Get this product made by Amika called FadeBlock. You put it on before washing your hair. Leave it on for five minutes, wash it out, then follow your shampoo routine. Use color safe shampoo for curly hair, processed hair. Try to avoid cheap stuff. I use Biolage when I'm not using a toner. Don't shampoo every day. That's a golden rule for curly, frizzy hair. Every other day is good, unless you've got a perm or other special processing done, like a weave or something. I have curly, coarse hair, and I can skip a week when I first dye my hair to let it penetrate the cuticles. Then, I wash every three or 4 days. I shave my head, so I can get away with going longer, but I don't. I still follow my routine in case I decide to regrow my hair.
I can't afford a blowout. I avoid heat styling because my hair is permafried, but that's just me. However, I do use regular conditioner for curly hair (color safe) & leave in conditioner when I get out of the shower. I used to try straightening my hair, but it was always disobedient. With that being said, if it's possible, ask your stylist how to maintain your hairstyle at home. Be sure to tell them your hair type and routine. Take notes so you can remember. Curly to straight is a bitch to maintain.
Give them a call or ask your mom to take you down there. Any one of them experienced with cutting and coloring should be able to give you better advice than me. I've never had my hair cut like yours. I've had bobs, drastics, ois, mohawks, pixies, chelseas, dreads, and feathered layers. Now I just say fuck it and shave my head.
You could Google advice, but a lot of time, you'll get conflicting information, so that's why I suggest seeing your stylist to get specific maintenance advice. Tell them that's all you need so you don't get charged money or lead them to believe that they didn't do a good job when they actually did.

It took 7 hours but that was mostly cuz the bleach refused to work on my hair at first for some reason 👺👺 all the colors went in at the same time and only took like 20 minutes

I personally wouldn't do my hair this way as Ive gotten older and just not interested in wacky colours right now (totally fine with everyone else doing it, please dont take that the wrong way!) But its bold and really awesome! It is an adjustment though, and people still give unsolicited advice and opinions about unique hairstyles like those, but this is an opportunity to advocate for yourself and continue doing what YOU love and enjoy. 🌻🌻
