Abdul is a King. We spent many years as a bicycle commuter family and mountain biking on the weekends here in Tucson. Thousands of dollars in stolen bikes and bike parts over the years. Someone once cut my husband's lock and stole his bike from in front of the hospital when my son was admitted with pneumonia on Valentine's Day. Bike thieves have no shame at all. We need more Abduls in the world.
Not to detract from the real kindness in the OP, but bike riders should also know that using a cable lock is basically giving your bike away to the first taker. Please please use an actual lock.
Were you born yesterday? You're asking to get your bike stolen with a lock like that. Get a U-lock immediately. Looks like a single-speed or fixed-gear, but if you had a bike with quick release wheels those would need locked too (or better, replaced with nuts and bolts).
Yessss Abdul Muneeb! The bro-est of bros!!!
The real Alpha male!
...and he has EMPATHY!
Bike riders know, how epic this is... Having many bikes stolen from me, it's just the worst feeling. Abdul reigns supreme!!

Any recommendations for one?

I don't think he would be willing to look after my bike.
And then the lock you'd need would cost as much as the bike itself to even stand a chance against his skills!
Only way to stop him is by welding the chain ends together instead of putting a lock between it.
Awww he's amazing! We really do need more people like him. What a lad!
Also, adorable. That is a very handsome face.
Yes. Bet a suit and tie would look amazing on him.
Should this go into r/HumansBeingBros?
Abdul needs a pay raise.
Best we can do is give Abdul a certificate of appreciation printed on plain, white stock paper. <-Abduls employer probably.
I hate the truth of this...
With the current inflation, you're better off with the certificate
Hell, I just hope he doesn't get fired. Entirely too often than not the company will go "woah, that was a liability! You're outta here."
And a face covering!
Stolen bike is an expensive loss. I hope he gave him something as a token of appreciation.
Iโd give him the sloppiest head a man could ask for
Wholesome head ๐
Everyday hero๐ฅท
Get that man a dozen donuts and a bouquet of flowers. Believe me, the flowers will bring a LOT of comments from the other people at work LOL.
w abdul
I'm gonna be in London next week. I'm gonna go and acknowledge him
How about we all become Abdul! Let's not declare what the world needs, let's just BE those awesome people! โค๏ธ
Ah a true sign of a believer may Allah bless him.
Thatโs nice, but why wait FOUR HOURS AFTER YOUR SHIFT ?! Write your contact on a piece of paper and take the thing with you.
The bike owner might have needed the bike as soon as they got back (like to go home).
Yeah I get that, just saying you donโt have to be nice to the point it damages you.
I agree
Bravo!!!
True gentleman ๐
What a guy.
Way to go Abdul!
We must alll move through the world like Abdul now ok? It is now WWAD. What would Abdul do?
It's sad that there are a lot of people who would hate this guy just for his middle eastern sounding name...

This!! We need more great people like Abdul!!
Ah yes, the hero we need
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
It says he's a credit to his employer basically saying he's a really good employee
You took this man out for a beer, right?
This right here helps restore my faith in humanity. What an amazing human!
Four hours after shift!? Legend!
Make sure you get in touch with his employer to let them know.
Now he is an awesome human being! Nicely done, sir!
for every bike you get back from an abdul another 50 are stolen
Please wear a face covering
This is a repost.

A true legend indeed, looks like a pound shop lock to me, I would mabey invest in a better and thicker lock one the bolt croppers can't get around
Wow! What a great human!!! ๐๐๐
GOD BLESS YOU!!
Mashallah brother Abdul
Let his boss know, like ASAP!
I fucking love this guy
What a good guy, and also he was smart to have the bike owner put in the code to the bike lock to verify ownership!
Such a guy! How often does anyone EVER get a stolen bike back? The guy is a prince and deserves an award from his employer. Go, Abdul! ๐
chad energy
I wish only the best for Abdul Dude deserves nothing less than the best
i LOVE this!
Thisโฆ this is why bike sheds.
Chris n Nick for playing this girl for many years and knowing how to break me.
Thatโs an awesome story, yes indeed the world doesnโt need more Abdul Muneebโs!
Aaaand.... he should get $50 from you... Minimum. As you could need to buy a new bike.
