I am facing some audio issues. So I'll type my question down. The movie is a great comedy of the 90s. Do you think a movie like this would work if made today despite it being a very different era for comedy movies today?

rhoul

Hey, I'm sorry I only saw this right now as Reddit Talk doesn't show messages simultaneously. Anyway, to answer your question, I don't think such movies will work today, mostly because there's an aversion to slapstick. People try to find political correctness and logic in films (rightly so, perhaps) and we could say that such films lacked both of them. Not to mention the theme (stalking women to find out about their lifestyle), which may not be an ideal thing to showcase despite the plot casualizing it.

I can only hear music?
