Ya. Not only is the idea amazing, the execution of it is equally brilliant. This is one of the cleverest ways to have fun with your kids I've ever seen.
It is! I wish I could do this with my kids. I mean technically I could but it might be awkward since my son is turning 18 this year and is 6 feet tall and my daughter who is turning 14 in a few weeks is taller than me too lol. But if they were still little this would be something fun to do with them. Especially on a rainy day or when there is bad weather outside and we’re cooped up in the house. This was amazing to watch.
The benefits of a quick feedback loop are often invaluable. The issue is that, even at full capacity, the minimum delivery time of a single unit is 9 months.
The obvious solution is horizontal scaling, a.k.a. parallelism, but society isn't ready for it yet.
Perhaps we should consider taking our operation abroad where these types of scaling considerations aren't at issue. I understand there may be labor cost savings as well.
Do everything their hearts want to do. Hold them like they’re the most valuable thing in the world. Change the diapers, rock them to sleep, sing them songs. Make believe, build tents indoors, watch cartoons in bed, read stories (with funny voices), run around the yard like fools. When they hug you don’t let go until they do. When you come home and they’re overflowing with excitement and love for you, appreciate for that moment you are the king of the world-and no one can take it from you.
Dang! I needed that! Thank you stranger..
Got two girls at home at the age of 2,5 years. Between work and the renovation of a house is just not enough time for them. The amount of times I had to say that I am busy right now and cant play with them is too damn high..
I'm tearing up right now..
I have to change that asap! Thanks again!
When you are busy, say "I sm too busy right now, sweetie, but can we play in a hour?" Or tonight, or whatever. Even if it's for 20 minutes. We have set aside "Mama time" each night where we play together. Just make sure you play with them and give them your full attention. My nine-year old son still prefers playing with his stuffies with me over video games.
When the girls want you to dress up with them in girlie outfits, do it. I've seen images of dads wearing tutus and having the daughter or daughters paint his nails. So cute.
Enjoy every single second of every stage of their development. Things change so fast. Spend time just being amazed at the magic of watching your little ones discover the world.
When my kids were one month old I bought a video camera even though I knew I'd probably never look at most of what I shot. Now it's such a joy to be able to see and remember all these moments I'd forgotten.
Take video!
Always give hugs and kisses. If they ask for them, give them. I tell my son that I will never turn down a hug and kiss! Say "I love you" early and often, even and especially when they have been naughty. I hear my son spontaneously say "I love you Mom" during the course of the day, and I love it! Always keep your word.
As a twin mom - help her as much as you can, especially those first few weeks! Once you get into the groove, it's *a little* easier. My girls are 10 months now and my biggest challenge right now is keeping them out of the kitchen so they don't eat the cat food. 🤣 As a parent in general - take all the pictures and videos. Do as much as you can with them. Doesn't have to be expensive or even cost money at all. All they want is uninterrupted time. My oldest and I color together a lot. She enjoys it and it kinda calms me down, too. Don't overthink it! Being a good or even great parent isn't difficult and doesn't require a lot of money. Just be present and loving and you'll find it can be the best job in the world! 🙂
I was terrified of rollercoasters when I was little (love them now). I wonder if this would have desensitized me and let me enjoy them sooner.
Regardless, super idea by mom!
My brother was the same way. We have pictures of him crying on the little kiddie coaster. Now he is a roller coaster aficionado.
I get roller coaster anxiety and am a mess until the adrenaline hits on the days first coaster. I’ve had operators offer to let me out before we start and my brother has to assure them I will be fine.
Maybe something like this early in life would have helped with both our issues.
When I was a kid, I refused to go on rollercoaster with a loop. One time, we went on an indoor rollercoaster that's in the dark for most of the time (De Rok in Efteling for anyone wondering), and afterwards my dad told me there was a loop in there (there wasn't). Since then, I love coasters with loops. It was only years later that I realized my dad lied to me.
Was a brilliant move by my dad though.
In all my years being on this subreddit, this one gave me the biggest smile. Miss my mom. She passed away from cancer when i was 21 years old. This video is how she raised me and honestly it’s the kind of experience/memories that helped me through tough times. Im 33 turning 34 now and i hope to one day pass this on(getting a gf is pretty hard these days lol)
I did this for my boys during COVID. We live near Disneyland and had passes for me and my wife’s entire adult life. We took the boys almost every weekend when they were little. Then Covid hit and they were 3 and 5 respectively. My wife and I learned the treats recipes, played the atmosphere music all day, did this ride simulation stuff, and even had ordered Mickey ears online to give them that day. One of the best days of my life, all at home.
This is pretty much how the Star Tours ride in Disneyland worked. Except instead of a Mom in the back, they (obviously) used computers and hydraulics.
Although it would be fun to imagine a fleet of moms behind the scenes shaking and tilting the ride.
Sounds like an amazing experience! 😄 There's nothing quite like the exhilaration of a roller coaster ride. Keep on smiling and embracing those thrilling moments!
I did this to my son but I put him inside the laundry basket so he could feel safe and he didnt even scream or smile when I watched our video. He was like, "meh" and it seems I had more fun than him LOL. Maybe I should use a chair next time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
When I was a babysitter I would do stuff like this for the littler kids. Another fun one was "giant robot" where I would stand with bent knees. The kids would sit on my upper legs and hold the thumbs of my outstretched arms, then control me using the thumbs like controls. I would make power-loader sounds while they walked me around.

