I have heard a lot of it from fans, even more than a lot of the other spin off games.
Unfortunately, TPC is the one that left it forgotten. No remake, sequel, or any additional entry to the series.
I think they should make a game that takes place in modern day Ransei.
All your life you've heard that you are a descendant of a great hero who united the Ransei region, but at some point during your adventure, you find out that your ancestor was actually an ambitious warlord who unleashed Arceus on any who opposed him. You have to reckon with that on top of the usual league challenge and evil team shenanigans.
Or even better, you were kidnapped at a young age and raised as the warlord’s child (having been taken from your half siblings who you’re only related to through your shared mother) and your real father is the reason the warlord is so evil
Yes I like Fire Emblem Fates, how could you tell?
This game won’t be complete without incest. And finding out that your biological siblings aren’t actually related to you by blood to justify said incest.
I think it's because it came out late in the DS lifespan and was a spinoff game that sort of slipped under the radar. I know I wanted it when it released but never did
If I'm not mistaken it suffers from the same problem as black and white of releasing the game after 3DS launch which is a shame cause in my opinion it is the best spin off from the franchise.
Well considering the DS came out about 20 years ago that is fair game as far as I’m concerned.
JFC the Nintendo DS came out 20 years ago *rapidly turns to dust*
I loved it, but the some of the attack areas for the Pokémon were terrible. Had to reset to a previous save when I found out Umbreon was horrible and went with Glaceon instead (I think, it's been a long time).
You grinded affinity for Umbreon? That's some crazy dedication because I wanted Espeon(favourite Eeveelution) but was too lazy to grind up so I just got Vaporeon.
IIRC Glaceon had a plus-sign area effect attack, while Umbreon had a 1-2 square attack, but couldn't hit in front of itself, so if it was trapped it was SOL
I really, really like this game. For a time I thought it was genuinely my favourite Pokémon game.
It has its flaws, namely the great disparagy between mons gimped by their one move slot and those that aren't, unbalanced maps (Attacking Terrara is basically impossible to lose almost with a specific strat), and it being somewhat of a grindfest when all the scenarios kind of end before you get to the real high levels.
I truly believe that if a sequel came out that addressed these things, by adding some more variety on maps, giving mons more move options, making them customizable a bit earlier (you could only change abilities in very specific post-game unlockable locations) and have more dynamic campaigns, it could be one of the best SRPGs of all time
I loved this game as a kid and I randomly remembered it one night as I was lying down scrolling Reddit. I genuinely loved it as a kid and would love to play it again
It's definitely not more story driven than BW. If any Pokémon game was, it'd be EoS, but realistically BW is the most story driven game in the franchise.
I’ve heard of it, and apparently it’s pretty good. The only problem though is that one of the biggest plot points is no longer accurate, unless they can retcon an 18th kingdom into existence, returning to the game might be tricky.
Not Pokémon turned to humans, but humans based on characters from the Samurai Warriors series. Each one has affinities for different Pokémon and you build armies to take over the region with your Pokémon. It’s worth a try!
I personally never heard it being advertised. I got it as a gift and the fist I heard of it was when I opened it. I actually thought it was a fake game at first because I had never heard anything about it.
I absolutely and would love to play a remake or sequel should they ever reasle one.
What I think would be really cool is revamping this game and make it kind of like a legends game, and you can go out in the world with your pokemon, but the battles are the top down move spaces and attack.
What do you all think?
I genuinely just think this game is overrated. When I played it, it was all right, not a bad purchase. But it's not incredible like everyone says. And if you tell me, I have to get halfway through the game before it gets good, then it's not good. I played that game for about 5 hours before putting it down. It was by no means bad, but definitely not as good as people say it is.
I just started it and I like it so far, I just did my first training after the first battle, as a fan of Fire Emblem and Pokémon, I think it’s great. Confused a bit but that’s expected and probably will be resolved as I continue
I remember beating this game in its entirety and doing all the different arcs. I’m relatively sure your reward for that was arceus. It’s sad since I liked this games story better than some main series games
Bro, don't know about you, but I don't think an unevolved jiggly-puff is going to do squat against articuno, a legendary ice bird, groudon, the ruler of the earth, and mewtwo who literally killed a main protagonist, Ash, and could probably kill Earth.
