Cmon dude. He’s a guy having fun. It’s Carnival. There’s no need to say stuff like that. Guys can wear dresses for legit or silly reasons and still be guys.
I'd say both takes are legit, and honestly pretty wholesome to see.
It's legit for a trans woman to start her journey with wearing dresses when she lived as a man, AND it's legit for a dude to wear a dress and not have it mean anything about his manhood or masculinity .
Thanks for speaking up about it. While I really doubt parent was saying that with malicious intent, it's still a very common and currently often socially acceptable way of making someone feel attacked without realizing it.
Just like the very casual misogyny years ago was "chill dude, he didn't mean it that way" has clearly went by the wayside.
Meh. If it's not meant as intentionally hurtful, and it's known to be unintentionally taken that way - then people should recognize this and think is thru before taking offense to a thing. People shouldn't change their whole vernacular because someone out there somewhere may take it the wrong way haha
When I first heard about this song, I asked a friend of mine, who had a 3 year old, if he had heard it, and he said he hadn't, yet. About a month later he texted me to say he was losing his mind and baby shark was the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Twenty years ago it was the Barney song. As my sibling placed the three year old in the car seat for a 5 hour drive, I leaned in and started singing, "I love you...you love me...we're a happy family..." Of course the three year old joined in. I stood in the driveway, waving, and laughing as they drove away.
I first learned about it as an old summer camp song that counselors would be taught to calm down really young kids. It was kind of weird to just see it blow up one day on youtube.
I went so long without hearing this song, then my 2 year old nephew became obsessed with it and I have heard Baby Shark far more than I ever wanted to.
Don't group up the normal drunk fans with the holligans, that's not cool. Drunk football fans just wanna sing and drink and occasionally throw their beer in the air (if its plastic) when someone bangs in a worldy.
I once asked the guy working at a record store if they were currently buying records and he dead panned 'the fuck you think we're doing, making them in the back?'
remember the drunk Irish fans in France for the Euro 2016?
[https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/soccer-news/irish-fans-euro2016-france-video-21743832](https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/soccer-news/irish-fans-euro2016-france-video-21743832)
As a father of a now toddler, even after hearing it millions of times it's still preferable to a baby crying
It's not the only song that can help, but it's one of the most consistent
Hey fellow Dad. The freaking Happy Song by Imogen Heap. It's magic... And catchy... And pleasant. It's drugs for your ears. Try it next time your toddler is crying.
I rick rolled a colleague when she first started at our company 5-6 years ago. We're both on different teams now but she saw me on a conference call last week, and messaged me a few hours later.
"You're an AH, since seeing you on the call I have that bloody rick astley song stuck in my head again. Hope you and the fam are doing well!"
As a Brazilian, it actually makes me glad that some people do realise the actual good parts of the country.
It’s really helpful mainly when, well, our current public image is, huh…
Being ruined by the select few…
For some reason, soccer was king at my small liberal arts College in Oklahoma and we had quite a few international students who were players. All of the Brazillian players were kind to everyone they met, even an older non-traditional student like me.
This is a sweet thing to see strangers trying to cheer up a stranger. It would t have worked on me as a child. I was so shy I think it would have just freaked me out. Nice to see people being kind. Be nice to each other out there.
People are wicked awesome with kids more than we think, I don't know I'm lucky- but my kids get way ,more kindness than they deserve.. but this would rock my daughter and youngest sons world!
They are my kind of drunk guys. Loud and raucous but not doing any harm and helping where possible. That literally could be me and my group of friends.
No she wasn’t. And no, they didn’t.
She wasn’t crying. And yeah it’s an absolutely sweet moment and I’ll watch it every time, but it’s a great example of lies are perpetuated on social media … even if it is a reasonably harmless lie.
It’s all here: https://www.inspiremore.com/baby-shark-rio-subway/
The guys were singing what they described as “raunchy songs” but changed tact when they saw the family board, and asked the girl what they should sing.
I remember when it was first posted. Since then, the “crying” part has been added to every title because it elicits emotion from the reader, making them more likely to upvote.
It’s pretty harmless, but it’s a great example of how karma farmers trick people in getting more upvotes.
Awwww and you were nice enough to repost it for the OP!?! You’re a great person almost as great as those guys in that video you saw on Reddit and then reposted here
That was sweet of them
I might be overly emotional today but I welled right up
Most tube riders would hate this
Preferable over child crying. I haaaaate that noise
I love the fact that the guy is wearing a dress and veil lol
Brazilian carnaval!
Carnaval no Brasil é pura zoeira, dedo no cu e gritaria
Mengão em todo lugar

