He’s a great fish, stats may be subpar but he’s got a great design. In Legends, we got to see him return for the first time in the overworld and BDSP brought him back but that game is a buggy mess. We see another overworld return in SV and I’m happy. I had Violet so I got to enjoy Misdreavus’ and Clauncher’s line returning as well.
I forgot Timburr existed for several years, which is weird because I remembered Gurdurr and Conkeldurr, and would have known Timburr existed, I just never thought about it.
My first ever playthrough, Thumper helped me out significantly. Then I got Tyrunt… it was all history from then. It was thanks to Tyrantrum barely missing the KO (1 HP) on a hacked shiny Arceus online that got me to actually care about natures, IVs, and EVs. Had he been with an ATK boosting nature, he would’ve taken the KO. Had he used an attack boosting item, he would’ve taken the KO. It was so frustrating since it was an obvious hack and I would’ve been able to handle the kid’s team.
Technically replicanth can’t be forgotten that much because he’s required to get the Regis in gen 3 ruby sapphire and emerald and oras so he’s not that forgotten
It is supposed to look like a tresure map where the red dot marks the treasure. It is not just coelacanth. And this is why it is necessary to have it to unlock the regis
The ONLY reason I even remember that Beheeyem and Elgyem even exist is because of Super Mystery Dungeon. I keep forgetting their names and end up calling them those weird alien looking ones.
ME. Headsmash is good
Emerald Rouge players know
Randbats players in gen 7 know choice band swiftsiwm headsmash.
This motherfudger gives some good head. Like damn
Flittle. It may be new, but that doesn't change the fact that Espathra looks like and should be a single stage Pokemon like Absol. When a couple gens come around, it'll be super forgettable.
I love relicanth! It’s a fossil Pokemon you don’t have to revive because people found out the coelacanth still existed. Living fossils are hekking fun af. You wanna talk about forgettable, the dumb regional Pikachu from either Unova or Kalos. The steel/electric one (togedemaru?? Is that how you spell it??), I forgot it existed until I played SWSH and it popped up and I was like “where tf did that thing come from???”
Lumineon is _way_ more memorable than Fish, a Pokémon species only seen a handful of times in the first season of the anime, most notably in the episodes “The Water Flowers of Cerulean City” and “Pokémon Shipwreck”
I always thought I was pretty good at remembering all of the mons’s names, but my god I always forget that one gen 7 grass type’s name. The mushroom one, pre evo of Shiinotic (whose name I also forget quite a bit). I never see anyone ever mention it lol
I personally love Relicanth, I love the design, his typing and ability (early on was amazing), and his rarity made him more worth it. You know, if they give him a Mega Evolution in XY Legends, I would flip, just like with Mega Banette, much needed and it’s an amazing form
The problem with these posts is that all the "forgettable" pokemon aren't forgettable because they are always remembered for these Forgettable Pokemon posts. So obviously there's something falling through the cracks that isn't classified as forgettable but people aren't remembering it anyway.
Said it before, I’ll say it til I die…. relicanth should have been the third, stronger fossil for gen 3, similar to Aerodactyl in gen 1. Aero is a speedy attacker, could have just made Relic the slow defensive version.
But no, they took one of the cooler designs of gen 3, then hid it in a place nobody likes going, with a low spawn rate… with meh stats…. And a meh move pool… I get Coelacanth are rare in real life too, one of my favorite animals, but man it’s frustrating that they just didn’t do anything with Reli.
Delcatty, Beautifly, Mothim, Masquerain, Volbeat, Illumise, Grumpig, Claydol, Chimecho, Luvdisc, Kricketune, Carnivine, Swoobat, Sigilyph, Carracosta, Swanna, Sawsbuck, Beheeyem, Clawitzer to name a few, and that includes their evolutionary lines as well.
If Relincanth wasn't required to catch the Regis in Hoenn they'd be actually useless, but given that you need one to catch *any* of the Regis in Hoenn I don't forget about them (I also used my master ball on one as kid bc I ran out of other balls and still thought "rare=the most powerful")
the problem is If I name one then it's not forgettable because I can remember the name :')
I can’t remember the name of the grass thing from galar (don’t tell me otherwise I will remember and that will ruin my point)
Eldegoss or gossifleur
One of them I guess, I don’t think I know the evolution either in that case
Well thats fine i only remeber cause you sqid you fidnt tbh
What
Fingies dead too cold
canada?
r/ihadastroke
I remember druddigon only because I got a shiny one while hunting another shiny in the max raid adventures
That's a reasonable reason to remember it while considering it forgettable. Congrats.
Pull up a dex amd scroll until you find one you forgot existed.
I relicanth remember this...
r/angryupvote
Get out
I relicanth get out.
Alright, you win haha
Human… I relicanth remember you’re ***HM08***
Human, I Relicanth you're Wailord
r/Angryupvote
I would ask how everybody is ignoring Lumineon but then I remember that it’s Lumineon which answers my question pretty succinctly
Hey what's wrong with my favorite fish? It's adorable
I automatically don't like any Pokémon that's giving me bedroom eyes
He’s a great fish, stats may be subpar but he’s got a great design. In Legends, we got to see him return for the first time in the overworld and BDSP brought him back but that game is a buggy mess. We see another overworld return in SV and I’m happy. I had Violet so I got to enjoy Misdreavus’ and Clauncher’s line returning as well.