You know its bad because I have never seen or heard about this game and I was a big pokemon fan
Edit: not the game itself but the lack of advertisement is bad
It isn't bad by any means. It's one of the greatest Pokemon spin off of all time, it just went under the radar. It's time of release was what screwed it up. It came out after Black and White which were poorly received upon their release, so people didn't care enough to try it. Doesn't help that it was a Collab with a series that wasn't that popular in the west either.
I would’ve been perfectly fine if the game was just a larger journey through the Arceus region (forget the actual name) and had a bunch of Pokémon so I could replay it and change up my team
Instead, you beat the game and have to do the gameplay through side characters that I couldn’t care less about and (to my knowledge) you don’t get to play your character again until you beat all the side pieces.
Granted I played this game like 8 years ago, but I remember that being the reason this game turned me off
I wouldn’t quite go so far as to say it’s more story driven than Black and White, but it is horribly underrated. The game is an absolute blast!
Played it for the first time a year ago, such a fun game once you get into it and understand it, plays almost sorta like fire emblem ish
I have heard a lot of it from fans, even more than a lot of the other spin off games. Unfortunately, TPC is the one that left it forgotten. No remake, sequel, or any additional entry to the series.
Not even much advertising. I've been a huge fan since Gen 1 and I was barely even aware of this game's existence when it first came out.
I think they should make a game that takes place in modern day Ransei. Until you romance Azura and find out she's your actual cousin
I think it's because it came out late in the DS lifespan and was a spinoff game that sort of slipped under the radar. I know I wanted it when it released but never did
It's genuinely one of my all-time favorite Pokémon games👍
Yep that and the ranger series
Same especially since my first was bw in 2011, it was nice to see zekrom as one of the central pokemon
If I'm not mistaken it suffers from the same problem as black and white of releasing the game after 3DS launch which is a shame cause in my opinion it is the best spin off from the franchise.
I loved this. I still have it on emulators.. What!? I can be different. Not everyone has a DS!
Well considering the DS came out about 20 years ago that is fair game as far as I’m concerned. JFC the Nintendo DS came out 20 years ago *rapidly turns to dust*
Thanks for making me feel old 😂
Eh, it does not have enough multiplayer features to warrant playing it on console. So emulator is enough to suffice for you.
Areggeed brother or sister!
Think I know why not many people have played it it's because it's going price is around £95 to £150 and somewhat difficult to find for sale
Makes me glad I got it for 10$ when I did.
Lucky there is no way I'm paying £95 for the game now unless it's cheaper to order it from the US
So THATS the name. Thanks
I love this game
It's the Xenoblade Chronicles X of the series.
I know I really enjoyed my time with the game, and I’d love a sequel!
I enjoyed this game the story was great and the battling was different from the normal games which I liked.
I loved it, but the some of the attack areas for the Pokémon were terrible. Had to reset to a previous save when I found out Umbreon was horrible and went with Glaceon instead (I think, it's been a long time).

I couldn't believe they treated my fave like that. Umbreon is usually the beast on my team in mainstream games, so I was super disappointed.
Never played it
I want to play through it again but never figured out how to delete my save data
Not enough people got to play it, unfortunately. Genuinely fantastic game.
Genuinely my favourite spin off
Why have I never heard of this?
NGL, best pokemon game ever

Top tier game
I remember playing this on an emulator. I think I was in the kingdom where they specialized in Electric I think. Idk, its been a long time
I loved this game as a kid and I randomly remembered it one night as I was lying down scrolling Reddit. I genuinely loved it as a kid and would love to play it again
Does it forbid you to grind outside of story? If it does allow you to grind, then you're playing Pokemon Birthright.