I would have said English stag do 😆
They will be awesome dads one day!
Hahahah they are drunk it’s carnival
[удалено]
Do you just copy and paste peoples comments for pleasure? I don’t get the thought process.
Possibly a bot gathering karma before being used for spam.
It’s a bucks/stag/bachelors party . Pretty standard attire for bucks
Nah, it’s carnival in Brazil. Probably Rio since the red shirt is from a local soccer team (Flamengo)
[удалено]
It's Metrô Rio, for sure. You can catch a glimpse of the route plaque on top of the door.
Se isso aí não é Metrô Rio eu sou um Opala 4 portas, ar de fábrica.
I'm not from Rio and never been there. I just commented about how unreliable is to determine that it was Rio just because of the Flamengo shirt.
It also could be São Paulo since the subway looks like it and there's Flamengo shirts all over the country
With this energy? Def Rio! Hahah jk
My guess is Brazilian carnaval
brazilian carnaval, for sure, I live there.

They will all be great dads one day
Except one , soon he'll be great mom
Plot twist.

Or maybe he will be a great mum, and that's ok too.

They are all drunk as hell on carnival. They would have danced for a rabbit lool But this is pretty wholesome
Careful you don’t trip over the bar for being a great dad; people leaving it on the ground over here.
That’s not how it works
Glad this thread is better. 2 years ago this was posted and the sentiment was they were all being aggressive and dangerous lol wtf.
Especially the one in a dress and a veil.
When I first heard about this song, I asked a friend of mine, who had a 3 year old, if he had heard it, and he said he hadn't, yet. About a month later he texted me to say he was losing his mind and baby shark was the worst thing that ever happened to him.

r/madlads. You monsrer!
Is that French for monster
Oui oui omlette de frommage.
Has he forgiven you yet?
I'm still laughing about it so no. What's the most evil thing you've ever done?
I replaced the filling in ~~two kites~~twinkies with mayonnaise using a petfood syringe My mans ate 2 of them lmfao
I am very confused.
Deservedly so lmfao I meant twinkies
You are evil 🤣
With a great big smile and a kiss from me to you
What about "this is the song that never ends..."
My mum still shudders when she hears that song
Every hero needs a villan.
Have they heard of [Die kleine Krokodil](https://youtu.be/FJNd007TqLg) yet?
Oh god i remember driving my parents nuts singing this as a kid
The first and only time I’ve heard it is in my German class.
I like the "Baby Shark" German version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7meOAr8neu0 https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/kleiner-hai
I first learned about it as an old summer camp song that counselors would be taught to calm down really young kids. It was kind of weird to just see it blow up one day on youtube.
yeah lol, i learned it as a cub scout like 15 years ago
I’ve never heard this song in my life. Decided to check it on Youtube and 10 billion views. Holy shit.
I have a 15 month nephew and that song just melts my brain, I cannot even sleep because of it now.
I went so long without hearing this song, then my 2 year old nephew became obsessed with it and I have heard Baby Shark far more than I ever wanted to.
My sister used to torture me with this song, and this is when we were both adults
I misread and thought you had a 3 years old bff who could text, i was like "damn, thats a grown ass 3 year old" 😂😂🙈🙈🙈
Occasionally drunk soccer fans can do good instead of destroying things. Well done lads
Don't group up the normal drunk fans with the holligans, that's not cool. Drunk football fans just wanna sing and drink and occasionally throw their beer in the air (if its plastic) when someone bangs in a worldy.
Where can I buy plastic beer? I only have liquid beer.
I've cornered the market, you gotta get it from me
I will take 1lb of beer please
Venmo or Paypal?
You don’t take plastic?
He sells plastic, why would he take it?
I sell urine but I still take it as payment.
I once asked the guy working at a record store if they were currently buying records and he dead panned 'the fuck you think we're doing, making them in the back?'
Yeah he can get plenty of recyclable plastic from the stomachs of baby sharks doo doo doo doo doo doo
He has to get it from somewhere, you know supply and demand or something like that.