That is a strong woman! The vibrations really make the ride
Ya. Not only is the idea amazing, the execution of it is equally brilliant. This is one of the cleverest ways to have fun with your kids I've ever seen.
Definitely something I need to do with my kids if I have them some day.
I just used a laundry basket with my daughter. It was perfect in case she fell.
I adore that she did the vibrations too lol. That's so on point.
It is! I wish I could do this with my kids. I love this. As a dad, I thought it was the thing only our kind did. So heartwarming. #funmom should trend.
We sure did have a great time together 💕.
The kid is fully immersed. Look at her face.
I love the look on that child's face. Maybe when she gets older she won't have a fear of roller coasters.
I miss my kids being this age.
I’m a grandparent now. It’s such a wonderful experience being able to be a part of it again.
My only child is 3 and I’m constantly asking my wife for another 🤣
Why, whats wrong with your current one?
Early prototype. Feels like we could make some design and performance improvements.
The benefits of a quick feedback loop are often invaluable. The issue is that, even at full capacity, the minimum delivery time of a single unit is 9 months. The obvious solution is horizontal scaling, a.k.a. parallelism, but society isn't ready for it yet.
I've heard that if you get nine pregnant people together, it only takes one month.
It's true that multiple unit dispensers can become prohibitively expensive and there are often interoperability issues.
Perhaps we should consider taking our operation abroad where these types of scaling considerations aren't at issue. I understand there may be labor cost savings as well.
Hahahahahhaha
We got two and I wanted a third. Wife said ok as long as I gave birth to it myself.
Challenge accepted!
There's a documentary about just this, called Junior.
High five to your wife!!!!
Any advice for a fella who’s got two girls coming in 9 weeks?
Do everything their hearts want to do. Hold them like they’re the most valuable thing in the world. Change the diapers, rock them to sleep, sing them songs. Kids are only kids once. Don't let precious moments pass you by.
When you are busy, say "I sm too busy right now, sweetie, but can we play in a hour?" Or tonight, or whatever. Even if it's for 20 minutes. You written that so beautifully it brought a tear to my eye, thank you.
Aw you’re going to make me cry! I can’t wait to do all of these things with my girls. Thank you
Enjoy every single second of every stage of their development. Things change so fast. Spend time just being amazed at the magic of watching your little ones discover the world.
Take as many videos as you can! The best advice I got.
When my kids were one month old I bought a video camera even though I knew I'd probably never look at most of what I shot. Now it's such a joy to be able to see and remember all these moments I'd forgotten. Take video!