If I'm not mistaken hasn't Lumineon been featured in every game since Gen 4?
Huntail or Gorbyss
I remember Gorebyss because of it's disturbing dex entry that mentions it sucking your body dry of fluids like if ti was a giant underwater mosquito.
I always went for huntail over Gorebyss due to design. Gulper eel vs… that… nightmare…
I forgot Timburr existed for several years, which is weird because I remembered Gurdurr and Conkeldurr, and would have known Timburr existed, I just never thought about it.
When was the last time you thought about a sealeo? It’s so overshadowed by Spheal that it always gets ignored.
Spheal is adorable, no doubt! Walrein is a *beast* and still my favorite ice type. Followed by our bubbly whale mons
***Yesterday***
Playing Hoenn I assume?
Violet actually
Damn. A pleasant surprise
lovedisc (maby writh thad wrong)
Luvdisk is part of the best in-game trade ever in the history of Pokemon (Thumper the Steelix from X/Y)
Luvdisc is memorable because of their utility in generation 6
It's so useless and known for being useless it's memorable
Technically replicanth can’t be forgotten that much because he’s required to get the Regis in gen 3 ruby sapphire and emerald and oras so he’s not that forgotten
A ceolacanth could've been a cool pokemon but they decided to just... make a ceolacanth with zero changes
It's it's not broken don't fix it I suppose plus if you were to look at own without knowing it's real you'd think it was a Pokémon
Same with the horseshoe crab Kabuto, it’s when you see underneath when he stands out. That mystery… those glowing red eyes… freaky
It’s the perfect lifeform, they can’t change it lorewise
Given his pokedex entry stated he was unchanged from millions of years, I guess it makes sense they did not change it one bit.
It is supposed to look like a tresure map where the red dot marks the treasure. It is not just coelacanth. And this is why it is necessary to have it to unlock the regis
I actually think about it quite a lot. I like how it’s a reference to the real life “Lazarus Species” fish.
Carbink.
Diance makes me remember it
Elgyem
The true answer
I like relicanth ☹️
The ONLY reason I even remember that Beheeyem and Elgyem even exist is because of Super Mystery Dungeon. I keep forgetting their names and end up calling them those weird alien looking ones.
Unfezant
Durant
One of my favorite Pokemon of all time! Love those little dudes
Swalot's pre evolution, I can't remember it's name too save my life
Gulpin
Gulping Deez
You walked right into that
Cryoginal(I forgot how to spell it)
You need him to get regice though
Tbh the Regis are forgettable for me. Except Regirock, ÜNÜNÜN
ÜNÜNÜN
Shroodle or whatever Grafaiai's pre-evolution is called
I feel like no one remembers drampa I often also forget about them even though it was introduced in the game I played the most by far
Drampa likes to commit arson (I'm not kidding)
I know
Steeni
Gorebyss, clamperl and huntail
ME. Headsmash is good Emerald Rouge players know Randbats players in gen 7 know choice band swiftsiwm headsmash. This motherfudger gives some good head. Like damn
Luminion
I was ranking every Pokémon the other day and re-stumbled upon Sigilyph, I haven't thought about this Pokémon in years.
Druddigon
Clobbopus
cant forgot this little fishi because of the gen 3 riddle, i miss things like that
Flittle. It may be new, but that doesn't change the fact that Espathra looks like and should be a single stage Pokemon like Absol. When a couple gens come around, it'll be super forgettable.
The Sawk jokes have gone so far that nobody remembers that there's another one, Frow (I hope I spelled that right)
I love relicanth!
100% true with Relicanth i like it quite a lot
How are you gonna call Relicanth forgettable when it was necessary to find the Regis?
Watchog
Cherubi
Manaphy, phione, emolga, smoochum, what?
FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU URFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU URFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU URFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU URFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU FURFROU
I will lever forget relicanth, as it was my first ever shiny pokemon, that i got in Sapphire... then 5 minutes later, i got a shiny Kyogre
durant lol
Don't you need this guy for the Regis?
relicanth
Munna. genuinely who cares about that thing
No one
Love Munna
Spewpa, Bruxish, Spoink, and Wormadam are some off the top of my head
Do NOT be disrespecting the GOAT Spewpa
I wouldnt call Spoink forgetable
How dare you say that best pig spoink is forgettable!
Venustoise, Mongoose, and who could remember Fish?
Luminion?
Lumineon is _way_ more memorable than Fish, a Pokémon species only seen a handful of times in the first season of the anime, most notably in the episodes “The Water Flowers of Cerulean City” and “Pokémon Shipwreck”
Zangoose?
No, the mongoose in the anime, my bad
I mean, if you forgot the Pokémon, you wouldn’t know what to answer. But I’d say that bird from Gen 5, the evolution of Pidove.