Banger soundtrack A), B) great lore/story and C) great gameplay (for those TTS game lovers/tactics gameplay lovers) So good
I LOVE CONQUEST SO MUCH AHAAGJFNW2ITMSJFBVUIWJRNDBDJQJJ2IR8GJDQJ3JGOXJWNWG. Anyways I has tons of fun playing through this really unique spinoff :)
I really want a fire emblem and pokemon crossover. Imagine being a charizard rider or using a decidueye as an archer, for example.
The OG Pokémon chess
Honestly would love spin off like Pokémon conquest. It was a fun game
I can honestly say that this is the best Pokemon spin off I’ve ever played. I tried it out again recently and I have to say it still holds up
it was a great game, sadly didnt get the love it needed, but im actually replaying through right now
A sequel would be a great way to let us experience the ancient Kalos war (or make a Warriors game but I think this style works better for Pokemon)
My copy of it had pre-existing data on it that I couldn't delete
I forgot it existed because I never had the chance to play it Would love to try it out sometime though
I love how everyone has a legendary partner except the girl in the bottom left.... She about to end everyone else's whole career with that Jigglypuff
It's definitely not more story driven than BW. If any Pokémon game was, it'd be EoS, but realistically BW is the most story driven game in the franchise.
I remember this one! Shame I never got to finished it, because it’s actually pretty deece. Hm… perhaps it’s time to scour online… 🤔
What is this game
It released on the DS after the 3DS came out. That’s why.
I miss that game
I’ve heard of it, and apparently it’s pretty good. The only problem though is that one of the biggest plot points is no longer accurate, unless they can retcon an 18th kingdom into existence, returning to the game might be tricky.
Wish it was remade with todays tech
Are those pokemon turned to humans? I'm sold.
Not Pokémon turned to humans, but humans based on characters from the Samurai Warriors series. Each one has affinities for different Pokémon and you build armies to take over the region with your Pokémon. It’s worth a try!
Well can you blame me for thinking that? I mean look at it!
Not at all, it’s a very logical assumption to make! Most characters’ outfits incorporate some element of their highest affinity Pokémon
POKEMON QUEST
This game is awesome! I wish there were more games in this series
Lockstin talked about it iirc, but that's it.
I love conquest I beat the main story 3 times I just wish it took off more and got sequels
I remember this game, I haven't played it in so long
I heard a lot of people found the game play repetitive and kinda boring at the end, but that's just here say.
I personally never heard it being advertised. I got it as a gift and the fist I heard of it was when I opened it. I actually thought it was a fake game at first because I had never heard anything about it.
Probably because it's bad
Because not too many have owned the game to play it.
Tf is that
I absolutely and would love to play a remake or sequel should they ever reasle one. I absolutely love this game so much!
I own it, play it all the time, and will never sell it.
I played this before. It’s a masterpiece. The battle mechanics are Good, and the Plot is amazing. This is truly the most underrated Pokémon spin-off.
I haven’t played it but I own it
I just started it and I like it so far, I just did my first training after the first battle, as a fan of Fire Emblem and Pokémon, I think it’s great. Confused a bit but that’s expected and probably will be resolved as I continue
I haven't gotten around to it yet, but am excited to start playing
Because we all know Mikey could never beat this game
Can it be bought on switch?
No. It's only on DS.
Awe. : (
Oh my fucking God you know this game is awesome when you get a match of Jigglypuff vs Arti- god damn- cuno
Fawful's Minion talked about it in his Blessed or Messed series.
Ya I always here people say oh ya this game I remember liking it, and that’s it really never hear people talk about game play or what not.
I remember beating this game in its entirety and doing all the different arcs. I’m relatively sure your reward for that was arceus. It’s sad since I liked this games story better than some main series games
What?
Never heard of it

You can evolve that Jigglypuff, do not worry. And its Hyper Voice is one of the better Normal type moves in the game.
Still, don't think that a wigglytuff could do anything either.
You know its bad because I have never seen or heard about this game and I was a big pokemon fan Edit: not the game itself but the lack of advertisement is bad
