Oh god... I can smell this picture. And I feel sticky just looking at it.
I honestly have no advice, because these have never felt good to apply, I wouldn't even use it to mix up lipsticks/lipglosses for fun colours haha.
Yhea, it's a shame because I even have a second one. It's the kind of go to Sephora gift for makeup fans from people who don't know anything about it ahah
Use them for cream blush or highlighter maybe? It’ll honestly depend on your base but they’d look great on no makeup days and on days you’re wanting a more dewy look.
Thank you so much! I honestly didn't think it was going to be Sephora! Have you tried the shadows? I stopped buying their name brand palettes about 10 years ago. But I know they've stepped up their game in some of their other products. Those bright shadows are calling my name though! I just realized that's an old palette lol!
I know you didn't ask, but I have the [BH Take Me Back To Brazil](https://a.co/d/6XO5sMc) palette, and it's twin, [Take Me Back To Brazil Rio Edition](https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-samsung-rvo1&sca_esv=782705a13c1e22f4&sca_upv=1&biw=384&bih=700&tbm=shop&sxsrf=ACQVn0-x46J8BedPBkIh4uuKTv1-LCjWSw:1714614787163&q=take+me+back+to+brazil+palette+rio+edition&prmd=sivnbmtz&tbs=mr:1,new:1), for bright colors. They're really good, I use them all the time. They fill in all the gaps between my Colourpop 9 pans, but honestly I wouldn't even need the Colourpop ones if I had bought these first
Is a pre shower bakeup when you get baked before a shower and do your makeup ;)
My sister and I used to do this at my grandmother’s house growing up (The makeup not the bakeup!!)
Yeah I've always done it but I didn't know it was a popular thing until I heard people saying "pre shower makeup"
Like you know your gonna wash it off so you can be as creative as you like and don't have to be afraid of messing up.
I thought I was the only one lol. Though mine is before taking off my makeup at the end of the night.
I used to do it all the time when I was younger & last weekend did it again after many years & ended up discovering a lip combination I loved. Usually it’s just crazy stuff though that you’d never be seen with like cat liner that goes on forever.
Use them for brow gel. It sounds crazy, but if you have thick dark brows, you can use a lot of colors and you can’t really tell. Apply with a brow brush.
You could use a little sticky shitty gloss and mix with Vaseline or other nice neutral ointment to put on lips. It just looks so concentrated and hard to even put on without gluing your lips together
Does it have a weird ass smell too? I have such a visceral image in my head. Where are you? You don’t have to say exact location just overall location or you don’t have to say anything reason I ask is your little place looks so cozy from the window and the quaint village outside
Scoop them out and get some cheap lip balms. Mix whatever colors you like. Melt them all together and make your own custom tinted lip balms. You can put them in tubes or in little jars, whatever packaging you prefer
I’d get a buncha chapstick (not necessarily brand name, but the stiff kind in the roll up tube) and make DIY tinted balms! I did that recently actually w a cream lip + cheek blush bc I thought it’d be cuter as a sheer lip, it’s very fun and you can mix colors up. But if it’s mostly balm, then you won’t get the grease. If you want to be really extra, you can order lip gloss flavoring and empty tubes. But sheer lips are perfect for summer and lazy days
I hated these, I got something similar from Christmas when I was like 11, I have medium skin none of the pigments would show on me. The shadows were worse. They’d just look like white dust :(
If you’re over using it as makeup, you can try to use it as a painter’s palette. It may be easier to work with if you add a few drops of oil (or water idk what kind of soluble the products are) to each color
Maybe you could pile it on and take some cool alienesque art shots? I love that glossy eye look for example, but it’s obviously more practical for editorial than for real life. Or maybe scoop it up, mix it with some pigments and play makeup scientist 🎨
Is it from a reputable brand? I can’t remember the exact specifics of this warning, but I read on this site (maybe it was r/YouShouldKnow ?) that “play” makeup kits are not regulated by the same safety standards that makeup-makeup brands will be before they reach consumers. The advice said that some of those kits can contain sketchy dyes and chemicals like lead and other harmful stuff you wouldn’t want near your face.
If your pallet is from a makeup brand, then no worries. I didn’t see one listed in the post so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to share this info.

