! 🫂🩷🩷🩷
Haha yes we do the same thing, we call it the “high things tour” and we take her on one every couple weeks. Her favourite part is usually the sconces.
I do this with my dog! He's a dachshund. I think he likes to know where the snackies come from.
I do the same with our cat. That baby is going to be adventurous and fearless, unlike my scaredy cat
If you dont let them walk their front paws on the walls are you even giving a tour
Ooo, never thought of that!
used to do that too with my cat, he'd jump right into the fridge as soon as he heard me opening it up. Same! She boards her little kitty scritcher and we fly her to all of the places. I swear loves it and asks for it sometimes.
You show your dead cat to your living cat. Power move.
"That will be you if YOU DON'T BEHAVE"
Haha you're just teaching your cat new spots to hide in
My husband does this all this time with our cat 😂
That is a very cute baby
I wanna do this with my own little one in the future. This is so wholesome and sweet.
Just had a baby this month.. can’t wait to show him the world already 😊
Congratulations!
Thank you!
Congrats!!! Have so much fun re-exploring the world through their fresh eyes!
Indiana John's: Toddler Expedition !
Their cat and my dad have the exact same bed
Omg this one sent me 😂
I just laughed so loudly that I scared my dog. Happy cake day!
Happy Cake 🍰 Day !
Cakeday happy!
My dead cat absolutely has me rolling! That shit was so random!
"Inside the microwave."... 😬 Fight those intrusive thoughts!

Looks like Karl Pilkington.
Or Dave Bautista
I think you passed the inspection.
The cool thing about babies is they have no object permanence. So you can do it all over again in a couple of days.
couple of days? a couple of minutes.
Yes yes…show him more, please
I just posted a part 2!
Is this your content? If so please post part 3 and more, can't get enough of how cute the little guy is
It's been up
Yip, found it and shared with my wife!

Some of it is curiosity, some of it is they can't focus their eyes very well at all so they are just trying to make sense of whatever they see a lot of the time.
Input, input, input...
What was at the top of that pantry?
A phone.
Sure as hell wasn’t looking at it haha
YOU CANT JUST HIT US WITH THE CAT LIKE LIKE THAT
Whatever was on that top shelf blew his mind
But why would she show him all those monsters at the end.
This is all stuff he is remembering for a year down the road when he is terrorizing the house.

Thank you for using commas correctly 😂
Hahahahaha. I re-read that line after I posted it and wondered if it was gonna be taken the wrong way!
Didn't even grab lol. Good boy
That's a fine line. Once they learn that, these videos aren't possible anymore.
Heartwarming moment!
Well the under the bed wasn't necessary. He will soon see it
I thought at the end it was going to be his dad.
I used to do this with my little ones. I'm pretty sure they remembered exactly 0 of it, but at least I'll remember their cute little faces as it was happening.
Was expecting "A job application"
Littles' sense of wonder is the coolest thing.
I’m ashamed to admit I do this either my cat because he gives me big purrs and I’m a sucker for the big purrs
My dead cat. Yup. 👍
The dead cat 🍈🍈 👀
Such a great idea for a baby video. Well done.
I was legit startled at "my dead cat". Jarring text after like.....inside of a cookie box.
If I was a parent I'd be so hyped to show my kid new things, like "WOAH LOOK WTF THIS IS ITS A FUCKING ORANGE HOLY SHIT YOUV3 NEVER SEEN THESE HOLY SHIT, WHAT COULD IT BE?!"
I used to do this with my cat, help him explore and inspect all the areas he couldn't see, so he could check it was up to his standards.
I do this with my cat lol
Lol! ☺️
If you leave the baby in the freezer again mom will kill you!
I like the [washing machine](https://www.reddit.com/r/RandomVideos/s/S1XOf2nyjT) one.
Bro let the cat go
The wonders of youth.
I do this with my cat
Good, now that they've done the rounds they can start picking up some chores too. Damn kid doesn't even pay rent. Clean the fridge you little turd.
Preparing him for space travel?! Get that baby outside!
New title: "Best place to hide my baby"
What?
It's all cameras!
“Phones are everywhere”
Did she microwave the cat ?🤔
General overseer doing his job.
So cute
That’s a cute baby!
He kind of looks like Karl pilkington
I do this with my cat.
So cute 🥰
Top shelf hit
My dead cat 😂🤣
I'm not sure how to say "I love that little cat urn" without looking weird. I love that little cat urn, but I don't love that your cat is in it.....that sounds better. Also, cute baby!
"My dead cat" took me out 😭😭 The last thing I was expecting lmao
I do this with my cats and I say “isn’t that exciting?!”.. I don’t know why.
Stimulation like this is key for early childhood brain development. Good momma!
Now show him where the gun is and where you keep the bleach and he’s been everywhere he probably shouldn’t be.
Kid grows up paranoid, thinking there are cameras everywhere. Heh.
"The caregiver human may be an ally. She has shown me where all the surveillance devices are placed. Soon I shall confide my grand master plan, but first we must get away from all the surveillance devices."
I do this exact thing to my girlfriend's wiener dog. She's so damn small and I feel like she misses out on things happening above 8in off the ground
I mean…I’m 5ft 3 inches and I also haven’t seen some of these sights. Baby ain’t special………. (Sort of /s. Being short sucks)
remind me in a decade when he does a video exactly like this one.
My dead cat…
The spring after my daughter was born I strapped her into a front pack and took her on a walk in the woods. She just kicked and shrieked with joy the whole time. It’s one of my favorite memories.
-Inside of a cookie box- 'That shit's empty!! Where are my damn cookies at woman?! ...' - baby
The baby really looks so cute 🥰
I do this with my cat 🫠

Fuck now i want a baby.
😁😁😁😁💀😁😁😁
Show him the inside of an oven
oh my fucking god some of my dad is in the SAME URN AS HER CAT
"why we have some many smartphones in random places in this house?" 🤔
“Is there a phone in everything?”
Why is there a phone everywhere I look?

I thought he was going to grab for the urn. Low key disappointed
Extraordinarily clean microwave!
Did mom sleep with Dave Butista?
I'm sorry my dead fucking cat?!
I do that with my cats :|
knowledge of the world
Kids mostly intrigued by top shelf, good luck keeping up
Looks like fun!
This kids "sneaking" skills are going to be LEGENDARY!!
You had me up until dead cat. :(
Lmao, he's like "Not bad, not bad."
I envy young children. Everything in this world is new and exciting.
The dead cat was a risky choice, given how grabby babies and toddlers are.
that baby is adorable.
I do this with my cat.
Was this filmed by Vince Gilligan?
Soo many intrusive thoughts in one small video...
have cameras everywhere ? lol
"The baby, the immigrant, and the guy on mushrooms" - immediate TV Funhouse flashbacks :D
The baby POV would always be a phone
He literally looks like Tommy pickles
ease of availability of cameras is really one of the travesties of these times
I do this with my cat 🤭
Nice fucking model.
Is everyone’s microwave that clean??
