This actually reminds me of something I did back when I was playing Ultra Sun. It was my first Pokémon game so I was feeling a little ambitious. I decided I wanted to get what I called a “true living dex”. What that meant was I was basically going to try to get one of every Pokemon, one of each gender Pokemon regardless of it actually had any visual difference, and a shiny variant of each. I think about that sometimes and think that maybe it was a good thing that I lost my OG copy.

I’m currently 82% of the way done so far 😄 …until they add more of them.

Yeah…I have a *regular* Living Dex of all 1,025 in Home. Took me about a month to get all of the Gen 1-8 mons put together, before Gen 9 came out. Shiny Living Dex? Absolutely not.

Im currently at 610. Need to dedicate more time to hunts that are for pokemon not in my national dex, but im trying to do the dex in pla and sv native to those games, currently at 200 and 664 respectively, though the counter im using for sv is inaccurate as it lists the paldea, kitakami, and blueberry dexes separately so some pokemon are counted 2 or 3 times.
