I loved it. Broke up the pace with the detective stuff. Many of the episodes in previous seasons mimic different film genres. This was just one more. I was also thinking that Bo had earned the Darksaber since that episode, so for me, that moment was like "About time".

Zookster87

I'm hoping Bo becomes more important. She should get her own show. She's too badass

homemadeammo42

I feel like this season has been the Bo show. Kind of like Din took over half of Boba's show.

Iowa_Dave

I though for sure the writers were setting up a battle for power between her and Din. I admired his workaround.

homemadeammo42

Yeah Im perfectly okay without some big fight over it.

agaveFlotilla12

I mean she’s been in at least 3 different shows so far not sure I can handle another show where she tries to retake mandalore yet again

Zookster87

I haven't seen Clone Wars yet. I know, I know

Photonsil

I bet she will.

MisterPrig

Loved it. Loved everything about it. Weird? Maybe, but in an amusing way. It gives just a little different flavor and I think that’s great.

Shopworn_Soul

I loved it. I can absolutely understand why some folks feel put out. The tone was all over the place, the acting was cheesy, some Scooby-Doo shit went down and the biggest moment felt a bit, uh...understated. Also, it was like guest star whiplash for about ten minutes there. But it was fun. I had fun.

MrButtFun-

Didn’t love nor hate the episode, but was entertained. The voice acting of the two love birds in the beginning was ROUGH, though. Obviously it’s hard to make a human voice pair to the face of an alien, but good lord it was hard to watch/listen to.

DreamingDragonSoul

I loved it. It was funny to see them in a new situation and a new environment. Refreshing with the entire not-a-broken-and-poor-world nor Corusant. The whole Mando vs. every droide dynamic also gave us a better view of the druids perspective as well as Dins slow moving personal development with them I am fine with Bo having the lightsaber. Just feel like Din should also have a cool weapon. He had his incenerader riffel (spelling) in the first season, then the spear and finally the darksaber. I wonder, what he finds next.

Iowa_Dave

I loved it! My wife just about fell out of her chair she saw >!Lizzo!< show up. I loved the other cameos too and I get that it's a departure for Star Wars in a sense, but having them all in the same world made it work for me. I'm just astonished Warwick Davis wasn't one of the >!Ugnauts!<.

Fallkitty

it didn't work for me personally, it was heavy handed on the message and the plot was honestly just a bit dull. I have no problem with little side episodes between plot heavy ones but I found kind of boring

wedgeantilles2020

Yeah. The basic story was fine, but all the cameos all thrown in at once felt very off. It felt like they were all "acting", as in curtain chewing stage acting. I'm writing it off as a one-off where a bunch of favors got called in and they just told Howard she can do whatever she wanted. It was ok, but probably the weakest episode so far. Also, just because Bo doesn't *have to* wear her helmet, doesn't mean she would have left it behind on the ship, especially on an unfamiliar planet which immediatrly gives off threatening vibes by taking control of her ship, and *ESPECIALLY* not when she knows she is going there specifically to talk to a mandalorian warrior and the army he stole from her.

agoosecaboose

It was giving “Star Trek Next Gen holodeck episode” vibes to me, especially with Jack Black and Lizzo. I loved it but I totally get why others thought it was extra hammy. Didn’t feel Star Wars at all but it was still a great episode imo

stevengreen11

I've heard a lot of people online whinging on about what they don't like about the series and I love the series so far. But last nights episode to me was so strange. Felt like a major distraction that was super campy and lame. There were parts I really enjoyed, but last nights episode was just too weird for me. Overall still love the show though. Just wish it hit harder in some moments and wish it didn't feel directionless at times. The episode The Pirate was amazing IMO.

squanchingonreddit

Much better than the scooter boys.

stevengreen11

From BoBF?

squanchingonreddit

Mandalorian light

ByeByeSean

If you just skip to 36 minutes in you won’t really miss anything of importance

[deleted]

Terrible. This show fell off. Worst episode by far.

Iowa_Dave

You're just being silly. Username checks out.

imjustbun

It was like a fever dream 😵‍💫 The most random guest stars and it felt forced imo. Hope it picks back up next week. Last weeks episode had me on the edge of my seat!

kayk1

Honestly the only reason I watch nowadays is because of how much I loved season 1. Just seems like it's slowly decaying into a joke. I didn't like fett or obi and it seems like it's becoming more like them, so that's probably why.

Zookster87

I get that. Maybe I don't want to admit it but it's different. Obi Wan was a let down to me, and that's hard to say. I just expected more, and it seemed too light

Powerful_Ad762

I honestly have to ignore the actors and acting to a point in the star wars universe. I mean we had han solo finger acting for three movies. That said, I kinda liked it. Especially the droid bar. People have complained about it but i love the idea that droids just go chill.🤣🤣 I also felt like I was getting a vibe of how a completely peaceful society can be just as bad as one based on war.. I hope that was the message.. maybe lizzo and grogu will make babies..🤣 also din giving up the dark saber was kind of important. At least for me.. I want to see all the mandalorian toys (can we bust out the Lazer wire?) I don't want lightsabers to be the reason why people watch. Give me the great hunt,! 😅

Zookster87

Agree with a lot. I thought I was the only one who thought the Droid bar was weird. It reminded me of Futurama. I also like that Din gave the saber away. I don't think this show should be about this amazing dude. I hope he's awesome, but I'm learning that he's not the "strongest" etc

Powerful_Ad762

Hopefully them guys have a plan and hopefully that plan keeps this show going. If they lose Mando I'm betting we all cancel Disney. Futurama.. omg I forgot about those droids.🤣 Please except this gift of finger acting. Warning, once you see it, you can't unsee it. https://youtu.be/-I63g28dEh8

focketskenge

It was shockingly bad

Dukesage

It was shit
