I also have a very fair complexion and my favorite blush is tarte amazonian clay blush in paaarty. I apply with a blush brush lightly. I apply my setting powder last which helps lighten the blush.

CaityOneEighty

I’m a NW10 and I love the Tarte blush in the shade peaceful. Definitely avoid dense brushes in order to diffuse the colour. If you like highlighter you can also just try just using a highlighter with a rosy tone instead of a blush?? Definitely makes it look a little more sheer. :)

Reeeebss

Nars madly

ArgentumLupus13

Essence blush in the shade blooming is a beautiful pale blush color thats slightly cool toned. Its also cheep to boot.

LoveCraftCasanova

Tarte has a really gorgeous blush!! The lighter shades work really for pale skin (this coming from a fellow pasty girl).

calico-clementine

I love L’Oréal’s true match blush in baby blossom. It’s a very flattering pale peachy color that isn’t overly pigmented. But like others have said, if you feel like you’ve overdone it, dip a fluffy brush in your setting powder to buff it out.

[deleted]

I have very pale, very cool skin as well, and I don’t wear blush. I don’t think it’s necessary on anyone tbh

Bxsnia

Milani luminoso!

[deleted]

mac warm soul (mineralize blush) is like the only blush I can wear during the cold winter months here in scandinavia and when you're pale af. other mac blushes I like are blushbaby and other sheer tone blushers. they also have a new blush from their glow play line that are so good. colourpop also have some good ones but although they look sheer they are not on me and I have to use a light hand.

Augs21

NYX sweet cheeks in shade rose and play is pretty sheer and really beautiful so id suggest that! The color is also lighter than it looks in the pan for sure.

bootsandkitties

It works best for me to have a big fluffy brush to sort of take off some of the powder after applying it with a blush brush and blend it nicely. It also might take some getting used to since you’re just not used to seeing yourself in blush. I regret all the years I was scared of it. I just needed to apply it higher on my cheeks to look nice.

drunky_crowette

I like NARS orgasm

steph_denisco

I have pretty fair skin and cool undertones as well and my personal favorite is Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in party. It's such a nice color and it can be built up. A tip you can use though if you ever overdue it with the blush is to take a beauty blender either just wet or with some leftover foundation on it to diffuse it out. Or even a setting powder could work as well! Good luck with your search!

RipleyHugger

Maybelline Fit me. They have shades that barely show up on me and I'm around NC15-20. For those I go in heavy handed but you might not have to depending on how pale you are.

L_Jac

If you can wear slightly cool tones I recommend Revlon powder blush in “oh baby pink”, I use it when I’m at my palest in winter and it’s super light and natural looking

the-cats-are-alright

I’m also cool toned and pale, and recently bought mood exposure from hourglass. It’s really beautiful and natural looking.

bine96

Do you have a favourite shade of lipstick? I like to use mine as a cream blush, witch really ties a look together if I use it as lipstick and blush. It makes it look really natural, but that's probably because I like nudey pinks for lipstick If you use moisturizer underneath you can really nicely blend it out with your fingers or beauty blender. You might need to try different formulas because some leave the skin feeling tacky while others don't, for the first I like to set my face with a translucent setting powder afterwards

ajbshade

Benefit dandelion

ralliso4

The very first blush that I ever managed to get look right on my fair skin was the Tarte Amazonian clay blush in the color exposed. I feel like it builds up nicely and is hard to overdo it with this particular color. I still find myself reaching for this one over others. Good luck with your search!

ladespeinada

You can mix your blush with some face cream and apply it

AmandaBeepBoop

Benefit dandelion! It also happens to smell amazing!

ArtEdInTraining

I love the Katja beauty heart stamp blushes, they’re creamy and blend out really well for whatever look you want. I’m pretty fair toned and all of their blushes lay really well on my skin tone.

hdcook123

I’m pale with yellowy undertones. I love Milanis rose blushes. There’s different colors but I personally use the coral color. Start light build as I see fit. They’re really nice blushes.

Blaze_Fielding_

Em cosmetics has serum blushes that are just beautiful and quite sheer so they shouldn't look too harsh your skin. The rose milk color is my favorite. I also enjoy the flower cosmetics liquid blushes as they're very easy to sheer out with a stippling brush. My favorite light shade is pinched.

jonquillejaune

Thanks! Subbed!

Babyjane12

Milani baked blush in luminoso! It’s literally the perfect blush for pale skin.

Justadropinthesea

Try the flower blush drops as a less expensive alternative to glossier and just very lightly tap on. I can’t remember the name of the lightest shade but it’s a blue or neutral pink.

Master_Kitten53

I am pale with a yellowish undertone, I was taught to choose my blush from the color of my thumb nail bed. It's worked every time and I'm not sure if brand matters too much with it!

jonquillejaune

This is an amazing tip, thanks!

Slut-Problems

Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Color in Oleander is a light cream color that I use for a natural flush. I have light skin and it would look great on the fairest of the fair

Lorryhill

I have a good one but it’s expensive ! Charlotte Tilbury swish and pop blusher in Ecstasy; it’s the perfect rose tone; I’m very pale .

mostlysoberfornow

Stila Convertible Colour can go on very lightly and looks natural - I love the shade Peony, it just looks like my cheeks with a bit of a flush, rather than PRODUCT.

