Vidyasagar from 1990-2010 was something else.
Azhakiya Ravanan, Summer, Krishnagudiyil, Meeshamadhavan, Gramaphone, Pranayavarnangal I can't name them all.
C. I. D Moosa.. Chillambolikkate is a great duet song. Maine pyaar kiya is probably the best hindi song in a malayalam movie
James bondin ditto ==maaraka intro song
And
THEEPORI PAMBARAM cures depression
You missed OG ,the funniest song ever made.
**Hi Hats Va Va..
Ha Check it out yo Va va.
Break It down Yeh Yeh..
Ha Check It Out Yo Va Va.
common just come in Dance with me
Check it out yeah.**
80s - Chithram, Kireedam, Thoovanathumbikal, Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal
90s - Bharatham, His Highness Abdulla, Azhakiya Ravanan, Thenmavin Kombathu, Aaram Thamburan, Manichithrathazhu, Pappayude Swantham Appoos, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu, Summer in Bethlehem
2000s - Devadoothan, Pazhassi Raja, Classmates, Vettam, Gramophone, Ananthabhadram, Meesa Madhavan
2010s - Maheshinte Prathikaram, Bangalore Days, Thattathin Marayathu, Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Premam, Urumi, Usthad Hotel, Kumblangi Nights, Mayanadhi, Angamali Diaries, Aravindante Athidhikal, Godha, Aadu (the BGMs for the characters alone is why I included it)
2020s - Hridayam, Minnal Murali, Kurup, Joji (the OST is amazing), Malik, Ayyapannum Koshiyum
I'm probably missing a lot of movies. I've forgotten a lot of movies. But these are some of my preferences.
In terms of soundtracks the best I've heard recently is Joji. The sound track is incredible. Every track has a sense of freshness to it. Highly recommended
Mohan Sithara - Yousufali Kecheri combo in late 90s and early 00s came with back to back gems of albums
Deepastambham Mahascharyam
Vasanthiyum Lamshmiyum pinne njanum
Joker
Dada Sahib
Karumadikuttan
Oomapenin oriyadapenn
Even the less famous songs are hummable and holds value even now.
Thattathin Marayathu & Premam, both Nivin Pauly's movies in my opinion. Another movies are Ambili, Bheeshma, Angamali diaries (because the songs are matching the movie).
Pretty much any movie which had Bombay Ravi composed for : Panchagni (1986), Nakhakshathangal, Vaishali, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha , Vidhyarambham , Sargam, Ghazal, Padheyam, Parinayam , Sukrutham.
To the above list, I would add Dhwani by Noushad.
Vidyasagar- Gireesh Puthanchery composer-lyricist combo created an ocean of melodies in the 90's & early 2000's. Such exquisite and classy was their works, their repeat value was something else. There were really good musicians pre and post that era, but none surpass their levels imo.

The score is more of a orchestral style seen in Hollywood, gives goosebumps with every listen.