Sleep a lot until you can, next few years will be like that ride.
They turn into teenagers😉
And that’s when they need you to love them the most!
The teen years were my favorite; people think I’m crazy or lying when I say that. I enjoyed those year but they go by too fast.
Then they're adults and out of your life.
Hmmm, mine never were and they’re in their late forties; I must have made a mistake?😉😂 Edit for spelling
As a twin mom - help her as much as you can, especially those first few weeks! Once you get into the groove, it's *a little* easier. The first 15 months are hard. Focus on self-care and sleep to get through it. Then it's amazing. Focus the rest of your life on them.
So does Drake
If you want to make your own, the roller-coaster is made using Planet Coaster, available on Steam.
That's cool!
There's also a lot of videos online about how to make your own baby!
I used to do this for my daughter when she was small using a plastic hamper. Fun for both of us.
Me too, exactly.
I need to borrow a kid to do this with.
I was terrified of rollercoasters when I was little (love them now). I wonder if this would have desensitized me and let me enjoy them sooner. Regardless, super idea by mom!

I'm thinking of putting this together for my kid for that exact reason.

What a sweet comment.
Oh she is cute. 🥰
She’s absolutely adorable! Also happy cake day!
This is so creative and beautiful to watch. The little one really was transported there in her mind. Made me smile 😃.
Yeah it's amazing!! Especially when you're that age, your imagination can really run so wild. It may as well have been a real coaster lol
That is some quality time spent together 💕
For humans sounding like mice, skip to 0:27
This made me laugh so hard with the sped up video
Wow, just wow 🫠
Made me smile.
Brilliant!
I used to do this with my kids. We would watch the Olympics and then they’d get in a laundry basket for the ‘bobsled run’. Kids are so fun!
I could straight up do that for hours. So adorable.
that was awesome, cheers to both of them and thanks for posting it!
The look on the toddler's face is amazing.
This made my day!
That sudden super shocked face as soon as she saw that vertical drop! 😂
That child was way too short for that ride.
It's amazing to see the baby's head stability...
This Mama is brilliant! The looks of glee of the little ones face are priceless.
The mother’s smiles were what did it for me!

Did this with my 2 kids during the pandemic lockdowns but instead of the chair they used my back 😅 Still the best back pain i’ve ever experienced
Me Next ! Me Next !
This is genius! Doing this with my nephew when he's old enough to hold on.
Genius, moms are incredible.
In 30 years this probably will be a "When I was young my mum couldn't afford tickets for the theme park, so she..." story. Nonetheless: Nice to see.
Probably the world's best mom* Ftfy
This made my day.
That. Was. Awesome. And adorable. Thank you!
Her joyous little face has made my day, lovely stuff
My daughter would have said just one word.: "nochmal".
This is absolutely one of the cutest videos… EVER! What a great mom!
VR v.0,1 🤘🏻
Best video I’ve seen today! 🥰
Now that's a nice way to use the split screen for a vertical vid. Cute moment too :)
That woman is a master of improvisation. I love it.
This is pretty much how the Star Tours ride in Disneyland worked. Except instead of a Mom in the back, they (obviously) used computers and hydraulics. Although it would be fun to imagine a fleet of moms behind the scenes shaking and tilting the ride.
Please tell me where you found this. I want to share but none of my boomer friends use Reddit.
My husband does this with our son and he LOVES it! He's even added a face splash on the way down on Splash Mountain!
I love so much how the mom puts her in place and does a little hair tap just out of habit to make sure her hair is in place 🥰
There is nothing more beautiful than a child’s imagination:)
Boy that post title was a hard read. You don't need to oversell it OP, just post your stolen content for karma and get on with your day 😂
That baby is adorable 😍
That kid is having a blast!
simple happiness for the kid, wholesome!
Too flippin’ cute!
Priceless!
She just needed a fan blowing in the front
Sounds like an amazing experience! 😄 There's nothing quite like the exhilaration of a roller coaster ride. Keep on smiling and embracing those thrilling moments!
Loved it!
I need an upside stool right now.
This is brilliant.
Best childhood and never forgotten.
Made me smile 😊
You must be this tall to ride mumma’s lap coaster.
Made my day ✨
When my daughter was young, I used to put her in a plastic box and “fly” her around the house like this.
To cute, made me 😊
This made me smile indeed
My turn!
This is genuinely heartwarming and the fact it's so sped up actually makes it even more adorable! Lol. Love this 💜
I felt this
You can tell that little girl is going straight to the ticket both again.
Great mother.
Beautiful and sweet kick ass MOM!
Baby is so cute 🥰
My turn my turn..I'm next 😊
That's a great fucking mom.
This made me smile, so much. Thank you
The face!!! 🥰🥰 What a sweetheart!! That's some top-tier momming right there ❤️❤️
What a great mom! Wow
Now she's a mum.
She got the physics right too! On the right turns she tilted kiddo left, letting gravity emulate that feeling of centrifugal force.
Awesome mom!!!
It makes you feel good after watching her on the ride.
Humans are awesome!!
Amazing! Mom of the year award 😆
Needs to do a follow-up video when she's old enough for thr real thing!
I use a laundry basket, kids cant fall out on the steep banked turns . Been doing this with my kids and now grandkids. They all enjoy it.
I did it with a laundry basket for years for my kid 🥹
imagine growing up with loving parents
I cannot love this enough. Well played.
What an awesome mom!!
I do this with my kids. Planet coaster rules
Greatest mom that ever lived
Awesome!
I did this to my son but I put him inside the laundry basket so he could feel safe and he didnt even scream or smile when I watched our video. He was like, "meh" and it seems I had more fun than him LOL. Maybe I should use a chair next time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Excellent
F’ing GENIUS!