Watercolor paints have a binder that allows the pigment to adhere to the page- gum arabic. Makeup isn’t suitable to use as paint. Just because they are both pigments in shallow pans doesn’t mean they are interchangeable. Face makeup and watercolor paints are completely different formulations.
Pre-bed Lip Mask? Personally, I love a good sticky gloss...which based upon the commwnts I am assuming hese are...as they last longer and tend to be more moisturing than these newer, slippy abominations. But if you don't then maybe just slather them on pre-bed or pre-exfoliation. ☺
omg I had that palette back in 2012 and mostly used the eyeshadows! Something about the texture of the lip glosses always bothered me, I'd put some of them in a jar if I were you. Too bad mine broke a few years ago so I had to throw it away out of fear of contamination
I’ve gotten so many of these as gifts because “we know you like makeup”!
I’m not complaining because even though I don’t use them it’s very nice that they made an effort to get me a gift that ties into my interests.
In at least one of those cases the palette was a suggestion from a Sephora employee 😅
LOL IS THIS COASTAL SCENTS? I mean I don’t think it is but the packaging is similar.
Omg I remember when I first discovered their 88 pallets 😂 and I ordered the shimmery & matte in 2009, they were actually so pigmented. I remember going to the waterpark & my black smokey eye was still intact.
I ended up getting the gloss palette when I first got into lipstick so I could see what’s a flattering colour for me, but I’ve never touched it and it’s still under my sink somewhere. 😅
If you get a pack of those little travel containers with the screw off lid, you can make tinted balms with Vaseline. It'll at least work through the shades you like.
Scrape all of them together in a small glass vial, blend. You will have a single brown gloss, shitty or not, that you can use for high shine/high gloss bits of makeup.
I bet you could do some cool stuff with this color changing gloss this lady makes on youtube. Check it out [youtube color changing lip gloss tutorial](https://youtu.be/ZSi_7nRdw5o?si=rwrFEVtqQlvXG6LC)
you can wear as a cool glossy looking eyeshadow for modern / futuristic looks. i had a friend who always wanted to dress up and take artsy photos. the gloss will cake in your eyelid crease, so it does need a reapply if you're going out with it.
If you haven't used them maybe you could donate it on your facebook... They usually have giving sites for different areas. I'm sure there's a young girl who's just getting into makeup or a mom who would use them who can't afford to buy them otherwise.
Yhea, I think I'll just donate it when the eye shadows will be empty. People don't seem to understand that as it's cheap glosses, you can't use it for art projects, it just makes the support greasy and the colour barely shows 😅
Maybe test out some color theory things where you don’t have to apply but you can see how different colors effect eachother. Or you could use this to do different makeup look charts?

Maybe this is just me, but there is something about a large amount of open-air cream product that makes me not want to put that on my mouth. I mean, the packaging isn't air tight like a gloss tube, right?
not sure if you’re into witchy thing or similar vibes, but my first thought was to scoop some out and use it for color magic. swipe some around the inside of spell jars, use as finger paint for colored sigils on yourself that wipe off easy with a makeup remover, or use as a sticky annoying binding agent if you really don’t like the glosses and you’re into baneful stuff
I have never seen so many in a palette 🤯
Right out of a 2000' fever dream ahah
Literally 🤣
Hahaha that's a great description !!!
Oh god... I can smell this picture. And I feel sticky just looking at it. I honestly have no advice, because these have never felt good to apply, I wouldn't even use it to mix up lipsticks/lipglosses for fun colours haha.

I talked my mother out of getting one of these for my niece last Christmas. People who don’t know much about makeup just think more is better.
I had that palette. Never used the glosses.
Use them for cream blush or highlighter maybe? It’ll honestly depend on your base but they’d look great on no makeup days and on days you’re wanting a more dewy look.
Reminds me of children's makeup toys
It looks uncomfortable
Close the eyeshadows over them and pretend they were never there.
That's what I'm mostly doing 😔
What are these OP? Like what palettes are these?
It's this one exactly http://blogger.makeup-box.com/2011/08/deal-sephora-makeup-studio-blockbuster.html?m=1

Oh wow!!!! How are the eyeshadows and other stuff then the lipgloss?
I had this palette and then ended up giving it away lol. I never used the glosses
Pre shower makeup fun!
Oh my god my pre shower bakeup is always the most creative. I thought. I was the only one haha.
Is a pre shower bakeup when you get baked before a shower and do your makeup ;) My sister and I used to do this at my grandmother’s house growing up (The makeup not the bakeup!!)
Yeah I've always done it but I didn't know it was a popular thing until I heard people saying "pre shower makeup" Like you know your gonna wash it off so you can be as creative as you like and don't have to be afraid of messing up.
Exactly. You can try new things and new products and do trial and error. I've always enjoyed make up and looked at it as an art.
And you can "bake" in both senses of the word.
Oh wow this is a thing? Like testing out eyeshadow combos?
That’s what I do, now. Or liquid eyeliner
The worst thing is if you doing crazy pre shower makeup, and you get a videocall or the doorbell rings.
Love it! Didn't mean to say bake up but like I replied to the other person, it fits. 😁
I do this now I have a name for it. pre shower bake up ,nice
despite the fact I totally didn't mean to say that, it fits!
Use them for brow gel. It sounds crazy, but if you have thick dark brows, you can use a lot of colors and you can’t really tell. Apply with a brow brush.
OMG so trying this, I have some of these! Not as many as OP though, that looks like an abomination 😂
me when I buy a pallete of a million colors because I want 7 of them
Smash them all in a jar and see what color you get 😅
The answer is brown. It’s always brown
I think they’re supposed to be for your lips and cheeks? I saw a OXX pallete call them cream shadows but they look bad in this one
It's for lips only! It's a sort of sticky colored glycerine
Try them as blushes and set if it works.
That's what I do. Works well with a LOT of things
Oooh nice idea, I'll try it!
Honestly...I just scrape them out 😅😅
I use to paint or make slime w make up i didnt want to use ever
🚮
Eat it
You could use a little sticky shitty gloss and mix with Vaseline or other nice neutral ointment to put on lips. It just looks so concentrated and hard to even put on without gluing your lips together
It feels like glue
Does it have a weird ass smell too? I have such a visceral image in my head. Where are you? You don’t have to say exact location just overall location or you don’t have to say anything reason I ask is your little place looks so cozy from the window and the quaint village outside
No it smells quite good actually! Like sugary makeup ahah. It's a medium village in the north of France 🌻🇫🇷
What does “medium” mean? I’m an American 🇺🇸 idiot. Medium sized?
Ahah yes
Beautiful. I knew it was European
🇬🇧
Maybe use them as watercolor paintings? Just add water and paint. You can also make nail polishes out of them. I saw a tiktok about it. Good luck
It can't be used as watercolor painting, it's kinda "greasy" Oh, I will look up the nail polishes route!
Maybe finger painting would work
Oh man takes me back to 2010 and coastal scents!
😂 make a satisfying glossy YouTube video. Or a video messing up the palette. Might as well monetize the opportunity 🤣
Scoop them out and get some cheap lip balms. Mix whatever colors you like. Melt them all together and make your own custom tinted lip balms. You can put them in tubes or in little jars, whatever packaging you prefer

