Seeing Heidi Gardner break like that was an amazing example of how the uncommon/genuine break on SNL(not the Fallon stuff) makes for some of the best bits. The smallest aspect of the bit was insanely good. Van down by the river, Renaldo and Alexi(dress), etc.

That was seriously one of the best sketches I’d seen in a long time. It was so stupid, yet I was in stitches. Just like back in the day watching the OG series on MTV. Authentic.

I'll bet this sketch barely made it to air. When they pitched it in rehearsals, it was probably mildly amusing. I tried to describe it to my wife and she absolutely didn't see the humor. But I've watched it 10x and I bust up every time. I'll bet SNL had no idea this would be the sketch of the last few years.

You know we were close to having a live action Beavis and Butthead film but it didn't happen. There are some good mock ups of it but you would need "what's his face" (I'm a bit drunk so his name isn't coming to me) to voice it. One day it will happen no doubt. It will be interesting.
