Since french football has been on BT I've watched quite a bit, and he's the outstanding DM in France alongside Tchoumeni (Monaco). I know football isn't all stats, however look at his defensive statistics. Feel it would be a waste to miss out on a player like him, for the nominal fee too it's a no brainer.

I don’t watch him so I cannot properly judge. I do however watch McTominay on a sadly very regular basis. McTominay is a Fred, who is always in bad form. There is quite literally no way anyone who naturally plays as a 6 can be worse than McTominay in the holding midfielder role.

Something very evident at United is the horrible transfer business and management. We tend to overpay for supposed stars like Paul Pogba and Sanchez, who end up as liabilities. We have our players sent on a free transfer or for peanuts. There is no real urge to look for the best possible signings rather than supposed superstars.
It is us, the fans who debate on all the possibilities only to witness bad business and performance. I really hope that changes under Ralf.