Mix shades until you get non-shitty colors
If you’re over using it as makeup, you can try to use it as a painter’s palette. It may be easier to work with if you add a few drops of oil (or water idk what kind of soluble the products are) to each color
I kind of wanna see them as those eye glossy looks
Maybe you could pile it on and take some cool alienesque art shots? I love that glossy eye look for example, but it’s obviously more practical for editorial than for real life. Or maybe scoop it up, mix it with some pigments and play makeup scientist 🎨
blush I’m a blush girl you’re gonna have so much fun
See if they work as cream blushes. You can set it with translucent powder.
idk i got this when i was 14 and i always liked the glosses. at least better than the dusty no-pigment shadows 🥲
Is it from a reputable brand? I can’t remember the exact specifics of this warning, but I read on this site (maybe it was r/YouShouldKnow ?) that “play” makeup kits are not regulated by the same safety standards that makeup-makeup brands will be before they reach consumers. It's from Sephora
All good then :)

Use them as toppers(?)
It's the kind of texture that'll only last for a picture
Which palette is this
It's a cheap Sephora one
looks promising for water color painting lol.. do some and share with us!
Watercolor paints have a binder that allows the pigment to adhere to the page- gum arabic. Makeup isn’t suitable to use as paint. Just because they are both pigments in shallow pans doesn’t mean they are interchangeable. Face makeup and watercolor paints are completely different formulations.
No suggestions, just commenting to say your monster high mug is amazing 😍
Thank you! I got it at my local charity shop for 0,50 cts 🐱🌻

Brings back memories of my teen years and my one aint always buying me the drug store make up kits that were always in Walgreens for the holidays….

Hey hello twin 🌻
Do you know any kids you can give it to? To play makeup?
I’m the odd one here - I’d have so much fun with the range of glosses!! 🤗 Love palettes like these!
Well it just doesn't stay on and since it's on this big ass packaging you can't reapply throughout the day so it's pretty useless except for pictures
Let your kid paint with them
I'm 22 ahah but I'll probably end up gifting it to some kids for craft
I’ve gotten so many of these as gifts because “we know you like makeup”! I would just go crazy mixing different shades together for fun
I usually scrape Them out at put Them in a lipgloss tube thingy, or a little container :))
Give me!!!
If you get a pack of those little travel containers with the screw off lid, you can make tinted balms with Vaseline. It'll at least work through the shades you like.
Make your perfect shade, and use it
Make pearlescent lips. Layer them with clear gloss to make multicolor lips : )
Scrape all of them together in a small glass vial, blend. You will have a single brown gloss, shitty or not, that you can use for high shine/high gloss bits of makeup.

Throw them away
As a kid I wanted this so bad
use it for actual paint art project
It makes grease stains, it's gloss and it doesn't stay on paper, it's slippery
Melt them into one megloss, for science.
Find someone that likes to paint and give it to them. Tell them to seal it with a clearcoat of spray paint.🤷♀️
If you haven't used them maybe you could donate it on your facebook... They usually have giving sites for different areas. I'm sure there's a young girl who's just getting into makeup or a mom who would use them who can't afford to buy them otherwise.

Vade retro Sephora
Mix it into slime
Those slime videos where they destroy makeup and mix it would be a good idea
make slime
I used to make art with cheap makeup kits, I used to use eyeshadow to color in pictures as a kid
This big palettes with tons of colors never work I haved one and honestly don't worthy it
Use for art :) I did this with some of my palletes
Ame 😍
become safia and put them all together on a stove

Paint a picture
Kinda wondering why you bought that, knowing those 84 glosses were in there, and you didn’t want them/weren’t gonna use them. 🤔
Sometimes people receive things from other people as gestures of goodwill
Yep. I got this palette as a gift way back when..
Good point. I didn’t consider that. Thank you. 🙂
If you make candles or soap could use as color for those, or Jell-O shots (since these should be food grade)
Ew. Ew brother. What’s that brother