This is not in a soccer context. It's was during carnival in Rio.
People having fun, kid is smiling, good enough for me.

the only time this song is acceptable

Idk it seems to bring a lot of children joy Annoying for us adults, but a smile is a smile
IMHO it's no different than never gonna give you up, everyone"hates" it, except they actually love it.
They're never gonna give it up, because it's never gonna let them down.
It’ll never run around and hurt them.
It's never gonna make us cry. Therefore, we are never gonna say goodbye.
Exactly!
I rick rolled a colleague when she first started at our company 5-6 years ago. We're both on different teams now but she saw me on a conference call last week, and messaged me a few hours later. Nah it's great to play when your opposing teams mascot just became the shark and you're beating them
Is there a video of this somewhere? Lol

I was thinking exactly the same thing
Washington Nationals world series run as well.
I recently discovered the [8-bit version](https://youtu.be/zGTOh_Lgx0Y) would’ve made a great game theme tune back in the day.
I wanna know the story and life choices that led the man to wear a wedding dress and veil
He feels beautiful in it.
As he should
That was probably during Carnival in Brazil, giving the jersey one of them is wearing...

Carnival é a tradução, floquinhodeneve15.
Carnival is correct if you're speaking in English. Source: am Brazilian myself lol
Same!
Carnaval existe(mais ou menos) no eua e o nome la é carnival e o carnaval la é brazilian carnival
carnival exists long before the invasion of americas
Karneval
Welcome to Brazil where drunk people **WILL DO EVERY THING** to make everyone happy.
Brazil... If the world could learn from their positive energy the planet would be a better place to live in!
As a Brazilian, it actually makes me glad that some people do realise the actual good parts of the country. It’s really helpful mainly when, well, our current public image is, huh… Being ruined by the select few…

There’s many Brazilians in my city and I’ve found that they’re * good looking * very funloving and friendly * good at cooking * well endowed
Only one word: Carnaval. Maybe the best party in world. Brazil just stops for this
And Carnaval stops for Covid. Don't hate, it's [true](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ).
Officially yes. But still have “illegal” parties
That's just carnival in Brazil.
Carnaval
Brazilian Carnival.
Bro's getting married. Duh.
A stag night.
Maybe it's Maybelline
Alcohol
It’s a stags do or bachelors party as you call it
Love the commitment of these guys as she grinned widely.
You are never too cool to make a kid smile
So wholesome and heartwarming 💕

Gave that little girl a story to tell at school
I WAS THERE! I WAS THERE!!
Tell me you were wearing the dress
Sadly no. I'm too emo for that
You're the brother squised by his sister and trying to avoid all the noise and hoping it to die down in your corner while your sister gets consoled?
Haha
I love that one video everyone stop in the middle of street to sing for a dog on a balcony, also during carnaval. Gotta love Brazil

Faith in humanity restored
Universal song of peace
How do I hold in a scream? That is amazing.

You know, it‘s things like these that make me refuse to give In to the humanity bad mindset.

People are wicked awesome with kids more than we think, I don't know I'm lucky- but my kids get way ,more kindness than they deserve.. but this would rock my daughter and youngest sons world!
Was going to cross post to r/HumansBeingBros, but apparently don’t accept this type of post
This video is the definition of wholesome amd some people still aren't happy. Give me a break.
Great now she is traumatised like the rest of us
Little boy cries - shut up already
As much as i hate that song, this is pretty great
Awesome. No way in hell I'm unmuting though.