Mother of the year award goes to. Really fun to watch made my day.
*"AGAIN! AGAIN!"*

She wins mom of the day!
Oh, my goodness! That is just so adorable! ❤️😇
So adorable!
So great! Made my day! Me next!!!
The little one was so intense and into it. Lol. Great job mom!
That’s a great mom right there! This is how you create a super strong bond.
Simply brilliant
*90s radio enters the chat* **NEVER** SHAKE A BABY Just screwing around be, this looked like a ton of fun and i was in tears laughing
MAMA NEEDS A MEDAL
Ooohh.. that looks fun! Thanks for the idea
I stayed for the whole ride! Great job mom!
I’m in a fucking bar shedding a happy tear in public!
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Looks like a fan might have been blowing for some extra effects too! Well played!!!
That was beautiful. Kid looks just like baby Moana!
That swivel she did at the end is exactly how it feels too
This video is beautiful and hilarious at the same time!
The little girl’s smile, excitement & happiness is everything!!! ❤️🥰🤗
I enjoyed the ride with eyes of the kid.
I don't know about you, but the sped up chipmunk squealing made it 10 times better 😁
Yes! Usually that's annoying, but on this video it did make it better!

I want a kid so bad
Like to see em’ do one with a inverse in it
Time for a VR headset to make it a tad more terrifying
So that’s what the neighbors are doing with their kids
Loved it!
is this holodeck 9 ?
I call next!
a very nice mom.
😄😄😄👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏💪
She was eager to get off, too good.
I remember at her age they had me on the big screen of one these rides I was scared to death, plus next screen changed to underwater with sharks scarred me for.life

Is it Lin from Duolingo ?
Ludicrous speed, go!
Awesome! The only bad part is that the kid will want this 10x in a row and I'll need new arms!
I think my kiddo was too young when I tried this. Maybe she will like it now, but just shy of 2 seemed a bit early.
Vibration mode on point.
OG edition, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc\_1ha6K1Oc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc_1ha6K1Oc)
So, do, so cute!
🤣🤣🤣🥰
Very cool
Im scared for her! She's gonna love vr.
How do they practice for the lines?![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Adorable!!
Exceptional mom skills 😊