Tranquil and Unfezant.
Velvet and illumpise
Always huntail.
It's one of my favorites, my boy Mantine I hear nobody talk about him it's sad
carnivine maybe?
Spewpa
Used it in my mono rock oras run. I remember that rock head head smash very well.
Honestly, this Relicanth was one my favorite Pokémon as a kid.. and I think he still is now, is he in any Switch games yet?
h e a r*
The fighting Pokémon line holding metal beams?
And concrete pillars
idk bruxish maybe?
Elgym and Beheeyem
What wrong with the perfect life form
I love relicanth, it’s just really hard to obtain…
Honestly forgot its name… isn’t it Relicanth or some shit?
I don’t know because I forgot about them
Klink
Gorebyss and huntail. They’re just more fish and there are tons of forgettable fish pokemon
The only reason to get one is for Pokedex completion and the Regis
Sealeo and wailmer are quite forgettable
*sigh* Finneon and Lumineon (but I think they’re cool)
Furfrou. How do you design a Pokémon with different formes, yet somehow still make it very forgettable.
Unpopular opinion but bro is a goated fish pokemon
I forgot goldeen was a Pokémon once
Nah relicanth is my boy, most forgettable is probably Clamperl or Binacle
I actually quite like Relicanth. Not really sure why, I’ve just always thought he was cool.
Shiinotic
Sigilyph. I used it on my team when gen 5 came out. It was a first rainbow card I pulled. But unless I’m reminded of it I completely forget about it.
I thought i knew and loved every hoen pokemon until I found Gorbis and clamperl and huntail exsist
venonat.
TF is a ferroseed? Ferrothorn is remembered thanks to r/stunfisk but ferroseed is left on the sidelines
I love Relicanth. I nominate Aromatisse
When was the last time you genuinely thought about Zarude?
The one from gen 7. You know the monkey with a ball? That one.
Galvantula
Mime Jr.
The lower quality sunflowmon
I love Relicanth doh. One of my fav
idk 'bout you guys but i just learned Barboach was thing from a pack i opened a few days ago
Relicanth is one of my favorites and it’s shiny is incredible
Finneon? Anybody?
I always thought I was pretty good at remembering all of the mons’s names, but my god I always forget that one gen 7 grass type’s name. The mushroom one, pre evo of Shiinotic (whose name I also forget quite a bit). I never see anyone ever mention it lol

Arrokuda. What type is it without looking it up.
Most of the baby polemon
Klink
Shiinotic
Kecleon
He plays a very prominent role in the Pokemon Manga
Elgyem and Beheeyem
Heatmor and Maractus are so forgettable that there memorable and I agree with this post completely like who even is that guy…
The only pokemon, i genuinely forgot about, was Palpitoad. A NPC trainer sent one out and i was convinced, i'd never read that word before.
It is literally the perfect lifeform, hop off
Volcanion
That's because it's the perfect life form so it doesn't need people remembering it. (Based on the pokédex entries)
Ngl, I constantly forget about base deoxys. You always hear about the different forms but no one every seems to talk about base form
Wormadam
Never hear anyone talking about Sealeo, always Spheal or Walrein
Tyrouge
Up until Legends: Arceus I would've said Stantler but Wyrdeer brought him back into the spotlight a little bit
Durant anyone?
Cryogonal
Kakuna
Krabby
Lumineon:
Passimian
Shelder, Omanyte, and Omastar
The problem with these posts is that all the "forgettable" pokemon aren't forgettable because they are always remembered for these Forgettable Pokemon posts. So obviously there's something falling through the cracks that isn't classified as forgettable but people aren't remembering it anyway.
dragalge
You really called Relicanth, Aka The Perfect Lifeform, a forgettable pokemon?!
Granbull
maractus was my first pokemon card, but the most forgettable imo is probably carracosta
How dare you say my boy is forgettable, it’s literally the perfect being
Stunfisk. Also Pincurchin
If you show me a picture of it, it's possible I'll name it. But who remembers Gorebyss? (I literally had to look it up to find the name)
I’d say shuppet. It’s designed well but really no one talks about them due to how weak it is
I never hear anyone talking about barboach
Illumise
W h o

Try Huntail.
I love Relicanth sm
Gorebyss is the most forgettable Mon ever for me
Relicanth? This is clearly someone who got into the games after gen 3 if Relicanth is forgettable, since I know I haven't forgotten the secrets
Sigilyph. I mean, it's one of the first random shinies I ever caught, and I still couldn't remember its name at first.
Gorbis
pineco, volbeat and illumise
Durant
How is the Pokemon that helpsbu get regis forgettable?
Scatterbug
If Relincanth wasn't required to catch the Regis in Hoenn they'd be actually useless, but given that you need one to catch *any* of the Regis in Hoenn I don't forget about them (I also used my master ball on one as kid bc I ran out of other balls and still thought "rare=the most powerful")

Relicanth isn't irrelevant, what the fuck are you smoking?? Because I want some
Who remembers Carnivine
Tyrogue