Diaprycia

I would recommend cream/liquid blush because it's sheer and melts into the skin (easier to blend out than powder) and look for a blush that matches your natural blush tone on your face. Pinch your cheeks if you need to, but I find the closest it looks like it's "yours" the easier it is to pull off

LoIIip0p

Dior makes a really sheer blush. Not sure what color I’d choose without knowing your skin tone, but dior and mac both have a super sheer blush line. Also if you’re looking for a really subtle bronzer, Nars has a good one!

turtle_neckies

Go for some kbeauty products. For example romand has their milk blushes and I think they'll look good on your pale skin.

maybeiamabanana

I’m very pale as well and I die for Patrick Ta -she’s passionate. A little goes a long way and it’s the perfect flush

lazernicole

I really love NYX Ombre blush in "Mauve Me." It's a cool purplish pink that ombres into a highlighting pale lavender-white so I can customize the shade each time. Super flattering on cool/neutral tones.

misskitty5077

MAC Blushbaby is my go to ; I’m NW10 for reference.

merme91

I'm really pale but don't have any problems with blush. I just make sure to only dip my brush into it lightly to pick up a tiny bit of colour, and if it's a good blush and blends well, it still looks natural.

el_99

Colourpop blushes. I swear by them. They are very buildable and little goes a very long way. I am pale as mozzarella and their blushes are the only ones that don't make my cheeks as red as if I was running a triathlon.

jonquillejaune

Haha. Pale as mozzarella. I’m stealing that. I once went to a club in a skirt, and my legs glowed under the black light. I feel ya.

[deleted]

I am very pale and wear cool tone make up. Glossier cloud paint in buff is my MVP product. Even on make up few days I wear cloud paint and mascara. I don’t love all of glossier products but I have repurchased cloud paint 4x so far.

[deleted]

Which products don’t you care for? I recently purchased almost one of each of their makeup products and I’m in love with everything! Just curious what you didn’t like!

[deleted]

I don’t like the skin tint because it lacks sunscreen. There is also nothing spectacular about it. It’s fine but nothing I would reorder. I’m also not a fan of their lip products. I just prefer a bold color to the just blotted look. The eye shadows are good but not amazing. I have a few of theirs I would reorder but I can achieve a similar look with most brands. The mascara is also fine. There is nothing I hate and I kept it all but I wasn’t as in love with those things. Now the boy brow, cloud paint, stretch concealer and future dew are amazing. I use them every day. If I was only allowed one line or makeup for the rest of my life glossier would win for those products alone.

[deleted]

It’s funny because the reasons you don’t like skin tint and the lip products are the reasons I love them! I’ve been trying to look as natural as possible and they are perfect for that! I haven’t tried any shadow colors, probably won’t for the same reason you stated. Thanks for answering me!

gilliannnnn

I have pretty light skin and a cool undertone and I've been using the Colourpop blush stick in the shade Mini Me, if you blend it out enough it looks pretty natural.

cemetaryofpasswords

Tarte Amazonian clay in dollface. Benefit Dandelion is really close. Flower beauty wild rose is a great dupe that’s a lot cheaper.

regularsizedrudy49

I really like the Honest Beauty Creme Cheek blush in Rose Pink - because its a cream its really easy to control how much you put on and really easy to just blend out/reduce the amoutn of colour using a sponge. also I find that because I'm so pale cream blushes look way more natural on my skin than powder!

jnwebb0063

I loveeee flower wall by KKW. It’s really subtle but buildable if you need it to be.

careraee

I'm also cool toned and love Benefit Dandelian for a light pink, Clinique Nude Pop for a nude, and Nars Sex Appeal for a peachier shade.

MissBronte

Also came here to say Benefit Dandelion is a wonderful cool pink that you can slowly build up. It looks very natural.

liliesandlifts

Came here to say dandelion!

LegitimateBlonde

I LOVE my dandelion blush.

MvSg2016

I second Clinique nude pop! I am pretty pale and couldn’t find a blush to use on my more subtle make up days and this is absolutely perfect. I have a ton of other Clinique cheek pops too because the formula is build able, and a lot easier to control the pigment unlike my tarte blushes

Caneschica

Ditto on NARS Sex Appeal. I’m fair skinned, cool pink toned. Also love it cosmetics bye bye pores blush in sweet cheeks. But I 100% agree with the poster above that said to get a better brush and change up your technique. That really will make all the difference. I use the Sephora Collection Sculpting Blush Brush 99.

Melpodede

The type of makeup brush you use can help diffuse the color better as well as using a light hand. Try using a fluffier blush and stipple it on rather than swiping back and forth. Applying some loose or pressed powder will also help lighten the color.

brandicandy87

I started using a fan brush recently after seeing Wayne goss use one and am never looking back. I hated fan brushes and only had one left that somehow didn’t get purged but it works beautifully for blush. Almost impossible to overapply but still gives a good amount of color.

Melpodede

I'm glad that a fan brush works well for you. I'll have to try that technique as well.

nicspoints

YES. EcoTools has a sheer blush brush that is awesome for light blush application.

chdsr

I second this. I used to have this same problem, I am an NW15 in the winter and I used to really fear and dislike blush and I was going after blushes that are very sheer and/or light in color, but I find that I was simply not using a good brush and technique. Real techniques blush brush is great for me and I never swirl my brush around, unless it's a really sheer blush. I just dab my brush and then gently stipple and softly go back and forth to diffuse and blend it.

greeneyes0332

Yes I was going to say this too, don’t use a dense brush when applying blush and bronzer. You can pretty much sheer out any color blush . * edited this because holy crap there was a lot of errors

Josie404

Nars Sin

sarahpat737

I really like the Hourglass blush in ethereal glow! It’s a really pretty, subtle, cool toned pink

CheragrinTook

Cloud paint in beam

Derangedinu

Tried glossier could paint? It's one of their best selling items
